Remember back in April when
reader L. spotted the new Break Away Collection at Meijer? Sometimes Sinful Colors releases collections/shades at regional retailers like Meijer, Wegmans, etc. that never,
ever land at national retailers like Walgreens (I'm STILL looking for
Stella, darnit). But I'm delighted to tell you that
the Break Away collection is not one of them!

Amanda over at Pretty Girl Science did a nice comparison of
Hey, You! to
Exotic Green (permanent shade) which
you can see here. They're not dupes (
Hey, You! is lighter) but they're quite similar.

Open Seas is making a reappearance! If you don't remember Open Seas, it was part of the Sinful Colors Limited Edition
Summer 2011 Adventure Island Collection and the shades in that collection were
very similar to the
Spring/Summer 2011 OPI Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides Collection).
Open Seas is pretty darned close to OPI
Mermaid's Tears, and Thelovelypolish kindly shared this pic of them side-by-side:

How exciting is this? Especially since Sinful Colors is on sale this week (now through 10/26) for $0.99 each at Walgreens! Hopefully we all can find this display before the sale is over, right?

G, i picked up Over It back in August from Walgreens (no Wegmans or Meijer where i live in TX)... i found it in the same display as "Sinful Colors Bright Essentials" i would really love for Seaweed to come back! it's been on my wishlist forever!

DeleteJust an FYI for the Walgreens Sinful Colors $.99 sale til the 26th, it is a limit of 3 per purchase. But you can do multiple purchases on the same card.

ReplyDeleteFrom the display, it looks like it was a summer collection. Maybe they had extra and are now releasing them nationally. ?
ReplyDeleteThe case this display comes in even says Mar/Aprl on it yet my store never had it that time around so it might have had shipping/manufacturer problems.
