e.l.f. is Coming to Ulta (Update: Items Now on the Website)

Shhh! Listen. Did you hear that? That was the sound of things just getting real.

E.L.F. IS COMING TO ULTA.

Yes, you read that correctly! Thanks so much to longtime reader Meghan (@cupcakecore on Twitter) for letting me know that she just spotted the  e.l.f. page on the Ulta website HERE.

UPDATE: there are items now listed on the site, available for purchase HERE.

Here's the full banner from that page:

As you can see when you click the page, right now there are only some sets and skincare. Hopefully more items will be added over the new few hours/days.

I'm guessing that some of you may be thinking:

"But G., why is this special? You can already get e.l.f. on their own website, and also at Target, Walmart, CVS, Kmart, Old Navy, etc. etc. etc."

To that I would say:

"You're right! But Ulta will not exclude e.l.f. from their coupons, and I'm sure they'll run sales as well, which you can combine with their coupons. Plus, how many times have you been just a dollar or two shy of free shipping on the Ulta site? Given e.l.f.'s pricing, this could come in handy the next time you need an inexpensive item to push you over the $50 free shipping threshold. Plus, as we all know by now, every purchase at Ulta earns you reward points."

Thanks again, Meghan, for the hot tip!

  1. It's also nice to know that I can get ELF at Ulta while I'm earning points! The 2x, 3x, even 5x point days would come in handy to rack em up! lol

    1. Yes!!! Lisa, I think you were leaving your comment as I was adding that to my response. Great minds! 😉

  2. Great point on the shipping thing. I had to add some meh nail file on my last order to make it to the free shipping. I wish platinum members got free shipping. Or that they would offer something like Sephora does.

    1. Yep! I currently have a small box of "meh" stuff that I've collected over the last year or so because of that, so this will be so nice! And I agree. If Ulta had something like Flash, it would be a game changer!

    2. Oh geez. If Ulta had something like Flash I would be *so broke.* :-)

    3. Me too. Even more so than I already am. 😃

  3. That's awesome! I can get it from Target now, but my Target has a pretty limited selection.

  4. I refuse to order from Ulta.com because the one time I did, the shipping took FOREVER. I order on Sephora ( I am rouge and do things like buy a $3 item when they are doing a promotion like 5 samples without even a thought) and if it is only available at Ulta- I wait to buy it until I am near an Ulta store. Amazon Prime and Sephora get all my business.

    1. Yaaas! I totally agree, with a wider selection than most drugstores. Oh and what about Wet n wild.

    2. How I wish Milani was sold there!! & I could almost swear I saw a W&W trio at an Ulta a couple of yrs ago. Maybe someone randomly returned it there by accident or some kind of weird thing happened lol

  7. How awesome! I think Ulta is stepping up their game... and I love it. I had a terrible Sephora experience (my account # was for whomever's fault given to someone else in Canada. She had access to ALL of my info., including my cc info.) and I will avoid as much possible.

  8. I was at ulta yesterday and they had a huge section of the drugstore brands completely bare, like they're putting something new in. Could it be for e.l.f.?

  9. I'm hoping they'll have the full elf collection, including the new releases because I HATE ordering from elf's website, so I usually just sit and wait for it to come to Target. It would be so awesome to just be able to buy any elf product I want in store or online from Ulta (because of points, coupons, returns, etc). Thanks for posting this, G!

  10. Random question, but has anyone else NOT been receiving Ulta emails lately? I don't seem to have received a single one since 6/30, and I usually receive them on an almost daily basis.

On topic, super excited about ELF! My local CVSes have started carrying a small selection, but no skincare or anything like that.

  11. So happy you can use coupons. Just wanted to let you know Walmart is having a huge rollback e.g. real techniques http://www.walmart.com/ip/Real-Techniques-Core-Collection-Brush-Set-with-2-in-1-Case-Stand/21097860 $8.50 from $17.98 free pick up in store :)

  12. Your last paragraph is exactly what first occurred to me. So many palettes and things are like $42 or $49. But there are a few e.l.f. items that I would actually use if I paid the extra couple of bucks for them to get free shipping.

  13. This is great news!! I personally love shopping at Ulta because the rewards system is fantastic. And you're right, this will be the perfect bump for free shipping

  15. Ulta is starting to carry BH Cosmetics! Only one palette online, but will be in stores at the end of the month!
