The Lipstick League Question of the Week
Name the beauty item that you are currently reaching for most.
G's answer: lately I've been loving my NYX Translucent HD Finishing Powder (pressed). I don't like to use it on my entire face because it doesn't control oil on my super oily T-zone, however I LOVE it as a setting powder for under-eye concealer. It makes that whole region look so smooth and it helps keep my concealer from settling into fine lines, doesn't change the color of my concealer, and it really makes things stay put. I also love that it's a pressed powder, because powders like this that are loose can be such a mess. I love it more than my e.l.f. Perfect Finish HD Powder, which is also pressed. The NYX just performs much better on the undereye area for me personally.

EauMG is Currently Craving: Giorgio Armani Si Rose Signature. This sweet rose perfume keeps getting me compliments everywhere I go! This newest flanker is fruitier than the original and reminds me of a chilled rosé wine. I need a bottle for summer.
The thing that is most consistent for me has been Kat Von D Eye Tatoo eyeliner. It just goes on so smoothly and I can do a thin line or thicken it up easily. Dries so fast too!
ReplyDeleteIf you like that one, try the PF eyebooster. I swear, its exactly the same. Both made in Korea, both have a brush rather than a felt tip. I get the PF one for next to nothing after coupons and extra bucks at CVS.
DeleteWill put it on my radar! Better than $19 a pop!
DeleteRobin I TOTALLY agree with Randi. I reviewed this liner a while back and if you missed it, the staying power is CRAZY good, plus it's a deep, pigmented black and the applicator is quite similar to the KVD. Check this out:

My Sephora Full Action mascara. I am using it exclusively as I am trying to purge non cruelty free items from my collection.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to use up one product at a time because I have sooooo many. I'm using the kat von d eyebrow marker. Its exactly like the tattoo eyeliner but its for eyebrows. Don't even know if they make it anymore. It came in the brow kit I bought in November from Sephora. I'm not a huge fan, but I want to get rid of it. Its lasted forever.
