NEW e.l.f. Clay Eyeshadow Palette in Necessary Nudes
Coming this December
So e.l.f. just posted the above sneak peek on their Instagram page of one of their new Clay Eyeshadow Palettes, available on the e.l.f. website this December. The palette above is called Necessary Nudes (no price given).
When I saw that these were called "Clay Eyeshadow Palettes," my dupe-loving mind immediately said, "Tarte dupes?" Who knows, but I love anything containing clay (so great for oily skin), so I cannot wait to try these. Thoughts?
Yes, I def want to try.
ReplyDeleteMe too! :)
DeleteThis looks so good.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! Here's hoping they have excellent pigmentation! :)
DeleteELF is killing the makeup game recently. Looks great
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. I basically find myself wanting every single new product they release these days. *shakes fist at elf* lol.
DeleteI really want to try them, but quite honestly, I'm tired of being disappointed by their eyeshadows. No matter how good the reviews are, so far they have not worked for me as far as pigmentation goes. :(
ReplyDeleteI second this. I've tried with and without primers, dry, wet, etc. I just don't get the results that others rave about.
DeleteI do look forward to hearing about other's experience, though.
I THIRD this! I didn't think I had that high of standard but apparently I do. They simply are too chalky period.
DeleteTry the Prism palettes. I have the one in Naked and I absolutely love it. I'm really picky with eyeshadow (makeup in general, actually) and I really like them. They also have $2 eyeshadow palettes (I have the one called 'Beautiful Browns') that are surprisingly very good. I never use a primer, I just apply concealer to my eyelids and then set it with a face powder. It's a great canvas for shadows. Have you tried that technique?
DeleteI will be buying all of these as soon as they're up in December!
ReplyDeleteI have oily skin too so I'm excited to try this and I love the color palette. I noticed on their website at the 4 pan illuminator is available again hourglass dube? ) Did you review it and I missed it?
ReplyDeleteYeah ... so if they would stop coming out with new stuff right after I do a big haul ... that would be great ... ;D
ReplyDeleteLooks nice
ReplyDeleteCLAY could be just kaolin clay, which enhances adhesion and blend ability. Great ingredient but already in many eyeshadows. So nothing new, but maybe a much better formulation ? Would be interested to know what kind of clay and where in the ING list it is.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I'm interested in knowing. I don't know what voodoo magic everybody else has going to get their elf to pop but no matter; eye shadow primer, eye shadow base it doesn't deliver for me.
