Sneak Peek: Real Techniques 2016 Products

Thanks so much to reader Sasha for this tip! Real Techniques has posted sneak peek listings on their website for some new 2016 products that are coming in January, and it looks like the Pixiwoo Sisters are bringing us some very exciting products for the new year. Check this out:

New Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Palette (price not revealed)

Cleans brushes 55% better.*
Great makeup application starts with a clean brush. The brush cleansing palette helps sweep away makeup, oil, and impurities from bristles to give you truer, more consistent color application.
*performance-grade silicone: lightweight and ergonomically designed to fit comfortably over your hand
*exclusive multi-textured surfaces: designed to gently work between the bristles for enhanced deep cleansing
Step 1: Slip hand into the palette and squeeze a drop of our brush cleansing gel onto the tool. Add warm water to the palette.
Step 2: Swirl brush into the gel and water across the various surfaces until the brush is clean. Rinse bristles thoroughly, being careful to not fully immerse the base of the bristles. Squeeze out the excess water.
Step 3: Rest your brushes across the surface of the tool to dry or use the panoramic case from our sets (sold separately) to dry brushes upside down.
* Tested using Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Palette and Brush Cleansing gel versus hand-cleaning with water

In the meantime, what do you think of these new products? Anything in particular catching your eye?

  1. I found the #102 and #203 already for sale on the shelf at both of the Kohls in my area. I bought them both. Very nice. So if you want those two brushes, head to your local Kohls.

  2. I really like that brush cleansing palette. It reminds me of the little tutorial you did, G, with your dollar store silicone textured mat. I'll be curious of the price.

    1. That's what I was thinking. I still haven't found one of those! But boy, these brushes look beautiful!

    2. I never found the silicone mat G told us about either, but on a Korean beauty site I got a silicone hand-held mit that is supposed to do the same job. I haven't tried it yet, but I also found a very delicate silicone scrubber to manually wash my face, which makes me feel like I jumped on the Luna trend. I still have a Clairsonic so I can't justify getting a Luna.

  3. I am signed up to get their emails and saw all the new fun products. I had ordered the LE sculpting set when it first came out from them. I didn't want to miss it and came across it at a good buying time last yr and I love it. It has the sculpting brush, fan brush, and setting brush all in a shiny metal pink. Then I received the liner set that comes in the pouch from a gift from a friend. I have several of their other brushes. But really wanting the the purple eye shadow brush, powder and blush brushes. They also have the duo set of three brushes with white handles on their site. Then I may feel good about my RT coll of brushes. I haven't gotten of the new Metals coll brushes little too high for me. But would love to have them. I really like that brush cleaner mat and brow kit. Just when I think I know what all I want here comes more. Lol But that's ok. Keep coll. My Danes besides Elf brushes. I received three MOTD brushes and they r super nice also. I met her on IG and just a super sweet lady. Love to support women in business as much as I can. If u get a chance check out their brushes. I really like the face and two eye brushes I received. She also has some You Tube videos under MOTD that r very helpful. Would be Great if anyone could show her some love. It's MOTD cosmetics. She was so kind and sweet to me. Have to let everyone know when I find a Great lady working hard and making Great products. It can be a hard Workd and a lot of competition out there. But when someone blesses h so much and so kind and sweet. Why keep it to myself. Thanks G I have spread ur name as far and wide as I can then the other day heard You Tuber mentioning ur blog and how Great it was and how much info u give us and swatches etc. I was like yes that's my go to too. So glad to see others supporting u and learning and getting info from u. Ur the best for all of it out there as far as I'm concerned.

  4. If that brush cleaner is priced right (no more than $15) I'm totally snagging it. The new metal brushes they are doing are gorgeous but look totally impractical for actual use but still, they are so darn pretty!
