When Essence came on my radar a few years ago, I noticed the makeup was made in Germany, I looked at a few of the shadows at Ulta a few weeks ago, and noticed they were made in China. I was sad about that. I just sent Catrice an email asking where the makeup was made.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info--I hadn't noticed that. If I find out about Catrice (hoping to buy some products soon) I'll be sure to include country of origin in my reviews (I always do). I don't have an issue with products made in China when I know and trust the company (Too Faced, Wet n Wild, e.l.f., etc.) but I understand that not everyone feels that way! :)
DeleteHey Randi, I have some Catrice matt velvet eyeshadows, and they all say made in Italy, not sure if all their products are currently manufactured in Italy but the ones I own were. I hope this helps
DeleteYes! I noticed that as well, that many items were made in European countries but now has gone to China. I prefer Germany & Italy, as their standards are more ethical.
DeleteThanks D.A. . I wonder if the stores are carrying catrice?
DeleteI love this post even though I don't have anyone to buy any makeup for. Lol.
