Sally Beauty Red Tag Clearance Sale Haul

So I stopped by a local Sally Beauty store here in San Diego over the weekend to take advantage of the 50% off Red Tag Clearance sale going on now (through tonight, 9/22). I've been LOVING reading what you all have been finding on clearance at your local stores this weekend (check the comments here), so I thought I'd share my own little haul with you. Take a look!

My Sally Beauty Red Tag Clearance Sale Haul

The breakdown:

From the Orly Spring 2013 FX Mega Pixel Collection:

Plum Pixel: $2.99
Aqua Pixel: $2.99

The regular retail price of these polishes is $10. Sally had them reduced to $5.99, and then 50% off the red tag price = $2.99. If you haven't seen these yet, check out Lacq Lustre's swatches here.

From the China Glaze Summer 2013 Texture Collection:

In The Rough: $1.64

The regular retail price of the Texture collection polishes is $5.99. Sally had them reduced to $3.28, and then 50% off the red tag price = $1.64. You can check out Let Them Have Polish's swatches of In The Rough here.

Real Colors Hydra Eyes Waterproof Gel Liner:

Don't Be So Brass: $1.89

The regular retail price of these lines is $5.49. Sally had them reduced to $3.78 and then 50% off the red tag price = $1.89. I haven't tried anything from Real Colors before, but I love bronze-y eyeliners so I thought, "What the heck, it's under two bucks!" The Sally employee who rang me up said that she really likes these and that they go on very smoothly, so we'll see. The reviews on Makeup Alley aren't too shabby.

Total retail price of this haul: $31.48
Total out of pocket: $9.51
Total savings: $21.97

Did you score this weekend at the Sally Beauty Red Tag Clearance Sale? I'd love to hear all about it!

  1. This is such a great sale. I love being able to pick up polishes that weren't must buys for me at full price.

  2. I hate textures and don't like how subtle the holo effect in the China Glaze collection was, so I bought very few polishes this time around. I ended up picking up a few holiday nail stickers, a bodywash, some lotions and a lipstick during my visit. All for a great price. I've uploaded a picture that will hopefully show up on this link: http://i.imgur.com/pTYkKXs.jpg
