I've been covering this semi-annual event for several years now, so I'm a little sad that this is the very last one ever. Why? Well if you missed my post a while back, Walgreens (owners of Beauty.com and Drugstore.com) is shutting down both Beauty.com and Drugstore.com at the end of September.
So this is truly the last Beauty.com F&F sale ever.
Now through 9/4, receive 25% off sitewide and 20% off NARS and Kate Somerville (the only exclusion to this event is Paula's Choice). So the 25% off discount applies to Urban Decay, Tarte, IT Cosmetics, Jouer and much, much more. See all brands HERE.
HOW TO GET THE DISCOUNT: you must click through a unique link that Beauty.com sent to registered customers via email this week. If you did NOT receive an email with a link this week, you can try signing into your Beauty.com/Drugstore.com account and then go to the Drugstore.com website HERE. Hopefully, once you're signed into your account, you will see this:
UPDATE: Thanks so much to reader Heather for the tip that she was able to chat with a Beauty.com advisor HERE and they gave her a link to access the discount.
UPDATE #2: Thanks to reader floweringfield for the tip that after she joined the Beauty.com email list (which you can do from the homepage; if you are already on the list, try signing up with a different email account) and when she logged onto the site, she saw a banner to activate the discount on the right hand side of the homepage. When she clicked it, her discount was activated. Also, thanks to reader rennie for the tip that opening an incognito browser windo and going to Drugstore.com worked for her and she was able to see the banner to activate the discount. So try right-clicking on this link and select "open link and incognito window" and hopefully that works!
Remember that both sites share a cart, so your purchases from Beauty.com and Drugstore.com will combine to get you to the $35 free shipping threshold. Also, I believe that this discount also applies to items on the Beauty.com beauty clearance page HERE (that page is still worth checking out even if you didn't get the discount link).

Thanks so much to everyone who let me know that this sale was live!
I can't seem to make it work. (Not your fault.) I never got an email but I think maybe I wasn't on their list (even though I buy from them a couple of times a year).
ReplyDeleteCheck out Heather's comment below and definitely give that a shot! :D
DeleteTried everything suggested below (in a few different browsers) and none of it worked. I got their attention on Twitter but their solution was to suggest I go ahead and place the order and they'd offer me a refund, which is not going to work for me.
DeleteProbably a sign I didn't need to order in the first place.
I finally did get it to work in Internet Explorer, but by that time, my level of enthusiasm had died down. I have $3 in drugstore.com dollars to spend but I kind of don't care at this point.
DeleteI didn't get the email, but I chatted with a Beauty.com advisor and she gave me a link to access the code.
ReplyDeleteEXCELLENT! Thank you so much for sharing that with us, Heather! Will update my post! xo
DeleteI just tried speaking with a Beauty.com adviser and got shut down completely. They were very unhelpful.... don't know if I should try again.
Deletei couldn't even get in the chat room. after being number 1 on queue for 5 min it just says no available agent and kicked me out,
Deletejust chatted with a beauty.com adviser. she said i was doing everything correctly (had to be beauty.com and in stock items, with no promos other than free shipping). she said to call for immediate assistance, or place the order and then email them requested a 25% refund for eligible items. i asked for a direct link and she said she was unable to do that.
DeleteI chatted with with someone and she completely lied and said that they don't have any links for the discount but that if I ordered that they could give me the 25% back. Which I find extremely sketchy!
DeleteIf anyone use Ebates, Beauty.com also has a 4% rebate right now.
ReplyDeleteYeah same here. I had to make a new account because I couldn't remember what email I used for my old one and the lady told me she couldn't discuss the issue for privacy reasons and I'd have to call their phones. But that their phones were busy so she didn't recommend it.
ReplyDeleteWaiting for you to post this deal, glad I did because the 25% off extra worked w/ the shadow shields in the clearance section . Lets not forget free 2 day shipping with shop runner with purchases over $25.
ReplyDeleteYay!!! So glad you were able to snag those at a great price, girlie! xo
DeleteOh Wow I would love to try those shadow shields. I get the emails from Drugstore.com. So I will have to check that out. I was just looking at those on IG the other day. I can do bottom lash mascara to save my life. And the Elf shield is very awkward. Thank so much for posting that.
DeleteIt works on Clearance, as well!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I received JACK BLACK - Jack Blk Body-Building Hair Gel, Complimentary Gift with Purchase - 1.5 oz if your purchase is above $15, one per account! :) $9 value
ReplyDeleteLive chat was worthless to me. I waited all that time and then they cancelled it while suggesting I email them.
ReplyDeleteAfter I joined their email list and logged onto the site, in the right hand side of page among all the ads was a link to the 25% off friends and family sale. The link worked and now whatever I place in my cart is discounted, including clearance items. Thought this might help someone.
ReplyDeleteFYI. Opening a incognito browser and go to drugstore.com seems to have good luck getting the 25% coupon ad.
ReplyDeleteThis method actually worked wonder for me! I opened an incognito browser, logged into drugstore.com & it worked! Thank you
DeleteHey everyone! Thanks for all of the fantastic tips! I just updated my post (again) with this info. Hopefully ONE of these ways will get you all the discount! xo
ReplyDeleteThe link finally popped up when I switched to the Drugstore side. Thanks, ladies and G!
ReplyDeleteSo I had an item from Beauty.com in my cart, and it showed the 25% discount. But then when I went to the drugstore.com tab/site to add more to my cart to qualify for free shipping, it took away the Beauty.com discount. I'm not sure if I perhaps did something wrong - maybe it works if you do it in reverse and add drugstore.com things first then Beauty.com sale stuff?? Anyway, just thought I'd let you know!
ReplyDeleteGot the promo to display on the website after using incognito in IE... it said to click through to use the promo... I logged in, and got the message below. Considering I have ordered from them in the past, I would consider myself "friends & family" - especially moreso when logged in versus not. They REALLY don't want to make this easy.
ReplyDeleteSorry
Thanks for your interest in this special offer.
Unfortunately, this special offer is only available to selected customers of the Beauty.com store. If you believe you have reached this message in error, please sign in to your account and try hitting this page again.
ok i was FINALLY able to place an order and get the f&f 25% off; however, i had to create a new account. if i logged in to my account, the promo disappeared from the cart. this makes no sense but discounted prestige makeup is worth the effort ;)
ReplyDeleteI used the chat feature to talk to a beauty advisor and she wouldn't give me the code :(
ReplyDeleteFinally got it to work by switching to the Drugstore side. Now to decide what to buy. Something I don't actually need like the Naked Foundation or Naked 2 palette? or something I "need" like a back up of Nars Radiant Concealer...decisions decisions!
ReplyDeleteJust and FYI...I placed an order on Monday and clicked on the "18% off orders of $88 or more" link through ebates, and that deal did stack on top of the Nars 20% off, but not the 25% off stuff. Not sure if this was a glitch or if it's still working, but if you're ordering only Nars products, it's worth a try. Happy Saving!
ReplyDeleteIf the discount disappears, restart your computer!
ReplyDeletePLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE EBATES DISCOUNT WON'T WORK WITH THE 25% OFF DISCOUNT! IT'S ONE OR THE OTHER SADLY.
ReplyDeleteOpening an "in private browsing" in Explorer and following those steps worked for me! In my case, the big banner (that you show on this post) popped up before I was even logged in (figures!). THANKS so much for this information!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFYI for everyone....you can always clear your browsing history in settings to refresh the page and get the link to the 25% savings via Beauty.com. Also be aware that Beauty.com/Drugstore.com are having difficulties processing payment via Paypal if you are using that method of payment. Thankfully, Paypal cancelled my order and I can use a credit card but Paypal told me that they have received many, many calls today regarding Beauty.com.
ReplyDeleteYessssss finally got it to work. I reset my password (I haven't bought from drugstore.com in years), went to drugstore.com, requested desktop site (I am on my phone) and the link to redeem the 25 percent off was on the lower left hand side, I clicked and it took me to beauty.com and now the discount is working when I add things to my cart! The reset password email did take a few hours to come through tho
ReplyDeleteNone of the options listed worked for me HOWEVER i did put some Nars in my cart and when i hit checkout, a discount is reflected so maybe test out that.
ReplyDeleteI have a question though: How do i see if i have any Drugstore dollars? I don't think i noticed until now: the site is NOT user friendly.
They'll show up in your cart automatically if you have them.
DeleteYou can check to see if you have drugstore dollars by logging into your account at drugstore.com (or beauty.com) and clicking on "account" up at the middle/top of the screen.
ReplyDeleteI was able to get the promo yesterday using internet explorer as my browser (private browsing window).
