Today, select Ulta customers received the above email, with a unique offer for a freebie (sorry--you must have received this email to get this deal), but look at the portion of the email next to my arrow. We've been waiting for months now to see where Soap & Glory would end up after their exit from Sephora (remember my blog post all about that here?) and now it's official! Starting Friday (8/7), you'll be able to purchase the full Soap & Glory line on the Ulta website, and the line will be available in-store as well, coming soon.
Keep reading for more info...
Some of you asked me if Ulta will also carry the Soap & Glory makeup line (which is wildly popular in the UK). To that, I can only point you in the direction of the article I quoted here a few months ago, from wwd.com:
"...Soap & Glory is hoping to distribute its color cosmetics line in the U.S. The color now consists of around 30 stockkeeping units. Murphy added that in the U.K., Soap & Glory is the fasted growing color cosmetics brand at Boots."
So it appears that they want to bring the color cosmetics to the US, but I obviously don't know if or when that will happen. So stay tuned on that one!
In the meantime, you can also purchase Soap & Glory online (not the color cosmetics) at Drugstore.com (no surprise there, since Boots Walgreens Alliance owns Soap & Glory and also Drugstore.com).

Also, I want to mention that I do not know yet if Ulta will consider Soap & Glory mass or prestige, meaning I don't know if we'll be able to use Ulta's $3.50 off $10 coupons, etc., toward Soap & Glory products. I'll update this post as soon as the products go live on the Ulta site and I test out the current coupon to see if it's valid.
Thanks so much to those of you who commented here on the blog, on Twitter and on Instagram to let me know about this news. I truly appreciate it!
Today's the 4th, G. Friday's the 7th. 😉
ReplyDeleteAm I missing something or is tomorrow 8/5? Slow down, G! ;-)
ReplyDeleteaugust 7 as in on Saturday? tomorrow is the 4th..
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, ladies! I fixed my typo. It should have read FRIDAY, 8/7. Sorry about that!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Ulta is carrying Soap & Glory after Sephora stopped carrying them. I hope they'll bring the Soap n Glory cosmetics soon! I heard so many good reviews around them from UK bloggers and vloggers.
ReplyDeleteThat's good news. Soap & Glory has also been available for a while now in the States (after they left Sephora) at SkinStore.com.
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping they'll carry more of the line than beauty.com does. If the body shop is considered mass, there's no reason s&g shouldn't be.
ReplyDeleteI live in Texas and just found out my local Walgreens is getting a major overhaul and will be carrying a pretty good range of Soap & Glory and long with a fairly extensive line of Boots. Very excited about this as I love S & G
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see it's coming to Ulta, but something tells me it's going to be a 'prestige' item.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand how this brand has jumped from store to store so much... Target, Sephora, now Ulta. Hmm..
ReplyDeleteI wish I had received the coupon just so i could go into my local Ulta and try to use it. I went in last week for my birthday mascara and was told I couldn't have it because it was for birthdays. I kid you not. LOL I stood there like, um? I thought I was being punked. She said I had to have a special coupon. You know, like the one I gave her. CRAZY!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I love Soap & Glory and I do have another normal Ulta I can shop at, so woohoo!
I used a coupon on the Soap & Glory, I hope that helps!
