HIGHLIGHTS, TIDBITS AND NEWS
NOTE: If you've been wanting to try those new Rimmel cheek tints that I'm so in love with, there's a $1 off printable Rimmel coupon (link above) that you can use at Walmart or Kmart to bring your cost down to $1.99 (regularly $2.99). I don't think these new blushes have popped up anywhere else (yet) aside from Walmart and Kmart, but you can obviously use that coupon anywhere, on any Rimmel product.
CVS shoppers: 40% off all Physicians Formula cosmetics this week! This would be an excellent time to try some of the new-for-2014 products (I highly recommend the new CC Cream) and it's even better if you can find products that have a $ off coupon or Try Me Free rebate on the box. Just about every lip color (lipsticks, chubby pencils, glosses, stains, etc.) from every brand is BOGO1/2OFF this week, and YOU CAN MIX AND MATCH BETWEEN BRANDS (see details below). Also, NYC and Wet n Wild cosmetics are BOGO1/2OFF this week (this will depend on your region; some stores only carry one or the other while some stores carry both brands).
Rite Aid shoppers: All Wet n Wild products are 40% off this week! Be sure that you look for those $1 off peelie coupons on the new-for-2014 to sweeten this deal even further. For example, if a product you want retails for $2.99, it will be $1.79 after the 40% off deduction. If you have a $1 off coupon, that brings it down to $0.79! There's another great deal on Physicians Formula this week--spend $15 on any PF products and you'll get $10 back in +UP Rewards (limit 2 on this offer). If you can find products that have a $ off coupon or Try Me Free rebate on the box, even better! Also this week, BOGO1/2OFF all Rimmel cosmetics and when you spend $15 you'll get $5+UP. Use the printable coupon (above) and you'l only have to spend $14 to get the $5+UP Rewards. The February Video Values coupons are up (click the "beauty tab") and there are some awesome beauty coupons this month ($4 off 2 Revlon lip cosmetics, $3 off 1 Revlon face cosmetic and more). Remember that you can stack Video Values coupons with manufacturer's coupons for even more savings.
Walgreens shoppers: Hold off on your Sinful Colors purchases this week, nail fanatic. NEXT WEEK (2/16 - 2/22) all Sinful Colors and Sinful Shine polishes will be on sale for $0.99 each (thanks to everyone who took the time to let me know about that one). But THIS week, Wet n Wild products with a regular retail price of $1.99 are on sale for 2/$3. This includes the new Balm Stains and Mega Rocks polishes (see below for a tip on how to make this deal even sweeter). The February Coupon Book is still available (free in stores) and here's the full list of what you can find in this month's book (remember, you can stack these coupons with manufacturer's coupons for more savings). There are some good Revlon and L'Oreal coupons this month!
Reminder: The Walgreens Winter Beauty Event is still underway. Look for this coupon in this week's ad (available in-store):
There is a barcode on the bottom of this coupon (not visible in the image above) that you will need to have the cashier scan on your first beauty purchase (see fine print above to see what's eligible) and you'll also need to have them scan your Balance Rewards card at that time. After that, as long as you use your Balance Rewards card on ALL of your beauty purchases through March 1st, you will rack up 50 points on your card for every $1 spent on the eligible beauty products listed above.
SALES FOR WEEK OF 2/9 - 2/15

Also, you may live in an area that does not run national sales. If you do not see these sales in your area, check with your local store manager for more details.

At my walgreens the wet n wild balm stains had $1 off coupons on them making them 2 for $1.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I actually mention this exact thing in my post above (the Mega Rocks polishes have them too), but I appreciate you taking the time to share! :)
DeleteHey! Thanks so much for these deals! I haven't seen the WNW balm stains at my walgreens but I heard that they were $2.99 each. So if you apply the $1 off it would be $1.99 each and you could get two of them for $3. How were you able to get them both for $1? Please do explain. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteScored two of the Rimmel cheek tints at my local Meijer. Anyone with a Meijer in their area should check there. The display was set to feature all the shades but there were only two when I was there.
ReplyDeleteOmg, how do you now sinfulshine and sinful colors will be $0.99?! I hope it's true I'm plotting to get as many as I possibly can!
ReplyDeleteat my cvs, severel Revlon items had $3 off revlon color cosmetic, so basically $3 off any makeup item from them. I got Lime Basil parfumerie polish for $3 and change that way!
ReplyDeleteI have the $1.00 of Wet n Wild coupon from the Sunday insert. I have used them in the past to get 99 cents products for free (just cost of tax). This time around neither CVS nor Walgreens would accept this coupon. Anyone else with this issue?
ReplyDeleteIf you get something less than a $1 Walgreens needs to adjust the coupon down to $0.99 for it to go through. I don't have a CVS so I don't know their policy and can't help on that one.
DeleteDear Jyl, I have been a fan of your blog since two years now and during this time you have filled my house with beauty goodies. :D
ReplyDeleteI thought I was on a strict no-buy until you wrote about the Sally Beauty red tag clearance sale. Thanks to you, I picked up 16 Finger Paints including the entire Enchanted Winter collection for under 16 dollars (each polish was either 80 cents or 75!). Today I ran to Walgreens after your round-up and picked up 6 WnW Megarocks for 3 dollars and 2 balm stains for a buck. Score Score Score!
Thank you so very much for your time and immense effort to help feed our bargain frenzy. Without you, my life would have been a gazillion goodies short. :D

My rite aid said that the wet and wild is not 40% off. Is this regional. I had a whole basket of stuff and they said no discount so I told them I guessed I wouldn't buy anything.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe this is regional, no. I've checked the ad for several different zip codes and this sale shows up for all of them. I include a link to the weekly ad in my posts so you can check your region's ad--maybe try that and see if it's coming up for your zip code? This sale is part of the Winter Savings Game this week, so I'd be surprised if it wasn't going on nationwide.
DeleteYeah I typed in my zip code 35603. And it's not showing that sale in my area. So sad!
Deletei am SO getting the milani power lip gloss stains! i already have raspberry tart and it's gorgeous <3
ReplyDeleteOoohh, yay! Definately going back to Rite Aid/CVS to splurge... there's always room for more lip stuff and nail polish, right?... and then I might even be able to hit Walgreens next week for SC polish. Yaaayyy....
ReplyDeleteis lumene being bogo 1/2 off at CVS as good as it gets? i've been wanting to try the bb cream but have been waiting for a good sale!
ReplyDeleteWalgreens recently had Lumene bogo free.
DeleteIs it true that only in CVS I can use extra buck for a transition to another deal ? For eg, buy any three Aveeno skincare products to get $10 Extra Bucks, use that $10 on any Maybelline eye cosmetics and get get $3 Extra Bucks and spend that $3 on something else, in conclusion just pay $10 for all of stuff. Can I do that ?
ReplyDeleteThat is exactly correct! And you can stack your Extra Bucks with manufacture's coupons as well at CVS.
DeleteMagic Red Coupon Machine had a $7 Physician's Formula coupon for me, so I got the Shimmer Strips Eyeliner Trio as well as the Classic Nudes shadow pallette. Happy me.
