The Lipstick League Question of the Week
How do you remove your makeup? Traditional makeup removers, cleansing oils, balms, towelettes, natural oils or…?
G's answer: For the longest time, I just used good ol' facial cleanser to remove my makeup. I don't wear waterproof mascara, so it's pretty easy to remove all of my makeup with a regular facial cleanser. For hard-to-remove mascaras or liners, I reach for my faithful CVS oil-free eye makeup remover (dupe for Neutrogena). And on lazy nights, I remove my makeup with my holy grail facial towelettes. But for the past year or two I have really been into cleansing oils (as you know, if you've seen all of my cleansing oil reviews!). Right now I'm testing the newly-reformulated Sephora Cleansing Oil for review, so that's what I'm currently using to remove my makeup. But if I weren't testing that product for review, I would totally be using the Neutrogena Cleansing Oil (which I reviewed here).

Guest Post of the Week, as chosen by Clumps of Mascara - Those OCC Lip Tar RTW lippies are taking the beauty world by storm. I always struggle with wondering how a color will look on me so I’m loving Erica of The Gorgeous Gleam’s swatches. Girlfriend is fierce, isn’t she?
I can only wear waterproof mascara because I have straight lashes so I use the Neutrogena eye makeup remover, I keep trying new eye makeup removers but I always go back to Neutrogena. For my face I use the Simple makeup wipes, they're the best. I want to try the new micellar towelettes from Simple but i stocked up on a sale from a while back and still have a few packs to go through before I need to buy more.
ReplyDeleteI'm mostly using the Body Shop chamomile cleansing butter and oils because I stocked up on it during a past sale. I also have one of their aloe cleansers, but the chamomile is king for now. I first thought they're kind of pricey, but I'm getting a lot of mileage out them.
ReplyDeleteGood ol' baby oil on a wet and squeezed out cotton pad, then I proceed as usual with washing my face.
ReplyDeleteStill doing Garnier cleansing oil. As soon as I empty the bottle I have I want to try Neutrogena next. I feel that a lot of Garnier is wasted because of leaking.
ReplyDeleteIf you've never tried Eclos cleansing oil, it's really nice! $11 at ulta plus you can use coupons on it!
