G's answer: I'm absolutely obsessed with this one right now. I've been wearing it all week (even though it's been in the 90s here in San Diego) and I know for a fact I'll continue to wear it through the fall, and winter too.

Guest Post of the Week, as chosen by My Newest Addiction - Anytime I am in a makeup rut I take a look at some of the UH-MAZE-ING makeup looks created by Linda Hallberg. She is a genius, a mastermind and a true artist.
I tend to gravitate mostly toward Chanel No. 5 in fall and winter. I just ordered some perfume oil samples from Etsy, though. I'm hoping to add some new scents to the rotation.

DeleteMy favorite fragrance is the discontinued, 'In Love Again', by Yves Saint Laurent. Goodness, do I love this fragrance! It's a citrus (grapefruit) floral (rose). I have an original bottle (2004), and I think it's starting to turn, so I'm trying to use it up. I have a slightly newer bottle from the rerelease (I think in 2009), so that one is OK.
ReplyDeleteSadly, I don't recall ever sniffing that one (although I do know that many were bummed about its discontinuation!). But I adore rose blends. Your comment reminded me of a fragrance by the natural brand, ShiKai. They had an absolutely gorgeous Apricot Rose lotion and body wash, which I used for like five year straight. I'm STILL bummed they discontinued it a few years ago. Why? Why?!?! Lol!

ReplyDeleteI some times use an indie pumpkin pie scented body oil for fall. It's so yummy! If I don't wear it then I stay with my ever day year round Flower Bomb.
ReplyDeleteDune by Christian Dior! They discontinued it then brought it back. I have some from eBay though. There aren't too many perfumes that I like but this one is very special.
ReplyDeleteFor the fall and winter I use La Vie Est Belle Lancome but I try to use it lightly since the scent is a bit strong. I might add YSL Black Opium to the rotation.
