Unboxing: Sephora Favorites Glow For It Set (Back in Stock)

So I purchased this set online at Sephora when I first posted about it, and I was going to do an unboxing but noticed that it quickly went out of stock, so I held off on it. But then today, reader Cyndi B. kindly left a comment here on the blog letting us know that this set is back in stock at Sephora HERE (thank you, Cyndi B.!), so I took some pics as quickly as I could. This post is just to give you an idea of what you can expect if you order this box--I am in no way reviewing it, because I have not yet tried a single item in this set!

So here's a closer look:

(Please ignore how weird my hand looks in this pic--the shape of the Hourglass compact distorted it and made my middle finger look huge while my pinky looks tiny. Disturbing, yet hilarious.)

The Sephora Favorites Glow For It set retails for $30 at Sephora and it has a retail value of $75. This set contains six products (five deluxe samples and one full-size product). Unlike some previous Sephora Favorites set that were packaged in a box with a hinged lid, the lid of this box is not attached (it's like a gift box lid).

  • 0.08 oz Benefit Cosmetics Watt's Up! Cream-to-Powder Highlighter in Champagne
  • (deluxe sample)

  • 0.10 oz Cover FX Custom Infusion Drops in C+ Lemongrass - Radiance
  • (deluxe sample)

  • 0.68 oz Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid in Moonstone
  • (deluxe sample)

  • 0.14 oz Lancôme Glow Subtil Silky Crème Highlighter in Glowing Lights 06
  • (full-size)

  • 0.10 oz MILK MAKEUP Sunshine Oil
  • (deluxe sample)

  • 0.049 oz Hourglass Ambient® Strobe Lighting Powder in Incandescent Strobe Light
  • (deluxe sample)

The Lancome highlighter is the one full-size product in this set (0.14 oz.), and it retails individually for $30. So right there, you've covered the entire cost of the set. Everything else is literally FREE.

The most generously-sized deluxe sample in this set is the Becca liquid highlighter (0.68 oz.). The smallest sample is a tie between the Cover FX Infusion Drops and the Milk Sunshine Oil (both are 0.10 oz.).

I wish I could tell you how I like these products so far, but I have not yet tried any of them. I will say though, that I'm the most excited about the Lancome highlighter (I remember earlier this summer Temptalia gave it an A+ rating). I'm actually excited to try everything in this set since I don't own any of these products in full-size versions. The Milk and Cover FX samples are quite small, but there's still enough for multiple uses in each of those bottles, so I don't in any way feel "cheated" by the price of this set. I mean, the Lancome highlighter is full size and like I said earlier, that product alone is $30. So you're literally getting everything else here FREE.

I think that if you've been wanting to try most of these products, this is a great way to do so. The value is awesome, as is the case with most Sephora Favorites sets, so I wouldn't hesitate to grab it while it's back in stock.

I'm trying to get this post up as quickly as I can, so no time for my usual freebie codes list. You can check out most of the active codes HERE and if you're VIB or Rouge, there's a code for a new Clinique Pep Start skincare set (free with any $35+ online purchase). Enter code VIBPEPSTART to grab it.

I hope this helps a little, and thanks again to Cyndi B. for the tip about this set being back in stock!

  2. I cracked and ordered it. I've been eyeing that Lancome highlighter so it was worth it and I've wanted to try out that Hourglass highlighter for ages. I also got a deluxe sample of the Farmacy Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask with the promo code SKINGOALS.

  4. I ordered this set awhile ago and have been loving it! I like all the products in the box especially the Lancome which surprised me because that was the one I was least excited about getting. I am excited to play with the custom fx drops and see how they look once they are added to my foundation. The watts up is a beautiful stick highlight as well.

  5. I ordered this the first day because other than Watt's Up, I haven't tried anything either and I'm a sucker for highlighters. I haven't used anything yet either but I am a little shocked that the Lancome product is full size. There is no way I would pay $30 for that normally! It seems really small to me. It does, however, have a bouncy consistancy because I did swipe a finger over it just to see how it looked. It is gorgeous but $30 seems outrageous to me for the size. What do you think G?

  6. Hi G! FYI the moonstone is travel size and is at Sephora for $19 so the set is an even better value.

  9. I bought it the first time around and I LOVE it! The Lancome is so silky, I use the Watts Up for my inner corner eye highlight, the MILK oil I use on my chest area because I really cant see using a roller ball on my face for hygiene reasons, Becca I use under my foundation for a lil all over but subtle glow, the Hourglass is gorgeous, and I'll use the Coverfx in my nighttime moisturizer. Just in case anyone is wondering I'm approx NW 45ish,Cappuccino in Revlon Nearly Nude, and N8 in L'Oreal True Match.

    1. I got this set! I swatched the Lancome in store and loved it so this set seemed meant for me. The formula and packaging DOES feel pretty much identical to ColourPop! I own Churro as well and can tell you the Lancome is more subtle than Churro. My Churro is not that well blended though and is like half bronzer half highlight. Still glad I got the set but kind of laughed at myself when I realized the Lancome is so similar to $6 ColourPop! I even sent CP a picture on Snapchat saying "I think they stole your formula" LOL.
