Spotted at Walgreens: Pure Ice Crackle Nail Effects

If you live near a Walgreens that carries Pure Ice (mine doesn't, so consider yourself lucky if yours does!) then you might be very excited to know that Pure Ice has released a collection of crackle polishes and they retail for just $3.99!

A HUGE thanks to my pal Rach for the scoop on these!

Thanks again, Rach, for the great scoop and pics!

Have you spotted these crackles from Pure Ice yet? Have you tried any? If so, what do you think of them? I have to admit that I'm loving the fact that so many different polish brands are releasing crackles because each brand seems to be releasing different shades (in addition to the standard black, white and silver). What's your favorite crackle polish?

  1. *drool* I hope I can find them. But I've never seen this brand at the Wags around here. Nor, anywhere, for that matter.

  4. My Walgreens doesn't carry Pure Ice, but I wonder if they will carry these in Walmart? I'll have to keep my eyes open for these because I love Pure Ice polishes and these are definitely more affordable than the SH ones!

  7. I wonder how good the crackle is though :/. Because the Essence crackle at Ulta is really bad. The formula is too thin and streaky.

  8. Walmart near me carries Pure Ice! The colors look amazing! Hope Rachel bought some and lets you know how they worked!

  9. My wags does not carry Pure Ice but Walmart does so hopefully they will get these in. I just came back from Walmart and didnt see these. But i didnt really look at the Pure ice polishes but i did see the new Calgon stuff. They had everything except the moisture mist they had the one with shimmer but not just the moisture one without shimmer. They all smelled really good so i might get Flirty Tease and the Femme one i cant remember the last word in that one. But they smelled really good.
@FancyPants315 were these on an endcap or just with the regular Pure Ice polishes?

  10. These crackle polishes are getting more and more fame with brands from all over. (: Might check out the silver one. I only own OPI's Black Shatter from the Katy Perry collection.

  12. My Walgreens didn't have the Pure Ice Crackles today, but I was really surprised to see that they had a display of the Kleancolor Crackles for $3.99/ea.

  13. my Walmarts carry Pure Ice,but last time I checked there was no Crackle yet. Nice display!

  14. Hopefully my wally world will carry this. I have been dying for crackle polish for the past 8 months now and NONE of any brand are available here. Even the big salon super store doesn't have anything except a ridiculously over priced OPI three pack which only has one crackle black.

  16. I went to my local Walgreens for something else and saw these crackle polishes, I bought the orange and the silver so I'm going to try them out before I buy up the whole collection lol

  17. My Wags in Suffolk Va had the display, whoohoo! I've never seen Pure Ice there before but the cosmetics gal (who knows me now *blushes*) said they put them out Wed/Thurs. I picked up the yellow :). And the price is right compared to Sally Hansen's version.

  19. Luckily my Walmart carries Pure Ice, so I hope to see these crackles soon! They have so many color options. I'm tired of seeing the same old from other brands, so this is awesome. Even at $3.99 a bottle, I'd be okay if they didn't end up being the best, but then again if they're really good, that's such a good deal. It's much better than the $7.00 price for Sally Hansen crackles.

  20. Saw the display in my local Walgreens today & got the silver one, "Lightning Strikes." I just put it on over a WnW black and it looks pretty awesome! Quite a good crackle effect and plenty opaque. This is my first crackle, though.

  22. I have seen them at my local Walgreens. I love the variety of colors the Sally Hansen and Pure Ice have, but I have to say the black shatter from OPI is still my absolute favorite. I love "color" but the formula of the OPI has been the best so far. China Glaze crackles are my second fave.

  23. I picked one of these up from my local Walgreens(I live in CT) this weekend. LOVE IT! My only suggestion would be to paint 3 quick strokes of the crackle in order to get more of the effect. The more you paint, the less cracks you will get.

  24. I actually just picked up the black one and did a quick trial on my ring finger nail and I love it! For $3.99 you cannot go wrong with these! I can't wait to go back and get more colors :D

  25. WOW!! Such an INSANE collection of colors! *runs to look at swatches*

  26. I just used this and i think it's TERRIBLE! It's watery and the only way to get it to show is through layering, but then the cracks don't really appear. I'm disappointed.

  27. I have the China Glaze Silver and love it. I bought the white Pure Ice. It is nice but I didn't think the quality was as great, but for the price I'd get another color!

  28. I have the China Glaze in silver metallic and Love it! I also just bought the Pure Ice in white. It is good, but the quality isn't as nice at the China Glaze. However, for the great price, I'd get another Pure Ice.
