New Nordstrom Holiday Beauty Gifts for Any Budget (And a Men's Gift Idea, Too)

I've partnered with Nordstrom to bring you some holiday beauty gift ideas (selected by me!) for any budget, all of which are available now on the Nordstrom website. As always, free shipping on all orders at Nordstrom, and right now Nordstrom is giving us five free mystery samples with all beauty purchases (you have your choice of a women's set or a men's set at checkout).

When I started working on this post before Thanksgiving, as I was looking through the Nordstrom Holiday Beauty Gifts page, I spotted a set that I HAD to order for myself immediately. So let's start with that one!

Crabtree & Evelyn Limited Edition Holiday Hand Therapy Sampler

Crabtree & Eveyln Limited Edition Holiday Hand Therapy Sampler - $19 ($27 value)
As many of you know by now, I adore Crabtree & Evelyn hand creams. They are in my top three hand cream formulas of all time (they're actually Holy Grail status at this point) and I own many of them. They are so creamy and luxurious, and they make my hands incredibly soft without leaving them sticky or greasy. The formula absorbs quickly, but leaves a light protective coating on the hands that lasts through a few hand-washings. I'm telling you, the formula of Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Therapy is everything I want in a hand cream--if you haven't tried these yet I highly recommend giving them a shot. You only need a tiny bit per application so one tube will last you a while.

This set is a great value because just one 0.9 oz. tube retails for $9 (I know this because I have purchased 0.9 oz. tubes many times). And you get THREE here, so the total value is $27. For $19, that's a steal, and you also get three special limited edition holiday scents in this set.

Let's take a closer look:

Made in USA of domestic and imported components

I just love the packaging of these special limited edition holiday tubes.

The scents in this set are:

Rose Pineapple
To me, this is the perfect blend of both notes. The rose and pineapple really seem to complement each other well in this fragrance--it's both floral and fruity (tropical) at the same time. Not too sweet, not too heavy. Just right.

Festive Fig
I definitely get a sweet fig note here (almost reminds me of Fig Newtons!) but then I also detect some tart cranberry, as well as a tiny dash of nutmeg, maybe? This is a yummy, comforting, "holiday" scent for sure.

Spiced Earl Grey
If I had to pick a favorite in this set (I truly love them all), it would be this one. I LOVE this fragrance. I get notes of unsweetened black tea and bergamot here (sort of a combination of orange, grapefruit, lemon and lime). This is not a sweet fragrance, but it's also not too herbal or masculine. It's what I always hope "tea" scents will smell like, but rarely do. It's perfection to my nose and if you generally like unsweetened tea fragrances, I'm willing to bet you're going to love this one. Especially if you like Earl Grey, because I feel that they really captured the essence of Earl Grey tea in this fragrance. I'm a huge Earl Grey tea drinker and it gets my seal of approval!

If these scents don't seem like your cup of tea (see what I did there?) then Nordstrom has lots of other Crabtree & Evelyn holiday Hand Therapy sets to choose from HERE. But I highly recommend this particular set--I think it would make a wonderful gift for mothers, sisters, grandmothers, aunts, teachers, neighbors...you name it.

Now for some other holiday beauty gift sets to put on your radar:

I have heard nothing but raves so far about these long-wear liners from Joeur. If you've been wanting to try them, this set is a great way to do it because you get SIX full-size liners for $38. These liners retail individually for $18 so that's a savings of $70. You're paying $6.34 per liner here, which is pretty much the price of a drugstore eyeliner (actually, some drugstore liners are more than $6.34 these days, right?).

The shades in this set are:
  • Matte Black
  • Matte Brown
  • Matte Plum
  • Matte Green
  • Matte Navy
  • Matte Charcoal

Hello Crush Rose Gold Bobby Pins (Nordstrom Exclusive) - $10 for a set of 20
Rose gold bobby pins? How could I NOT mention these? If you can't get enough rose gold in your life (um, that would be me), then I don't even need to explain. If you don't "get" the whole rose gold phenomenon, I understand (well...sort of). Anyway, I just had to make sure you knew about these.

Again with the rose gold, G.? I know. But since Tweezerman slant tweezers are my holy grail tweezers (I know a lot of you love them too), I just had to include this set. I already own the eyelash curler in this set (love it) but I feel like I need this entire set (not need-need, but "need"; there is a difference). I really hope my brother is reading this right now (I highly doubt it but I can hope!) since I know he hasn't even begun to do any Christmas shopping yet. And I want this. And it's under $50. The perfect brother-to-sister gift, if you ask me!

By the way, these are full-size slant tweezers (not minis) and alone, those retail for $23. The eyelash curler retails for $22 by itself, so right there you're already up to $45. So it's like you're saving $3 and getting the bag free.

Speaking of my brother, he's obsessed with Proraso shaving products, so I had to include this one if you're looking for a nice little gift for any men in your life. My brother uses the Sensitive Skin After Shave Balm that's in this set, as well as the Shaving Cream in a Tube that's in this set (I think he uses the shaving brush as well but I may be getting that confused with another brush I saw on his bathroom counter). Anyway, my point is that my brother loves this brand, and so does Mr. G. My brother and Mr. G both go to the same barber shop (it's one of those hipster old school barber shops that are popping up all over the place now) and those barbers take their shaving very seriously. And they love Proraso too (well, at least that's what my brother and Mr. G tell me). So that's three stamps of approval if you're looking for any men's gift ideas right now.

Fresh Hesperides is my favorite grapefruit fragrance of all time. I've been using Fresh Hesperides products since 2000. Sixteen years is a long time to be in love with a scent, so hopefully that gives you an idea of how wonderful this fragrance is to me. I love the shower gel and the body lotion (you get full-size versions of each here) and you also get a bonus 0.24 oz. jar of Deep Rose Hydration Face Cream in this set.

Fresh Oval Soap Collection - $45 ($73 value)
If grapefruit's not your thing, I also want to mention that Nordstrom has another new Fresh set that's equally as lovely. Here's what you get in this one:

  • Freesia Oval Soap (8.8 oz.)
  • Linden Oval Soap (8.8 oz.)
  • Fresh Life Oval Soap (8.8 oz.)
  • Sugar Rosé Tinted Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 (0.08 oz.)
  • Rose Deep Hydration Face Serum (0.24 oz.)

I love Fresh bar soaps. They're beautifully packaged and they're big and luxurious bars of soap. Linden is my favorite of the three in this set (I love love love lime blossom). You also get two minis in this set (Sugar Rose Lip Treatment and Rose Deep Hydration Serum) which makes it even better.

Danielle Creations Rose Gold Mirror Tray (Nordstrom Exclusive) - $30
For my last pick, I had to go with one more rose gold item. This is a brand new addition to the Nordstrom site (it also comes in silver) and I think it would be absolutely gorgeous on a vanity for storing perfume or makeup. I am seriously tempted to treat myself with this one.

I hope this post helps gives you some ideas for holiday gifts this season. Please share your thoughts in the comments below!

  9. How can I talk myself into spending $10 on bobby pins? (they are like hair ties...they disappear into the abyss) I am all about rose gold too!

    1. Lol! Well I have them in my cart right now, and I have told myself that if I pull the trigger, I will treat these like they actually ARE gold. Lol. I will be super careful with them and not pull them out while I'm on the couch at night (thus, ensuring they fall off the coffee table and end up who knows where). I will use a special holder for them (a cute box...lord knows I have a million of those lying around) and they will always go back in that box, no matter what! ;)

  13. HEY! So I spotted Crabtree & Evelyn hand creme 12 packs in a tin for 34 dollars. Yes, that's correct. Not a typo. TWELVE WHOLE FULL SIZE HAND CREMES FOR 34 DOLLARS ONLY!!! (a value of 108 dollars, savings of SEVENTY-FOUR DOLLARS!!!) I promptly grabbed one for my friends/family stocking stuffers and some left over to get me through the year.

I hadn't seen you post about this and see how much you love it, so thought I'd share my outstanding tip. ;)
