I ordered the Target November 2016 Beauty Box when it first went live, and at the time it was $10 + free shipping. I snapped some pics on my phone (sorry for the low quality of these photos but it's a crazy time of year and I'm doing things as quickly as I can right now) so that you can get a closer look, if you're on the fence about this box:
I didn't photograph it, but this box also came with the usual $3 off $15 coupon that you can use toward any online or in-store beauty purchase. The expiration date on this coupon is 12/3/16,

- Full-size Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner in Black ($5.99 at Target)
- Deluxe sample W3LL People Bio Brightener Cream in Universal Glow (I'm guessing that this is 0.5 oz. although there is no size listed on the pot)
As you can see, the L'Oreal and Revlon products are $6 each, so you're almost covering the entire price of the box with just one of those products.

- Laneige Water Bank Soothing Mask (one full-size sheet mask)

I thought this box was worth it at $10, but now I think it's REALLY worth it at $7, considering that this is basically the price of the L'Oreal mascara primer alone. I have been dying to try this primer since I love the Lancome mascara primer. L'Oreal owns Lancome, as most of you know, so I'm hoping it's a good dupe.

ReplyDeleteI got the Colour Riche La Palette Lip in Nude to try (BzzAgent) and I have to say, it was a huge disappointment. The colors immediately settled into lip lines and the only thing I really liked was the highlight. Bummer :(

ReplyDeleteInteresting that these usually sell out and this one didn't. I usually buy them and didn't buy this one because I wasn't crazy about the offerings and a couple are repeats. Hopefully they'll mix up the next one a bit.
ReplyDeleteOn Amazon, L'Oreal is also selling "Infallible Holiday Matte Gloss Trio Set". It looks like they're trying to branch out into holiday makeup gift sets.

ReplyDeleteI ended up buying it the day it was released, and I hadn't bought one for months. I really like the Andalou products, and that it came with a small highlighter, a full-size lash primer and the eye pencil made it appealing. I know Laneige is popular but I am not too wild about their products. The products are too fragranced, and I'm kind of over those masks. (Too much work to unpeel and place just so. Give me some old-fashioned goop to spread all over my face!)
ReplyDeleteI like the L'Oreal shampoo a lot and would consider a full size bottle, though it's hard for me to break away from my beloved Suave. The lash primer is only ok for me. I thought it made my eye lids feel heavy...Like I had on way too much mascara. It was nice that I only used one coat of mascara and my lashes were nice and separated but I think I would use this more if I am getting ready for a night out. I found the heavy feeling on my lashes distracting. That's the only things I have tried so far.
