NEW Sephora Flash Subscription: Pay $10 and Get Free 2-Day Shipping for One Year

If you're a regular customer of Sephora's website (or perhaps WANT to be but hate shipping fees), you seriously need to know about this! Thanks very much to reader Louryn for sending me a very nice, detailed email about this new program yesterday--I really appreciate that, Louryn!

Meet the new Sephora Flash Subscription program:

In a nutshell, you can now sign up via the Sephora site to receive free, unlimited 2-day shipping for a full year for just $10. Sort of like Amazon Prime, but for much less money! Sounds almost too good to be true, right? But it's not!

Keep reading for more details, links and fine print...

From the Sephora website:

What You Get
- Unlimited, FREE 2-Day Shipping
- No minimum purchase required
- Applies to EVERY order for an entire year
- Need it even faster? Special overnight rate of $5.95.
- VIB Rouge members can enroll in FLASH for FREE (valid for the duration of VIB Rouge status). Sign into your Beauty Insider account before you enroll.

The Details
Some restrictions apply:
- Only available in the Continental US and Puerto Rico.
- Excludes Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses.
- Hazmat items, including aerosols and alcohol-based products, will ship by Ground.

The Fine Print
By signing up for Sephora FLASH, you agree to our terms, conditions, limitations, and requirements. Please read the above Terms carefully.

FLASH Shipping Details
FREE 2-Day shipping on all orders.

To sign up for this program, CLICK HERE. You better believe I'm taking advantage of this. I can't count how many times shipping fees have held me back from placing an order over the years--especially if I'm only wanting one or two small items and am nowhere near meeting the $50 free shipping threshold.  How about you? Do you think you'll sign up for this program?

UPDATE #1: I'm getting feedback on Twitter and Facebook that the link is not working, so I want to be sure you're aware that you need to check the box and agree to Sephora's terms BEFORE they will allow you to add this offer to your cart. If you still cannot access the page, you are probably trying to access it from a mobile device, and apparently there's a glitch. So try googling "Sephora Flash Subscription" from your phone and that should take you to the link that works from mobile devices (thanks to reader Rebecca on Facebook for that tip!).

UPDATE #2: I just subscribed to this program and I want to confirm that when you add this subscription to your cart, you immediately qualify for the free shipping! After I added the subscription to my cart, I then added something else to my cart (well below the regular $50 free shipping threshold) and I received free shipping! So the subscription begins the moment you sign up. Sweet!

  1. The link doesn't appear to work anymore, even when I searched the Sephora website. Was this a limited time offer?

    1. Nope, it's still there! Please read my "update #1" above for some tips about how you can access it--I think the problem is that you're probably trying to access from a mobile device, and there's a glitch with that. Hope that helps!

  3. Bless you for posting this, this is the answer to my prayers tbh. It was costing me a lot buying under the 50 dollars, but I didn't want 50 dollars worth of goods every time either. I hope this works out for them and they keep this system up for good, because the amount of stuff I could buy by only getting one or two things each time would make up for the loss of the shipping charges.

    1. Aaaah, you're so welcome! Glad to help. And yes, I will be much more prone to make purchases now...I can't wait to really get my money's worth on their sale page! Lol!

  4. Sweet! Just got it! I started using MD Solar Sciences moisturizer and it seems to only be available online so this will be great for when I need to order more. I almost thought it was gonna let me add free samples too, but then it had an error at checkout telling me to remove them since I was not buying any merchandise, just the flash subscription. haha. Thanks for sharing this!

  6. I am so happy you were able to sign up G!!! I was lucky enough to be able to subscribe just about when it first came out (August or July 2013) and have made probably 300% more orders than I ever had before... lol!! But I wanted to say, you seem to skip the processing time when you have flash and if you order by their daily cut off time, the shipment really does come in 2 days!! It has been really reliable and so much fun. I was wondering what they were gonna do with the program, because they kept extending my membership (so awesome!!) and it was set to expire February 1st. I just ordered the membership again on my desktop today and it extended thru 2/1/16 :D so they even honored my previous membership timeframe! Just wanted to let you know how reliable the program is and how happy I am for you to have been able to join!!! (i always stalk the Sale section too, lol!)

    1. I just now heard from another reader who signed up for this a few years ago when it was available, like you, and all I have to say is, where the heck was I when this was going on? lol!! Aaah well..better late than never, right? :)

  7. So at first I assumed this meant any and everything they sell ships for free 2 days (per the posted schedule), but after reading the terms & conditions, I assume not everything will be Flash eligible (just like Amazon Prime):

    "Eligible Purchases
Flash membership shipping benefits are limited to certain products sold by Sephora on the Sephora.com US website. Products eligible for inclusion in the Flash program will be designated as eligible on their product pages. .... Certain products may not be entitled to Flash program shipping benefits because of their size, weight, and other shipping requirements such as aerosol products that must be shipped by ground transport, or other limits at our discretion."

    1. Just so you know, I spoke with a reader who signed up for this when it was available a few years ago (just like YakkoJo, who commented above), and the reader I spoke to said she never came across anything that was exempt from free shipping, and she ordered VERY frequently. From what she told me, you still get FREE shipping if you order aerosols, nail polish and things like that...you just don't get the two-day shipping since those products have to ship via ground (which is more than 2 days). Hope that helps!

    2. I was wondering that when I saw YakkoJo's comment, so thank you for the clarification!

So then, it goes back to sounding super amazing and why the heck not!? All I care about is free shipping, less important whether it gets there in two days or not, though that is also awesome. :)

    3. No problem! And hey, even if it turns out that more products are exempt this time around (which I doubt, but you know...), all we have to do is basically order qualifying items twice in one year and we'll at least get our money back! :D

    4. Totally agree - after all, Amazon Prime is $99 and this is $10. I went for it! I will think of you every time I order and see that free shipping.... :D

    5. I second what G said! Every time I ordered something it was free Shipping so minimum, but if the order included something aerosol etc that was restricted and requires ground Shipping, I just wouldn't get the 2 day shipping, it automatically would be ground shipping instead, but still free. I never happened to order something that had to be shipped ground, but the affected items all are clearly labeled before you begin the checkout process, so there are no surprises after you check out :)

    6. Very cool, thank you for the info! After purchasing by itself yesterday, I'm playing with it now in Sephora app, and it says at the top of the basket screen "Enjoy Free Flash Shipping on Every Order". :)

    7. (I should clarify you are also correct that when it is nail polish, it says "Free Ground Shipping")

  8. Darn, I literally just ordered from them on Friday after not purchasing anything from them for a year and a half! Lol, I'm still gonna take advantage of this deal though. Thanks for the heads up!

  11. I heard about this a few months ago but I couldn't find a link and apparently you have to either have someone invite you or be on the wait list so I'm so happy that this worked! Thanks G.

    1. Maybe that was before, but you definitely don't have to be invited now! :D And you're so welcome!

  12. I signed up for this in August of 2014 and still have it! Not sure if it's a glitch or what, but it definitely lasts longer than a year.

  15. Fabulous...it's like they know that when I have free shipping, my brain is like "buy everything from this website because the shipping is free!!!"

  16. Thank you Louryn for telling G, and thank you G for getting the info out to us about this! This is so awesome :)

  17. You can also search for flash shipping in the search bar on he site to access it. I had tried the link in G's post, which didn't work for me...and also googled it & it came up, but when I clicked the link, it just brought up the Sephora main home page...so tried searching it from there & that worked...just fyi in case it isn't working for someone else.

    Thanks G! :)

  18. How long is the order processing time? Do they get it right out to you? When MAC has their free two day shipping deals, I've found them to take up to 2 days to process (or more) then they ship. You're no better off than you were before.

    1. Erin, I placed an order when I subscribed (I bought something in addition to the subscription) and since the subscription takes effect the minute you purchase it, I received my shipping confirmation within two hours! I was so shocked!! I don't know if it's going to be that quick every time, but so far I'm seriously impressed.

    2. But it basically pays for itself in 2-3 orders... Still worth

  19. Does anyone know of an end date for this offer?
