NEW Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation

Hold the phone! I was just browsing the Rimmel US website and noticed that the much-talked-about Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation is now in America! This foundation has bee out in the UK since August, I believe, and UK bloggers seem to be loving it (click here for a review).

This foundation comes in eight shades here in the US (I don't know how many shades are available in the UK) but I have yet to see it any stores here. Have you??

  1. Those shades look extremely light. Guess I won't be checking this product out.

  2. I have not spotted them in my area (Central California), however, I'm part of Influenster and I know I'll be getting next week to test, so I don't think it will be much longer. I'm super stoked to try it, I've heard a lot of good things.

  3. This is very exciting. I love their Lasting Finish foundation, but this sounds like it could be similar to Revlon's Whipped, but with better packaging and price!

  4. I bought it straight away when it came out here in Australia and i don't really like it. It's really thick and matte. Thicker than Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme foundation. If you have dry skin, it won't work at all. It will highlight all the dry spots you have.

  5. Ooo I want to try this. I used to use their Stay Matte foundation but then I wasn't able to find it anywhere (I think they discontinued the original version?). I haven't been too happy with the substitute that I've been using. Will keep my eyes out for this one.

  6. Hmm, I want to try it cause of the "Matte" & "Shine Control" BUT "Lightweight" I'm not a big fan of. Haha I don't have any imperfections, scars, discoloration, etc. of the skin but I LOVE a full flawless coverage, like a Barbie doll. lol I'll for sure be trying it out though, probably use it on days I don't want much makeup. :)

  7. Ooh! Exciting! I'm glad the range has a lot of light shades (the UK doesn't get much sun so many British people are pale) so I hope the foundation works for me. I do hope you review these; I love your reviews.

  9. I think I saw this at Walgreens last week. I'm waiting to finish up my Garnier BB Cream before trying out another brand. I love Rimmel!

  11. i like their stay matte foundation, but their color selection is so sparse. it's mainly all fair toned with one medium and one dark color (at least in my area). hoping they have a good color match for me in this to try!

    1. No it's not just in your area. The line doesn't seem to include darker foundation shades.
