NEW Burt's Bees $10 Moisturization Sampler (for Face, Lips and Body)

Here's a fun little deal that just hit my in-box for all of you Burt's Bees fans:

Right now and while supplies last, you can get this little Moisturization Sampler for face, lips and body for $10 (free shipping on the Burt's Bees site on orders $25+). This set includes a cute tin (you can see what the front of the tin looks like HERE) plus the following products...

• Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream*
• Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser (travel size)
• Intense Hydration Day Lotion (travel size)
• Peppermint & Rosemary Body Wash (travel size)
• Ultra Conditioning Lip Balm with Kokum Butter (full size)

*The tube of Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream is neither full-size nor travel size. It's actually somewhere in-between. The full-size tube is 90g ($13) and the travel size is 10g ($2.49). The tube you will receive in this sampler is 50g.

ALSO: When you buy any 4 single lip balms on the Burt's Bees site right now, you get a 5TH BALM FREE (no code required).

A quick side-note: I had heard some negative reviews of the Kokum Butter lip balm when it first came out, which made me not want to try it. But a little while back, Mr. G mistakenly bought it for me when he saw it at the register at Office Depot. He knew I was looking for a Burt's Bees lip balm--I was actually looking for the Pumpkin Spice one at that time--and he instinctively bought it when he saw "Burt's Bees" and "Lip Balm" (he's super thoughtful like that). So anyway, I of course didn't have the heart to tell him this wasn't the one I was looking for, because I was just so grateful that he'd think of me. And guess what? I really like that Kokum Butter balm! It's a little bit more oily than other BB balms I've owned, but sometimes I like that. Anyway, just wanted to put that out there!

If you've tried any of the products in this tin, I would love to hear from you!

  1. i love the intense hydration day cream. a tiny bit goes a long way too, as in a small pump goes all over my face and neck. i also love the way it smells. but the scent doesn't last too long so if you don't like scented things it fades fairly fast.

    1. I totally agree!!! That clary sage day lotion smells awesome!!! Along with the face i use it as hand and arm lotion. A full size can be expensive but a little does go a long way.

  3. I'm one of those who have had a bad experience with the kokum lip balm...but I will say that perhaps there is a difference between the stick and tube as far as ingredients. I had the tube (liquified version) and it actually made my lips dry out and get peelie. I've noticed this with other balms from other brands and come to the conclusion that it must be the orange oil, as it was the one common ingredient they shared. Surely that won't be the same for everyone, just saying for me personally orange oil seems too astringent for my lips.

  4. My friend recommended the Ultra Conditioning lip balm a few months ago and I am so glad I bought it. I usually have crazy cracked and chapped lips in the fall and winter but I've been putting this on every morning before I do my make-up and every night before I go to bed and I haven't had that problem at all this year! I've never tried the liquid version but I definitely recommend the stick version if you have dry lips!
