A few days ago, reader levmealona left this helpful comment on the You Tell Me page:
Levmealona writes:
I was just at a Rite Aid and saw a new display called Bubble Gum by Day Urban by Night for their regular nail polishes new shades. The display contained a dark gray creme very similar to the swatches I have seen of the Moon Candy collection-base color of Milky Way, and a dark blue navy creme called Urban which might be similar to the base color of Galactic. Also, I believe they re-promoted Sparkle Aplenty (limited edition) as another name. They had a matte top coat, an iridescent top coat, a minty green I guess to replace Minted clearanced at CVS, a milky glitter polish with pink base.
This is a lot to process, so let's break it down:
1) A new matte cop coat
2) A possible repromote of the LE shade Sparkle Aplenty
3) And you all know that I LOVED the base colors in the Moon Candy collection and hoped that these would be offered as individual shades (they're one-coaters!) so I'm thrilled about this.
But that's not all...
Reader Christina was kind enough to let me know that Manicure Addict shared some pics of these new glitter top coats on Instagram. Check these out:Click here for bottle shots of Girly (milky pink glitter!) and Heavenly (square iridescent glitter!)Click here for swatches of GirlyClick here for a side-by-side comparison of Heavenly and Deborah Lippmann Stairway to Heaven (it's a dupe!)
Speaking of dupes, I think that Revlon Girly looks similar to Nails Inc. Topping Lane (not exact, but similar). What do you think?
A huge thanks to everyone who took the time to tell me about this new collection, and an extra special thanks to readers Amy, levmealona and Christina for the info above! If you've spotted this collection in your area yet, please do let us know in the comments!
Those are beautiful! Need Girly!
ReplyDeleteMe too!! :)
DeleteMe three!!!!!!! :)

ReplyDeleteTopping Lane is only red white and blue, I actually think Girly is much cuter. I NEED TO FIND IT @____@
ReplyDeleteOmg! NEED THESE! So glad Revlon has been stepping up their game!
ReplyDeleteI saw this display at my Rite Aid and picked up four polishes. They have a BOGO 1/2 off. I got the Matte top coat, Heavenly, Girly and Ritzy. They are so beautiful and amazing. As far as I could tell, the display had two of each color.
ReplyDeleteI need to go to Rite Aid RIGHT NOWWWWW!
ReplyDeleteHeavenly is gorgeous, I am intrigued!
ReplyDeleteYes! They were at my local HEB grocery store in Austin, TX. I bought the gorgeous teal color called Trendy (just to the left of the sparkly black on the Urban side) & the matte top coat. I haven't had a chance to wear either yet, but I'm planning to soon!
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking that I need to get a better camera phone so that I can help investigate these new finds (which kind of defeats the purpose of bargain hunting, but oh well).
ReplyDeleteEeeeeeeee!!! More milky glitters!!! :D
ReplyDeleteNeed Need AND NEED!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I have never hated not having a Rite Aid near me so much! I need ALL of these! ESPECIALLY that milky pink glitter!
ReplyDeleteOMGGGG Girly is so pretty! MUST GET THIS!
ReplyDeleteHeavenly looks nice too. I don't own Stairway to Heaven~
I feel like I haven't seen any new polishes from Revlon in a while so I'm glad to hear about this. :)
I went to a Rite Aid tonight hoping to find this display but alas no Luck. I will keep trying, there are several colors I need to see in person. Heavenly, Girly, the Mint Color and the glitter next to it! Thanks for the information girls
ReplyDeleteI like Girly! Heavenly and Trendy look nice too. I'm vaguely interested in the Sparkle Aplenty repromote (maybe it says "Glitzy? That's what it looks like to me).
ReplyDeleteI bought trendy and checked my collection for a dupe, well I have one,its sally hansen complete salon manicure in fairy teal.
ReplyDeleteNeeeeeed!! Keeping my eye out for these! Love Girly and Heavenly! <3
ReplyDeleteOhhh gosh I want Girly and Trendy! I really hope they come over to the UK.
ReplyDeleteI didn't find them at rite aid :'( but I saw at Ulta the urban nights part only
ReplyDeleteI may have to try and find these then. I wanted Sparkle A Plenty so get to see what they got!
ReplyDeleteI picked up Girly last night! So excited to try it out!
ReplyDeleteI found this collection at Rite Aid this morning and was super excited! I picked up "Heavenly" because I'm a sucker for iridescent white glitters-- I had no idea it was a DL dupe! Now I like it even more. :D
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to go back for more of those later in the week, as a treat for getting through finals week!
Found these at two different Rite Aids by my house. Bought girly and urban...really happy with my purchase.
ReplyDeleteSaw it at Walgreens today.. fully stocked like they just put it out..Bought Urban, Girly, Heavenly and Sheer Sweetie (Which I think is going to be awesome for glitter sammys) =D Oh yah they were BOGO 50% off
ReplyDeletei got heavenly and girly at rite aid in michigan..i was tempted to get a couple more colors while i was there too! lol
ReplyDeleteJust got pretty much the entire collection (minus the ones that I already had) from Walgreens thanks to an awesome lady that opened the box for me and let me dig before they actually hit the floor ;)
ReplyDeleteSo excited to try "Girly"
Can anyone tell me if eclectic is indeed a re-promote (dupe) of minted? I have scoured the web and cant find anyone that has done a swatch comparison or even side-by-side bottle shot. I have minted and love the Colorado but not the formula. I would get eclectic if its a different shade or even just an improved formula of minted.
