I've been following Milly Almodovar Thompson (Senior Beauty Editor at Cosmo for Latinas) for quite a while now on social media, and her Instagram pics never disappoint. If you love sneak peeks, definitely follow her at @beautylogicblog on Instagram and spend some time looking through her feed!
Milly kindly let me share this pic with you today of the new Revlon Ultra HD Matte Liquid Lip Colors, which she said are debuting this November in drugstores. I believe these are permanent (not limited edition) and as you can see, there are eight shades in her photo. I'm guessing these set to a matte finish after they dry, which would explain why Milly's swatches look glossy.
Again, the release date for these is November but as we all know, things like this tend to find their way into drugstores earlier than their official release date, so keep your eyes open for them soon.

ReplyDeleteI wonder how long these take to dry if she had the opportunity to swatch all the colors and they all still appear glossy. At any rate, I LOVE Revlon. I can't wait to see these pop up and hopefully before November. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThey don't take long at all... I picked up one tonight & was really happy with the formula. I haven't gotten to try it out for staying power though. They do smell very sweet, so if you don't like that then I'd stay away. Only thing I was a little disappointed with was the color. The one I picked up looked like a mauve shade through the tube, but it's closer to a very pink shade.

ReplyDeleteThese are definitely not a matte lip stick. They're like creamy glosses. They don't set. They're really not matte liquid lipsticks. :(
ReplyDeleteI bought one of the more muted pinks at Rite Aid today and I love it. The color is matte without being flat. I want to go buy more. :) the applicator was nice and the packaging is very cute! It was 9.99 in Va.
ReplyDeleteI just bought one not knowing how the formula would be, but I wish I bought more!!! I love the formula so far! It's a matte color, but it's not drying, which is hard to come by with other matte lip colors. I hope they come out with new more shades though. These are on shelves in RiteAid & as of today (and until Sunday 10/18/15) Revlon products are on sale for 40% off!!! This includes these brand new Ultra HD matte lip colors & their new Ultimate All-in-One mascara.
