Spotted: NEW L'Oreal Advanced Suncare Silky Sheer BB Face Lotion SPF50+ (and more)

Longtime reader Lisa (@littlemama71 on Instagram) shared with me today a new collection of Silky Sheer suncare items from L'Oreal that she spotted at Shoppers (in Canada) this week. This line is also new to the US but please note that in the US it's under the "Advanced Suncare" umbrella, whereas in Canada (as you'll see in the pics below) this line fall under the "Sublime Sun" umbrella of products.

As you can see above, there are lotions, mousses and sprays in this new line of suncare. But the most interesting products (in my opinion) are these new face lotions:

Reader @coleredd650 on Instagram alerted me to the fact that these new Silky Sheer Face Lotions are already up on the drugstore.com website, so here's a closer look at the US versions:

(retail: $10.99 each, 1.7 oz)

I honestly can't think of another drugstore BB Cream that has an SPF of 50, can you? Here's the ingredient list from drugstore.com:

Active Ingredients: Avobenzone (2.96%), Homosalate (8.78%), Octisalate (4.88%), Octocrylene (5.92%) 

Inactive Ingredients: Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dicaprylyl Ether, Alcohol Denat., Dimethicone, Silica, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, PEG 30 Dipolyhydroxystearate, Cyclohexasiloxane, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Nylon 12, PEG 8 Laurate, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Dodecene, Sodium Chloride, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit Extract, Aluminum Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Iron Oxides, P Anisic Acid, Tocopherol, Disodium EDTA, Poloxamer 407, Disodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Lauryl PEG/PPG 18/18 Methicone, Caprylyl Glycol, Isostearyl Alcohol, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Poly C10 30 Alkyl Acrylate

As you can see, Cyclopentasiloxane (a form of silicone that's the main ingredient in many popular makeup primers such as Benefit The Porefessional, Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, etc.) is also in this product. I'm sure that's what contrubutes to the "silky" feel of this product.
