Well the wait is finally over. They're here, and so are the new full-coverage, waterproof concealers:

I have to tell you, I was a bit surprised by the prices of the brushes (example: $17 for a fan brush and $9 for an angled brow brush), so I might have to wait for a few reviews to come through before I
pull the trigger on any of those. However, I'm having a hard time resisting those concealers...$6 feels like a nice price-point on those, right?
Thanks so much to reader @rashi on Instagram for letting me know that these were live on the NYX site!
I really can't wait to see reviews on the concealer! Fingers crossed it will be good!
ReplyDeleteI was just going through the site today and it looks like they also added the Hydra Touch Powder Foundation and Be Gone! Lip Color Remover. I hope the remover is a good dupe for Sephora's oil in gel lip color remover, which is awesome but discontinued. :(
ReplyDeleteIf that concealer is truly waterproof, it will answer my prayers. Also, if the brushes end up being fantastic quality, I will def buy them... but it's one of those items that I know I'll wait a year before biting the bullet and going for it. If they end up falling apart with extended use, it's just not worth it. If they can take the abuse of daily usage, and manage to stay in good quality, then there will be nothing to stop me from getting my hands on them!
ReplyDeletewow, I did not expect them to cost that much either. I wonder if Ulta will get them and if they'll be included in the sales. Have you tried Morphe brushes? There is a store in Burbank( if you're ever in the area) and they are so reasonably priced and really good.
ReplyDeleteFor $6 the concealer is going on my hit list! I have been wanting a full coverage one for a good price!
ReplyDeleteUgh that concealer is full of coconut oil, which is bad for breaking me out. And no porcelain shade. Boo
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the concealer. The brushes price shocked me! for that price I'd rather have Sigma brushes with there massive variety of choices.
ReplyDeleteIs it me or is NYX moving away from their price structure?
ReplyDeleteI'm not complaining...but with Morphe and ELF brushes being so good, $10.00 for a blending brush seems excessive to me.
