The new Too Faced Peanut Butter & Jelly Palette ($36) was released online exclusively at Ulta today, but only available to Platinum members. HOWEVER, I am not Platinum and I was able to successfully add it to my cart (I couldn't help but try)! So if you've been wanting it, CLICK HERE and try adding to your cart. Wow! I thought I would have to wait until Sunday to purchase this since that was the date on the Ulta website, but I hopped on and was able to purchase it using your link... I'm not Platinum either ;)

I was so excited to be up early this a.m., I jumped right on the early access. I was able to use my birthday $10 off discount.

I am a platinum member until 2017 and I was not able to purchase it! What is the point in being a Platinum member if people who are not were able to purchase this item under the EXCLUSIVE privledge for Platinum Members!

I contacted ulta about this problem and they sent me a $10 gift card because I didn't receive the email and am also platinum through 2017.

Ulta usually only releases enough for platinum members during early releases. So, giving out the link intended for platinum members to non-platinum members only prevents those who paid for and earned to privilige to not be able to reap the benefits. I know it is ultimately Ulta's responsibility to restrict who can purchase during early releases, but it is also our responsibility to respect it. I am pretty sure that when it launches for everyone, there will be many more available online and in stores. (Love your blog, but wish you had not posted this. I was lucky enough to get a palette, but many weren't)
I tend to agree with you. One perk of being Platinum (or a Sephora VIBR/VIB) is the ability to buy things before they are released to the general public. It really isn't fair for people who aren't at this level to take advantage of this perk. Perhaps Ulta will cancel the non Platinum orders, perhaps they will honor them. But next time, let's think about the Platinum members before ordering during times that are meant especially for them.
I am also in agreement with you all. Not that I wouldn't wish sales, and availability to other shoopers. No ill will. Just think that it you have become a platinum member, and/or VIBR those are the products that were available to us.

I still have yet to get this palette, but I am so excited for it! Love Too Faced eyeshadows, they are some amazing shadows on the market...... Ans who can pass up a palette that smells like peanut butter!!!
