New from e.l.f.: Beautifully Precise Collection (Brushes Coming Soon)

Just in case you didn't get the email from e.l.f., they have released a new collection of beauty tools HERE called the Beautifully Precise collection. And new BRUSHES are coming soon!

Prices of the products in this collection range from $5 - $12, which is a bit higher than I expected. But if these are truly "premium tools" then I think those prices are quite competitive to other products on the market. I don't know about you, but I can't wait to see the brushes in this new collection. Thoughts?

  1. Wow. I'm ready to try that makeup sponge. I hope that it's a close dupe for the beauty blender.

    1. Oh wouldn't that be nice? I have about five back-up beautyblenders right now from all the various sales and value sets I've been posting about over the past year or so, so I haven't even tried the Real Techniques sponge yet (which I hear is the closest drugstore dupe). But AFTER that, I want to try this one! ;)

    2. I actually prefer the Real Techniques sponge, but that could be because I used that one before getting a Beauty Blender :)

  2. A glass file?! Oooooh, I'm so impressed! Hopefully it's quality, where the glass is etched instead of the texture being sprayed on. There isn't much selection for glass files, if any, in most stores. Hopefully this will make them more accessible to people.

  4. While $12 might be a little high compared to what we usually expect from E.L.F., I think that a little comparison shopping will make it obvious how good some of these prices actually are. I bought the Sephora brand 3-in-1 extractor (my boyfriend had a HORRIBLE reaction to the fabric they use for new uniforms at his store) and managed to get it at a similar price only because it was mismarked and the store honored the sign.

Normally, their extractor is $23 --nearly double what E.L.F. is asking. If they're comparable quality, that price is a STEAL.

  6. I just got a pile of sponges from Wish, and they are probably twice as firm as my Beauty Blender. But they match my current favorite larger sized sponge, so I'm curious about the ELF ones. I'm also very interested in the crystal file, since I accidentally stepped on one of mine and it snapped. :(

But I am very interested in the brushes. I'm still trying to find a new eyeshadow brush. And my ELF blending brush is one of my very favorite brushes. :)
