New e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator flavors: Sweet Cherry, Mint Maniac
(retail: $3 each)
If you love the original e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator, then I have exciting news for you today! Thanks so much to longtime reader Heather (@aitch77 on Twitter) for letting me know that e.l.f. has just released two new Lip Exfoliator flavors: Sweet Cherry and Mint Maniac. Both are available for purchase now on the e.l.f. website, in addition to the original version.
I hope these start to pop up at Target, Walmart, CVS, Kmart, etc. soon. I think I kind of need to try both. How about you?
Thanks again, Heather, for the awesome tip!
I am really pumped to try this. I love the original
ReplyDeleteThis is an excellent product. Less messy than a loose sugar scrub. Works well for winter flakey lips. I give these away as gifts because everyone should have one.
ReplyDeleteI love e.l.f.'s lip scrub & I have to get these new flavors. So many new e.l.f. products to try!
ReplyDeleteThe original one feels like rubbing sandpaper on my lips. Ouch
ReplyDeleteI so agree. I hate it.
DeleteSame here. I was going to ask if anyone else had the same experience. I use an Avon lip exfoliater in a lipstick style and it is very easy to use, glides on well and still does it's job without being horribly, painfully gritty.
DeleteI agree. It does hurt. Maybe I'm using it wrong. idk
DeleteGenerally, I recommend applying a thin layer of lip balm and then running the tube over your lips. It's not ideal, but for the price, I'm happy to use a little lip balm underneath.
DeleteI like the original one so far. Less of a mess and quick to use. It can be a bit rough so I like to wet my lips first or put a light layer of lip balm before exfoliating.
ReplyDeleteBut the bullet of my tube has been really wobbly unlike my first one. I even left it in my fridge for hours, but it still is unstable. :/
i got the regular one today at Walmart and then got pumpkin pie chapstick to put on after using it. I liked it.

I agree I live to use and then my Pumpkin Pie Chapstick. That I hit for 25 cents a tube at my Ealmart. I couldn't believe the price. Cake batter that is a perm one is Greag also. My teen son loves that one.
DeleteI watched a video just last nite of a lot o Elfs new products from Emilynoel. And so many Great things they have come out with. She had a lot of great reviews on new products. I can't wait to be able to place an order as soon as possible. I already love a lot of Elfs products. But she had a lot of good things to say about the products. I really noticed the new lip balms and how much color they have to them. I want them all and they just added new ones. Way to go Elf. So excited to add a lot more of Elf to my collection.
DeleteI actually have multiples of the original. I keep one at home and one at work. Now I can buy a flavoured one to keep in my bag! Can't wait. For the price, it's the best exfoliator I've found
ReplyDeleteI love the original flavor and have been using almost daily. I'll be looking for the mint flavor it sounds refreshing! I'm loving the fact that it works so well and is so easy to use. Can't beat the price either!
ReplyDeleteI'll probably get both of these when I make my annual large makeup order at tax time.
ReplyDeleteI find that a muslin cloth (I use the facial cleansing ones from Liz Earle) works much better than any lip scrub! (And better than most facial scrubs too. Although I do like the Dermalogica microfoliant.)
ReplyDeleteYesss! I love this product and can't wait to try the mint on!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely hoping these end up on the shelves where elf is available! I like the results of the original, but I need to put lip balm on FIRST before I use it (and again when done) because it's so rough and dry. Unless I got a dud?
ReplyDeleteNo, I'm the same way. Put on a layer of lip balm, scrub, put on another layer of lip balm (preferably a more intense one)
ReplyDeleteI love what the original does for my lips however I can't get over the cloyingly sweet smell. I'm so excited to see these new flavors
ReplyDeleteThe cool thing is the bottom pops out with force on the new ones and is a matching lip balm.
