Which shower gels/body washes/soaps are currently in your shower?
Bath & Body Works shower gels (all are discontinued/limited edition/no longer available):
Strawberry Sparkles
Bourbon & Strawberry Vanilla
Snowkissed Sugar
Frosted Wonderland
Other body washes:
Suave Almond Verbena
Dove Pistachio Cream with Magnolia
Caress Emerald Rush
Carol's Daughter Almond Cookie
Dr. Bronner's liquid soap in Citrus
Fresh Sugar Lychee Body Wash (a splurge that I make about once a year; I've been a fan of this body wash for close to 15 years now)
Biore Body Deli Peach & Rose Dense Foam Body Wash (this is a Japanese product. I bought it locally for less than what it costs on Amazon. I love Biore body washes and I don't know why they don't sell them in US drugstores--I really feel like they'd be a hit here.)
Bar soaps:
Herbivore Pink Clay Cleansing Bar Soap (I use this for face only; see my review here)
Dove Sensitive Skin Bar Soap
Mr. G's stuff:
Jack Black Turbo Body Bar Scrubbing Soap (I bought this on a whim for Mr. G a while back and it has become his holy grail bar soap. He LOVES this soap. Before this, he was an "I'll use whatever you put in front of me" kind of guy. But there's something about this soap that makes him crazy; it does smell pretty amazing and I love the lather, but he's oddly fanatical about it. On a purely selfish note, I kind of love that he "needs" it in his life because, when he runs out, it gives me an excuse to place another Sephora order. Sad but true.)

Yardley English Lavender and 2 from The Body Shop in Peach and Shea Butter
ReplyDeleteI loooove Yardley bar soaps! Your comment just reminded me to use some that I've had in my stash for a few months. Thank you! :D
DeleteAmazing Grace and Fresh Cream by Philosophy.
ReplyDeleteI looooove Philosophy Fresh Cream. I have it in the perfume but I'm sad that it's so fleeting on me (30 min after I apply it, it's gone). How is it in body wash? Is it a light scent or can you get a nice whiff of it when you're using it in the shower? Thanks! :D
DeleteI'm not a body wash kinda gal, my wife is and currently has the disgusting red body wash from caress in the shower. It scares me when it comes out of the bottle. I prefer good old fashioned dial soap. I don't like using body wash on "ladytown". LOL.
ReplyDeleteAwww, I like that Caress body wash! lol. ANYWAY, yeah, I never, ever use body wash "down there." I don't know if you were a reader when I did a Wednesday Question about which cleansers readers use for "ladytown" but it was a great discussion. I use Dove sensitive bar soap and always have. It works for me and I never waiver. I was even going to specify that in my list above, but I thought it might TMI since we already had the discussion a while back. lol!
DeleteNo, I was not a reader back then. Do you remember the date because I'd love the read the responses. To clarify, that caress wash smells nice, but the red color is scary. I also do not find it reactivates the scent thru the day.
DeleteRight now I have Bath and Body Twisted Peppermint and is there year round. Frosted Winter Wood, Softsoap Luminous Oil in Macadamia Nut and Peony which is a real disappointment. Also Vitabath Wild Red Cherry! Yum!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Twilight woods for me.
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm using a bar of Sappo Hill Soapworks unscented soap. I can't use anything scented on my skin unless I want to be itch city. I do use the BBW shower gels as bubble bath, since I always shower after taking a hot, relaxing epsom salt bath. My skin doesn't get irritated that way. I really miss when I could use scented bodywash. I used to LOVE DHC Mild Body Shampoo, it had such a light, fresh scent and never left me feeling dry. I don't know if the formula is the same after all these years though.
ReplyDeleteI'm using the Nivea serenity body wash right now, but the jury is still out as to whether I like it or not
