And there's a makeup collection! The photos above and below are courtesy of reader @chikisluvscruz on Instagram, who spotted this collection at her local Walgreens and shared kindly share these pics.
The Gotham Girls makeup collection includes:
- Batgirl Lip Crayon Trio ($7)
- Harley Quinn Highlight, Bronze & Brush Set ($7; one compact with three shades + brush)
- Catwoman Eyeshadow Palette ($7)
- Batgirl Bat-Signal Face & Body Illuminator ($3; cream product in tube)
- Harley Quinn Mad Love Eyeshadow Shimmer ($3; loose powder)
- Catwoman Highlighter Stick ($3)
As you can see, no beauty book, nail polish, lipsticks, or Lip Smacker lip balm tin in this display. I don't know if those will come later in a separate display or if they're skipping those items this time around. I also don't know if this collection is made by Markwins like the previous few Walgreens collections.

Next up, reader @makeup_junkies101 on Instagram also found this collection at her local Walgreens (along with the brushes and bags) and kindly shared these pics with us.
This is this first limited edition Walgreens collection that you probably will not be able to find on the Drugstore.com site (Walgreens is closing down Drugstore.com and Beauty.com on 9/30). I just checked Walgreens.com and no sign of this collection...yet.

ReplyDeleteThose r adorable. I just saw the Barbie sets in my store. Something about being in the middle of the country takes forever to get anything and make it a smaller town not big size regular size stores. We r lucky to see very much limited Wsition. I was looking for the Fall WNW collection. No sign anywhere of any of it. But doesn't mean they didn't get any. We usually small displays with a very limited number like 3 of each if we're lucky. I so wish we had a Target near. Instead if two giant wlamrts and a neighborhood on the way it's being built. Supposedly why Target won't come in to a BIG State College Univ. I know we would support one with more than Basic household stuff.😔 Sorry rant over. I love the one with ears.

DeleteI love the cat ear one too Joyce. I'm in corn country and am amazed at the difference between Walgreens. The two stores in the college town ten miles away never have anything, yet the store one county away gets all the goodies. So it never hurts to check out different Walgreens all around you. You may have to drive a bit, but it's worth it and I'm used to road trips for everything LOL

ReplyDeleteThe harlequin set is so tempting! I purchased the Barbie brushes and they turned out pretty good no hair falls from the brushes yet. I like to use the small round brush to apply highlighter on top of cheeks or to soften it after applying works great being very small. I'm in LA haven't seen yet the WetnWild winter collection yet looking forward to discovering it soon.

ReplyDeleteThese aren't really doing it for me, but on a slightly related note, I saw the entire stock of Barbie merchandise on clearance at Walgreen's so if you were holding out and wanted something go check your stores!

DeleteThere are Orly nail polishes as well - I saw them at my local Wags tonight. My store had three standalone polishes and three 4 packs of mini polishes. Let me know if you want the picture I took.

ReplyDeleteI'm awfully disappointed in the Catwoman make up bags. Harley gets a very good sized and vibrant bag and Batgirl gets her mask as a bag. Catwoman's looks so plain :(
ReplyDeleteI got the Catwoman brush set last night and they are great! I plan on getting the Harley brush set and bag along with the eyeshadow shimmer. If I get anything else from this collection, it'll be an impulse buy. Unfortunately, everything else I can't see matching with my skin tone very well without me looking like a clown.
anyone know if these are cruelty free? markwins is but I'm not sure if this was made by them.
ReplyDeleteThe highlighter stick and the blush/highlight/contour set look a lot like previous Wet n Wild products...remember the Silver Lake 2015 Blush and Go Trios? I had to Google it, I knew it reminded me of something!

ReplyDeleteThey also have a Harley Quinn eyeshadow book! It's gorgeous and the shadows are so nice for the price �� It comes with 9 shadows, an eyeshadow brush, a blush and a bronzer, a lipgloss and an eyeliner! Is there a way I can send you a picture of it? It's wonderful ��❤️

ReplyDeleteIn my opinion the eyeshadow books suck. I got all 4 and they are not even pigmented. Each book has one or two eyeshadow pans that are ok with pigmentation while the rest suck... they are nice to add to ur collection but thats about it

ReplyDeleteThe Catwoman Beauty Book has a lipgloss in there that's basically a lip paint. I went to wash my hands and the swatch of the lipgloss didn't come off. I washed a few more times and it still wouldn't come off except the very edges. And then I used cold cream on it and it was a chore trying to rub it off, but it finally came off with that. It's also an almost opaque, slightly shimmery red, so... Wow. It's almost terrifying in how hard it was to get it off.

ReplyDeleteJut got all 3 Orly Nail polish sets for less than $4 each and the Harley shimmer wyeshadow, batgirl face and body illuminator and catwoman highlighter stick for .75¢ each! Going to another Walgreens tomorrow to hopefully find the rest marked down!
