Coming Soon: Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stains

I got a tweet this morning from my pal Mary over at Body & Soul Beauty alerting me to this one. A blogger in the UK has posted a preview of the new Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stains (gel lip stains) and, well, they look AWESOME! Check them out here. It looks like there are ten shades in the range.

I obviously don't know when these are coming to the US, but they're launching in the UK this July. The blogger received a preview of them while she was in New York, so I'm assuming they'll launch Summer 2014 for the US as well.

Thanks again, Mary, for the heads-up!

  1. Am I the only one that finds 'Moisture Stain' the most unfortunate name for a lipstick, ever? Why not 'Underarm Perspiration Mark'? Or, 'Should have worn your Depends'? I see this is not going to be released until July, maybe someone will convince them to change the name before then.

    1. Ha! I never made the connection, even when I first saw the Le Metier de Beaute Moisture Stain Lipsticks! I think I'm immune to anything that has the word "moisture" in the title at this point (Moisture Surge, Moisture Renew, Moisture Extreme, et al). ;)

    3. I'm with Sassa... that was my first thought too :) 'Moisture stain' sounds like something QUITE undesirable!

  2. Nice! It was only a matter of time before Revlon entered the liquid-lipstick-slash-gloss game.
And I'm glad to see I'm not the only one cringing at "Moisture Stain." That truly is a terrible name!

  4. I already have my eyes set on Parisian Passion. Moisture Stain is a weird name, but it's probably good. Sephora has something like these right now, and it's called Rouge Infusion Lip Ink.

    1. Just an FYI: I have been requested by the owners of Lip-Ink International to state here that Sephora has since changed the name of this product to Sephora Rouge Infusion Lip Stains,

  5. I love lip stains and can't wait till we see these in the states!!! I'm sure we'll lag behind the UK when they get them in July but maybe we'll be seeing these in the US for fall or the holiday season. SUPER COOL and I will be definitely getting some of these! Thanks for the heads up!

  6. I can tell you right now --whatever the product name-- I'm getting "Barcelona Nights". ;-)
