NEW Sephora Favorites Soko to Tokyo Customizable Skin Care Set (YOU CHOOSE 5 of 13 Products)

UPDATE (11AM PST 6/20): I don't know what's happening right now but I just noticed that when you go to the item listing, it says this item is no longer available. There's no way it sold out THAT quickly, so hopefully that's just a bug and this set will be back online soon. Keep checking back!

Thanks so much to readers Monica Garcia and Kim from Beantown for this hot tip!

The new Sephora Favorites Soko to Tokyo Customizable Skin Care Set is now available for purchase on the Sephora website HERE for $25. Unlike other Sephora Favorites sets, YOU CHOOSE the five products you want to receive (out of the 13 products in the item listing). These items will then be added to your basket separately (after you click "add all to basket"), with each individual retail value listed, but your FINAL PRICE will be $25.

Here's a breakdown of  all 13 options with sizes, retail values, and links to each product:

Each of these items can be purchased separately for $20 on the Sephora site, but why would you do that when you can get 5 for $25, right?

And just a reminder (because you haven't heard this enough, I know!), if you don't already have free shipping due to your VIB status, you should really consider signing up for Sephora Flash if you don't already have it. For $10 a year, you get free unlimited 2-day shipping on all orders. It pays for itself after just two orders. Plus, your subscription starts the moment you add it to your cart, meaning that anything else you buy will ship free. It's so handy for these sets.

Thanks again, Monica Garcia and Kim from Beantown, for the great tips!

    1. You are so welcome! I'm happy to help. But now the big question: which five items are you selecting?? ;) I currently only have ONE item selected (Tatcha). So hard to narrow down the other four choices!

    2. I got the Tatcha Polished Deep Rice Enzyme Powder, Amore Pacific Mositure Bound Skin Energy Hydration Delivery System, Too Cool for School Egg Mousse Pack, SKII RNA Power, and Skin Inc. Pure Deepsea Hydrating Mask. I was tempted by the Erborian Ginseng Milk, Caolion Premium Hot & Cool Pore Pack Duo. I already have Belief products (and love them) and Dr. Jart tends to come in Birchbox so I'll wait for that! :)

    3. I just ran out of my classic Tatcha powder this morning so I selected that. Sk2 cream, Boscia peel, AmorePacific Moisture Bound, and the Too Cool For School egg mousse pack. I was able to order without a hitch as soon as you posted (thank you for mobile alerts) so I hope the issues work out for everyone else.

  2. I'm trying to get this and followed instructions but the discount never showed when I checked out. Anyone have this issue?

    1. The discount should apply once you start the checkout process but it doesn't show in the cart before that.

    2. I had a little issue..I cleared my browsing data and tried again and it worked.

    3. I encountered that problem when I tried to go back and edit my choices, so here are some tips that helped me when I was testing this out:

Delete all of the items from you basket.
Wait about 5-10 minutes to allow everything to reset (I didn't wait the first time and it ended up adding all of my previous selections plus my new selections)
Add your 5 choices again (be sure to click "add all")

If that still doesn't work, open up an incognito window in your browser, and start fresh.

Please let me know if it works!

    4. As someone who works in e-commerce, clearing browsing data, incognito windows, and/or restarting your browser will fix almost anything! 😂

  3. Ahh, I was attempting to go on a no-buy. How could I resist?? I have spotted a couple new skin care sets at Sephora inside JCP- a smaller verison of the beauty on the fly, skincare ritual, and a mask set with a voucher for a full size of the deluxe samples provided!

  5. I don't have Sephora Flash, but once you go at checkout the shipping is free! My total came out to $27.25!

  6. The price is $125 in my cart; it doesn't automatically update to $25 like the page says it will. Probably a bug, but just FYI!

    1. no, they aren't. they still are a decent size for the price!

  8. I just added everything and about to checkout. The bag for "$25" is out of stock already :(

  9. it just said product is out of stock, so I'm going to clear the browzer and wait a bit. Fingers crossed!

  10. Thank you so much!

I received a Boscia peel sample with a previous purchase and now I can't live without it, so that was a no-brainer. I added the Tatcha rice powder, the Shiseido cleansing oil, the Erborian ginseng milk, and the SK-II cream. The freebie: the Umbrian toner.

I had no issues with the discount. I hope it works for everyone else!

  13. Hey everyone--I just updated my post because I too noticed that it's saying this set is out of stock. HOPEFULLY that's just a bug because there's no way it could have sold out THAT quickly. Please keep checking and hopefully it will be back online soon!

  15. The items listed for $20 are not the real prices. They just made up product numbers and listed everything as $20. WHEN sheet masks are only $7 usually, the Boscia prices out to $11.56, Tatcha Powder is $10.83, the Dr. Jart Balm is actually a "Full size" travel item listed for $18 and the two Belif creams come out to $17.29 together. Still for $25 this is an awesome deal if you pick the pricier items. I would save the sheet masks for another time to get the best bang for your buck!

    1. Yes, I should have made that more clear in my post! I didn't claim that $20 was the actual retail price of these items, only that you can get them for this price on the Sephora site (via the links listed in my post). Hope that makes sense, and thank you so much for the helpful tip!

  16. The link isn't working. Sad face!

  17. "This page no longer exists". Hopefully, it exists again soon!

  18. As of just before 3pm eastern, I get a '"sorry page no longer exists" message. Bummer...someone at Sephora must've made it available before they were really supposed to... :O

Hopefully it comes back! Sounded great!

  19. It still isn't working. They could really be sold out.

  20. I just called Sephora customer service and they said it appear to be sold out :(

  21. So sad, as soon as I chose the 5 and added to cart, the basket said "out of stock".

    ReplyDelete
  22. Customer service told me that the set will be available on the site shortly and is not permanently out of stock! I had some issues with my order and they told me to contact them tmrw to finish processing my request. :) keep a close look out everyone! :)

  23. Still haven't seen the set come back yet. It looked like a great deal too!

  24. I just really want the cute makeup bag it comes with, all the other stuff is extra. ;)

  25. If the sizes listed in your post are correct, the best value item to get would be the Skin Inc. Pure Deepsea Hydrating Mask - it retails at $75 for 1.7oz, so a 0.68oz size would be valued at $30. In case it helps anyone else when making decisions, I calculated the values for each of the sample sizes (based on the largest full-size product available at Sephora):

    Tatcha - $10.83
    Dr. Jart - $15.84
    Caolion - $7.76
    belif - $14.93
    Skin Inc. - $30.00
    AmorePacific - $12.96
Too Cool for School - $10.00
    Karuna - $7.00
    boscia - $11.90
    Erborian - $6.09
    When - $7.00
    Shiseido - $5.85
    SK-II - $6.81

  26. I emailed customer service asking when this set would be available again and got the following response:
"Thank you for contacting Sephora. The Sephora Favorites Soko to Tokyo Customizable skin care set is temporarily off of our website. The product is on order and is on its way to our warehouse. It should be available within the next few weeks.".
Looks like it'll be a while until it's available again :(

  27. I received mine today and tagged you in my instagram post. I totally would recommend against the SK II cream- it is literally the same size as a SK II eye cream sample I received from a Nordstorm order.

  28. They also changed the picture that's appearing in my "Loves" and it only includes four products. :( I got my set today and it didn't actually include the bag in the photo. Since the product page is down I can't look back and see if it said whether or the bag was actually included. Do you recall??
