I don't have much experience with Equate products, but I have heard from many of you over the years who love their makeup remover towelettes and some other products. Are you interested to try these versions of Clinique skincare products? Have you spotted them at your Walmart yet?
Thanks so much, Anu, for the sighting, pic and heads-up about this new line!
It's amazing that they are really such knockoffs and can get away with it? *shrugs* I wonder how they compare!
ReplyDeleteThey compare by the ingredients they use. Read the labels....
DeleteI had been using Clinique moisturizer for years. One day I decided to check out their Equate brand. I was amazed at how good it is. I've never looked back. That's all I use now and it's half the price!
DeleteI can't help but laugh at Strikingly Different.
ReplyDeleteOops. Strikingly Unique.
DeleteMe, too -- that name got a giggle or two out of me this morning as I'm sipping my coffee and reading over my favorite beauty blogger's newest posts!
DeleteI don't have any experience with the Clinique products.. but I've used several of the Equate ones and have found them almost identical to the original product.
ReplyDeleteIf you've never tried any of the original products, how can you find them the Equate ones identical to the original? How does that work??
DeleteJessica, I think Unknown is saying that she has tried Equate versions of products by other brands (Garnier, Olay, etc. for example), not that she tried the Clinique Equate products. :)
Deletewell I've used a number of Equate products and found them to be pretty similar. I love their makeup removal wipes to get my eye makeup off and any leftover traces of foundation. I recently bought the Equate knock off of Head and Shoulders ($3 for big bottle) and found it to work just as well. Too bad my skin does not agree with Clinique items :/
ReplyDeleteIf anyone is interested in a dupe for Clinique Moisture Surge, the Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream for Dry Skin is practically identical-- right down to the color. I'm a huge fan of the texture, but I'm so glad I can pay drugstore prices for it!
ReplyDeleteI love this moisturizer! I have oily skin but it works so well for me during the winter.
DeleteIf they come with something like Moisture Surge or the intense version, I'd try it.
ReplyDeleteGarnier fructis moisture rescue refreshing gel cream for dry skin is a dupe!
DeleteGarnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream for Dry Skin is so close to Clinique moisture surge!
DeleteI've liked all the equate stuff just as much as the name brands that I've tried. I'm so curious about the Clinique dupes, I used to work at Clinique and their Dark spot corrector is the # 1 seller in the world so that would be AWESOME of Walmarts was comparable.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up! I use Clinique skin care but we just had a baby boy & this will help save some $$!
ReplyDeleteI really want to try the dark spot correcter!
ReplyDeleteAre these fragrance free like Clinique?
ReplyDeleteI love the Equate version of the Olay Anti Aging exfoliating cleanser! Top notch and it came in a pump bottle which mate it super convenient to use. I even got the hubby hooked on it! I actually had an esthetician recommend it to me. I hate that I cannot find it anymore :-(
ReplyDeleteHave you heard anything from the new milani baked matte blushes yet? Can't find them anywhere.
ReplyDeleteI wish that I could find these in Indiana,I keep making stops at cvs and have not seen them yet!
DeleteI tried the equate tanning mousse and was shocked it was so good! They have their version of st tropez mousse, lotion,&spray!!!
DeleteI love the Equate verioson of St. Tropez tanning lotion works amazing. They even sell the mitt
ReplyDeletewhich one is this? i so want try!
DeleteHmmm I'm very tempted!! And I think the names are hilarious! :)
ReplyDeleteGirls, I work for Clinique, so I thought this post was interesting. Just keep a few things in mind: Clinique does rigorous testing on their products and everything is tested in a clinical setting which means they have actual proof the products work. Sometimes a copy or "dupe" of something doesn't contain the exact same ingredients and therefore may not work the same as the original. That being said, if you choose to try these products, I hope you would get the same results as Clinique, otherwise you really are just wasting your money. I hope some of these products do work for some people because it would save you money. Just wanted to add my two cents and of course, try and defend my products. Thanks girls ...:D
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that :)
DeleteWell, you can get a discount on those pricey skin care products, we don't....
DeleteI also found some Strivectin dupes on the site
ReplyDeleteI will try that Precision Focus when I find it as its claims are definitely what I need right now. :D
ReplyDeleteI have tried the Equate versions of the Olay 4-in-1 facial clothes and Dove body washes as well as a few other items. They do a good job!
Wow Really? I am addicted to St. Tropez but it is expensive. I'll give WMs version a try. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI can't remember exactly. Between $5 & $8.
DeleteI absolutely love the equate face wipes. They work great.
ReplyDeleteThe equate version of st tropez self tanner is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI looked up the product on walmart website. It lists the ingredients & states the product is hypoAllergenic. I went to cosdna and looked up the ingredients for cliniques version and they appear to have similar ingredients. Alot of department store lines have the same parent company as drugstore lines. I have had great luck with equate. There are a few high end items that I cannot replace with drugstore items-but if I can find something that does the job I want it to do,and can save a little money-i am a happy girl!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very interesting extension for Equate to be forging into. I wonder what else is in the works.
ReplyDeleteI was searching for more info about these products and found your post plagiarized here:
ReplyDeletehttp://fashionraiser.com/spotted-clinique-skincare-dupes-at-walmart/
That's bogus.
DeleteThis is interesting. I've had good luck with Equate's versions of Neutogena and Olay skincare, so I'm definitely game. I had no idea that Equate made Organix dupes. I will have to keep an eye out for those.
ReplyDeleteI love the Equate Advanced Skin Therapy Moisturzier, I wish Walmart would call their brand of cosmetics something else, Equate is a terrible name for H&B items, I know.. who am I to tell Walmart what to do :0
ReplyDeleteI saw the cleanser and toner at my local store. Did not see the serum or moisturizer...
ReplyDeleteJust purchased the mild soap and toning lotion #2 from equate and it literally is identical down to the fragrance - free formulation and the refreshing sensation when lathering onto the face. FANTASTIC Generic counterparts. Well worth the try!
ReplyDeleteThis will be awesome if they're actual dupes! I love the Clinique line and their Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion has been my holy grail since I was in middle school (I'm in my 30s now) when my mom used to buy them in Macy's. It's worth the almost 40 bucks for the big bottle, but if I can find a dupe that is way cheaper...I'll be the first one to run to Walmart! I'm also obsessed with their moisture surge and just ordered 2 of the Garnier dupes so we'll see how that one compares to the original. This Clinique dupes is def worth running to Walmart and checking it out for myself! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI purchased them and I'm very pleased. Clinique is around $50 for each of these. My spots are getting lighter after 4 weeks. Nothing will get rid of them completely but they are fading. The overall look of my skin has improved. The facial soap is really good. Most soap drys my face out so badly that it peels. This really is mild. The serum works well too. I love Clinique but I hate paying $50 for a tiny bit of product.
ReplyDeleteI use them and really like them. I wish they would make a Clinique dupe of Even Better Foundation
ReplyDeleteThey r Michelle I own em both.
DeleteThey do sell the toner in the store! just may not be on the WM website. I'm sure they've done testing to ensure its as close to clinique's as they can get, if not identical. I've seen a documentary in which same kind of products were made at one factory but at the very end, some of the same product received brand name labels and some received store-brand labels. Just businesses trying to compete with marketing and advertisement. Just compare ingredients.
