A FEW THOUGHTS: I have used Origins Cheeks and Balances in the past after receiving some deluxe samples in various gift sets. After using it multiple times, I have mixed feelings about it. For my oily skin, I find that it's very effective at removing my makeup (even mascara), but it leaves a slight film on my skin after rinsing. It does not cause me any breakouts, and I enjoy the minty fragrance, but I'm not sure I would purchase a full-size tube. That said,  A LOT of people swear by this cleanser and at first I thought, "Oh, they probably have dry skin" because that slight film I feel on my oily skin may translate to a boost of extra moisture for dry skin. However, I have seen many positive reviews from people with oily skin, as well as from those with dry skin.     I love checks and balance and it's manly for people with combo skin which is why it prob didn't work out for you. Also a little goes a long way so if you use too much, you'll end up taking forever washing your face! Lol

    First I just want to say thank you for all your helpful information- I love when you give a personal recommendation for products!

    I also want to add that my husband LOVES Checks and Balances, so I bought him two tubes for this price (Happy Anniversary to him!), and it might be a product them men in your lives might appreciate.

      Yes, I was so grateful for your recommendation for the It Cosmetics foundation brush yesterday, because when I saw the brush deal I thought, "I don't need another foundation brush," but then I read your post and I absolutely needed a highlighter brush, so I jumped on that deal. Thanks again!

    Attention Katie! I received your comment this morning and initially approved it, but then deleted it. I SO appreciate you sharing the code for the Too Faced deluxe mascara, but I believe the code you shared was a unique code just for you. Therefore, I deleted your comment in case you have yet to actually use the code. I would hate for someone else to use it before you had a chance, only for you to find out that it was a one-time-use only code!     I used Origins checks and balances a long time ago and I found it to be a good face wash but not remarkable. Also as it aged it actually started drying out my skin, so I suggest to not buy too much and use it up asap.

    I've tried the origins face wash before in response to the amazing reviews. I have normal to dry skin and it totally made my dry patches worse. I really wanted to like this but my skin won't let me.
