My Sephora VIB Sale Wish List
At this point, I think we all know that the Sephora VIB sale started on the 11th, but we VIB members have until the 14th (tomorrow!) to make our final purchases. So I wanted to get this post up in case you're looking for ideas, or just want to know what I'm currently thinking about getting.
On the off chance that you're a VIB and don't know about this sale, you can enter code 20VIB on the Sephora site now through 11/14 to receive 20% off your orders (no exclusions). You can use that code as many times as you'd like through the 14th and it applies to regular products and also products on the sale page here.
So here's what I'm thinking about getting:
Kat Von D Lock-It Edge Concealer Brush - $24 ($19.20 after discount)
I have a lot of concealer brushes that I like, but haven't yet found my perfect holy grail concealer brush. This one has so many excellent reviews that I feel like I should get it while it's on sale. If you have this brush already I would love to know what you think of it!
It's Skin Cookie & Body Ice Cream - $10 ($8 after discount)
I already have the original scent (click here for my review) and you know I love it. So I feel like I need the other two while I can get them on sale.
Human + Kind Family Remedy Cream - Now on sale for $8 (reg $16; $6.40 after discount)
I've had this in my Loves forever because it seems like a great multi-use product with lots of wonderful ingredients. As luck would have it, Sephora has both sizes on sale right now for 50% off, so instead of paying $16 for the small tube, I can get it for $6.40 after the VIB discount. How can I say no??
Sunday Riley Power Couple Duo - $85 ($68 after discount)
After reading a zillion reviews of these two products, I feel like it's finally time for me to pull the trigger. In this set, both products are 0.5 oz (half of the full-size amount). So after the discount, that works out $34 per item. That is a great deal considering that the full-size 1.0 oz bottle of Luna retails for $105, which means the retail value of the bottle in this set is $52.50. Yeah, I'd much rather pay $34!
YSL VOLUPTÉ SHEER CANDY Glossy Balm Crystal Color - $37 ($29.60 after discount)
I have been wanting the shade 06 Luscious Cherry FOREVER. But that price tho! I mean, $29.60 is still crazy for a sheer tinted lip balm, I know. But YSL rarely goes on sale, so I feel like it might be time. Otherwise I guess I can just wait until YSL finally stops making this line, and they put me out of my misery!
Are you still plotting orders? What are YOU thinking about getting?

I have three of the YSL lip balms (purchased on sale or with a coupon) which still stings. The packaging is pretty and heavy. As for the formula it's pretty good and the color is sheer but still shows up. I like to have a variety of lip balms in my collection....from Chapstick to YSL and everything in between. I am always looking for these at the outlet and they never show up there....darn! I hope you decide to get it.
ReplyDeleteI received the kat Von d brush from influenster and liked it, but ultimately it wasn't a brush I would have purchased for myself. The bristles are soft and it's the perfect shape for smaller contouring. But for spot concealing I find it to be a bit too big. Also it gets dirty sooo fast. I pretty much have to clean it after every use whereas other brushes I wash once a week.
ReplyDeleteGreat list! That Kat Von D Lock-It Edge Concealer Brush is lovely. I really like using to apply and blend out my concealer.
ReplyDeleteI saw in an older post you recommended the Sephora Collection Classic Mini Multitasker Brush #45.5. That has always been in the back of my mind...Well, for the holiday season they have a limited edition in gold for the same price. The timing is right I will be getting that version! :-)
ReplyDeleteI have two of that brush because I like it so much! I'm definitely wanting to add the gold one to my collection but trying to be strong!
DeleteI bought a Human + Kind cream one time from Sephora online to get free shipping as it was only $5. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was for your hands, feet, and elbows so I think it's a good pick.
ReplyDeleteIf you're planning on shopping at Sephora, rite aid has a deal this week if you buy a $25 gift card, you get 500 plenti points (worth $5) and the limit is 2!
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
DeleteThank you!! I've already placed by order but I am on the fence about buying some more things. Somethings I had in my cart sold out before I placed my order (ahem, Bite Beauty lipstick set). If they re-stock I will purchase them with the giftcards. I knew I should have went to the pharmacy at Rite Aid to pick up my medication today. LOL Thank you again!
DeleteI like the UD finger brush. I've been using that for my concealer.

ReplyDeleteThe Kat Von D Lock-It Edge Concealer Brush is hands down my favorite multitasking brush. I use it for more than its main purpose. A must have!!!
G, if you have never tried the Sunday Riley products, you will be hooked. They are pricey, and this website is devoted to the more inexpensive lines, but, omg, you are going to love SR. I just got the Mint lotion. Another winner. It's small, but oh so cute. I hope you enjoy your haul. Jen
ReplyDeleteI bought an Urban Decay lipstick in store at JC Penney, but might have bought something else had it been a full-blown Sephora. I may still order online, though. The Human + Kind cream has me curious. If I had unlimited funds I'd be going nuts, but restraint...
