The new Allure Beauty Box (formerly known as Sample Society) is available for purchase now and the first box will ship on July 1st. THIS IS A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION BOX. As you can see in the photos above, there are some great brands/products featured in this advertisement (Too Faced, Laura Mercier, Zoya, etc.) and in their words, these are "not in puny little sizes." I don't believe these are full-size items though, because here's an excerpt from their FAQs:
What's the difference between the new Allure Beauty Box and the old Allure Sample Society?
You'll still receive five or more deluxe samples that we've curated each month — plus the Allure mini-mag with product reviews and tips to help you get the best results from your samples — for just $15 per month. There will no longer be a $10 gift code for BeautyBar.com included with your box.
IMPORTANT: Before I link to the sign-up page, I want you to be aware that this will be an auto-charge on your credit card each month. You will be charged $15 every month, unless/until you decide to cancel. According to their website, you can cancel at any time. I personally signed up for this beauty box and will post pics and blog about my experience as soon as I receive it, but please note that this is a brand new beauty box, so I have no idea what to expect (I never ordered from Sample Society in the past, so I don't even have any experiences to share with you about that). I am just sharing this info with you in case you want to sign up based on what we DO know. You can sign up for the new Allure Beauty Box HERE and if you have additional questions, there's an FAQ link right on the homepage.
NOTE: According to the website, if you sign up for an entire year ($180) you will get one month free. So it looks like you would be charged once for $165 if you went that route (I didn't sign up for that, so these charges are estimations based on the wording of the offer).
Think you'll give the new Allure Beauty Box a shot? Like I mentioned, I signed up for this box and will post my review of the first box when I get it. And from there, I'll probably give it a few months before I decide if I want to cancel or continue.

According to the site it is 165/yr so your estimation is correct. Just an fyi
ReplyDeleteI had the previous Sample Society. The last couple boxes were just kind of so-so. It seemed like they were just throwing stuff in because they knew they weren't going to be in charge of it anymore. I'm hoping with this new change over that the box gets back to being good!
ReplyDeleteI just signed up. This will be my first beauty box, but I'm hoping since it's their kickoff box that it will be worth it. I've read reviews on the past few months of SS and they were not very good :/
ReplyDeleteI try to stay away from beauty boxes due to the unpredictability factor, but i reaaallly want a too faced melted lippie. So Im wondering if it's worth it to sign up for the first month, and take my chances, since they're trying to make a good impression, and might put bigger brands on their first release, to build up a good fan base.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a while since I've joined a subscription service but I'm considering signing up for one again. This could be a great option depending on how the samples turn out. I look forward to seeing what you receive
