Sneak Peek: NEW e.l.f. Studio Blending Brush

e.l.f. posted a sneak peek of their soon-to-be-released blending brush this morning and, in case you're not on Instagram, I wanted to make sure that you knew about this one! Check it out:

Sneak Peek: e.l.f. Studio Blending Brush

From e.l.f.:
Blending will never be better. The Studio Blending Brush you've been waiting for is coming soon to eyeslipsface.com!

I'm guessing this will retail for $3, like all of the other Studio eyeshadow brushes. Some lovely readers on my Instagram page speculated that this might be a MAC 217 dupe--wouldn't that be great? The MAC 217 will set you back $24, so a nice, comparable $3 option would be awesome. Regardless, I sure hope this eventually makes its way to Target, Kmart, Walmart and wherever else e.l.f. Studio products are sold.

    1. Hahaha I agree. They are awful for that. I just bought a whole bunch of stuff with their birthday sale.

  5. I wish I could love the ELF studio brushes, but they don't seem to pick up much product and when you attempt to blend, it just balls the product up and creates fallout. I think the taklon is too shiny. It needs to be slightly more porous.

    1. Agreed. I've tried and tried but their eye brushes just don't cut it for me. I have better luck with the face ones. The flat top one is often in my daily or weekly rotation.

  6. I hope this is good! I have a mac 217 and was going to spend the money on the sigma dupe but this is a lot cheaper and of it works even half as well I'd be happy!

    1. Instead of Sigma I would get the Bedllium 776 brush. I have the yellow version and I love it. You can get it on Iherb or Amazon. It's $7.92 on Amazon.

  10. I am pleasantly surprised that I actually prefer my E.L.F. studio brushes to the other ones I have! (I don't have any MAC, just can't justify spending that much atm). But I LOVE my E.L.F. brushes! They are really quite good!! I just ordered a couple more, not this one though. In the future I definitely will try it! :) :)

  12. ELF has a blending brush in their Essential (cheaper) line of brushes. It's $1 and I love it, though I've never used any other blending brush. It totally meets my blending needs for neutral, work appropriate eyes, but it might not be the greatest for more dramatic looks. The Essential brushes are generally not that great, but I love the blending brush and the smudge brush from this line. The Studio brushes I've tried have all been excellent, especially the angled blush brush.

  13. It's about time. Can't wait. I hope it's a hybrid between a Sigma E40 and E25.

  14. Just wanted to let you know that I unexpectedly found this brush a few days ago at Marshall's for $2.69!! I haven't used it yet but it seemed quite nice, with very soft bristles. There were a few of these there, so I imagine this could be found at various other Marshall's and TJ Maxx's as well!!! Thanks for all your wonderfull posts, I would have never noticed this otherwise!!!

  15. Is this discontinued? I was hoping to get it today for the 50% off site wide and in the new section, but there was only the crease brush.
Kinda shocked it's gone since it recently just cane out.
