New Fall Candles From Slatkin & Co.

I just received the press release for the new Fall 2011 scents from Slatkin & Co (Bath & Body Works) but I want to warn you: read with caution! If you don't already have a sugar craving, you might after you read this:

SLATKIN & CO. FALL 2011 SILVER LID CANDLES ($19.50 each, available at www.bathandbodyworks.com)

  • NEW Pumpkin Caramel Latte: A frothy blend of creamy pumpkin, sweet vanilla cream and rich pralines is topped with a spiced caramel swirl
  • NEW Smores:  Layers of gooey marshmallow, melted dark chocolate and sweet graham crackers
  • NEW Apple Crumble: Baked Granny Smith and McIntosh Apples topped with vanilla crumble, cinnamon and nutmeg
  • NEW Oatmeal Raisin Cookie: Fresh baked oatmeal blended with sweet raisins, caramelized brown sugar and vanilla extract

I love that these are also available in the minis (which are 3 for $5). Those mini candles pack a powerful punch! I burned my Salty Caramel mini last night and wow, it scented my entire home by the end of the night!

What's your favorite fragrance from Slatkin?

  4. I got 3 for $5 and I'm sold! These are so scrumptious! If they still have those minis, I'm getting them as stocking stuffers; they are perfect!

These fragrances will put you into the fall mood as fast as you can say 'pass me the cider!'

  6. I used to be a Yankee Candle die-hard, until I discovered Slatkin. Right now I'm loving Coconut Leaves and I'd like to burn my Salted Caramel mini more often, but my BF thinks it smell like something burnt. lol - so I light it while he's at work ;)

  14. I hate food scented candles. I like my house to smell like apple pie when I bake one. Most of them smell (to me anyway) sickly sweet. Slatkin makes nice candles, just not a fan of the edible scents. Citrus flower is my favorite although they used to sell a line of candles from Henri Bendel...those were perfect.

  15. laheelahee: That's hard to say. I personally like the minis because I get tired of scents quickly. When I buy big candles, sometimes I get sick of the scent before I'm done burning it, so I feel like they can be a waste of money (for me personally). So that's why I stick to the smaller ones--you can try lots of different scents for less money that way. But if you KNOW you love a particular scent, it's nice to get one of the bigger candles because it will last you a long time. hope that helps!
