Spotted: Sinful Colors Halloween 2013 Display

The Sinful Colors Halloween 2013 display has landed at Walgreens! Huge thanks to reader Tracey (@traceyloveslacquer on Instagram) for this sighting. Tracey spotted the giant corner display (that looks like a haunted house!) at her Walgreens this week and shared a ton of pics with us!

Sinful Colors Halloween 2013 display at Walgreens

In the front section of this display, there are nail art stripers in purple, white and black. I thought that the Sinful Colors nail art stripers had been discontinued since they were clearanced out at Rite Aid a while back and many shades can now be found at Dollar Tree. I'm SO glad that Sinful Colors is continuing to release these (even if it's only in limited edition displays) because I think their nail art polishes are fantastic (the ones I own are super opaque and have a nice, workable brush).

Lots of polishes (permanent shades, limited edition repromotes and new shades). More on these in a bit!

More polishes and nail appliques! Tracey was nice enough to give us a good look at the Sinful Colors Halloween Appliques:

And now let's get to these polishes! Tracey shared lots of pics but, in addition to the shades I'm about to show you, she said that the display also contains the standard black and white cremes.

1123 Citrine (limited edition repromote from Spring 2012 Wow Pop Collection)
30 Courtney Orange (permanent)

I know a lot of people are still looking for Citrine, so you've got yet another chance to grab it (you can see my swatches of Citrine here).

 198 Irish Green  (limited edition*)

*Irish Green comes back every year in the annual St. Patrick's Day display (along with Green Ocean).

1139 Faceted
(limited edition repromote from Holiday 2012 Holiday Shimmers Collection)

Check out these swatches of Faceted over at Pretty Girl Science. The iridescent bar glitter looks so cool with a matte top coat. If you missed out on this one last winter, you've got another chance.

1135 Pumpkin Spice
(limited edition repromote from the Halloween 2012 Bewitched Collection)

If you didn't get Pumpkin Spice last year, I just want to let you know that this is a dupe for China Glaze Electrify (from last year's Hunger Games collection). You can see a comparison of the two here.

1353 Glow In The Dark (NEW)

I believe this is the first time Sinful Colors has released a glow-in-the-dark top coat. I'm excited to give this one a whirl.

 1134 Black Magic (NEW)

Another new shade! Here's a photo at a slightly different angle (thanks, Tracey!):

To summarize: Some of the nail art stripers are back, some limited edition shades from past collections are back, and we've got new nail appliques and two new polish shades in this collection. I think that covers it!

Have you spotted this cute little (actually, it's pretty big) haunted house display at your local Walgreens yet? Do you plan to get anything when you find it? I forgot to ask Tracey the prices on the stripers and nail appliques (the polishes are obviously $1.99 each) but I'm assuming they're $1.99 each as well.

Thanks so very much, Tracey, for the awesome pics and info. It is truly appreciated!

  7. I NEED everything Halloween! Definitely need the glow top coat, Black Magic and depending on how they look in person, all the nail appliques-but Trick Or Treat is a must in at least two packs. Those are detailed skulls!

Our Walgreens' never restock limited edition anything so you HAVE to snap them up when you see them. They literally have only what is in the display...unless someone wasn't paying attention. I'll post that over on the 'You tell..." page. Frustrating when you have only two within seventy+ miles and no Rite Aid or CVS.

    Thanks ladies!

  12. I'm going to have to pick up a couple of bottles of Citrine, and probably one of the glow in the dark polish. IF anyone ever gets them here.

  13. 99. Black Magic and Pumpkin Spice got my kitty ears up! I guess I have to find these along with the Fantasymakers stuff when my Walgreens get them on display. :)I remembered the crackle polish that Sinful released last year it was close to $5 for the bottle, that is what the girl told me but charged me for a regular bottle of Sinful. Should try and check your nearby Walgreens if they are charging for $1.

  16. I hit two Walgreens today and neither of them had the display. One locations said they are getting a truck with halloween stuff tomorrow so i guess I'll be stopping in after work. :)

  17. All I'm finding in my area are the smaller versions of this display. It does not have the glow in the dark one nor does it have Citrine! :'(

  18. i found the display today and there is one color that was overlooked.
its called inkwell #1130 and its a vampy plum color. it can easily be overlooked when placed next to the actual black polish in the display.

  20. Picked up The Glow in the Dark, Black magic and both Webs and Trick or Treat. I had no idea they were 3D-the webs have small jewels as well as the skulls!

They were just getting to putting items on the display and my husband was bold enough to begin digging through the box to find a few shades! He looked harder for Black Magic and the Glow than I did.

Still gotta get my hands on Pumpkin Spice!

  22. Oh man...that is a sweet collection. I am totally going on the hunt for these polishes tomorrow!

  23. My local Walgreens had this display, and the "Pumpkin Spice" and "Black Magic" were the only nail polishes that really jumped out at me, so of course I couldn't resist. I also purchased the "Boo" nail appliques; they cost a fraction of other brands I've seen this year, and I've been consistently pleased with the quality of other Sinful Colors purchases. Now I'm ready for "Trick or Treat"!

  24. I bought the glow in the dark and all three of the nail stickers. They were all 1.99 each. The nail stickers are super cute! I hope the application isn't too finicky

  25. My closest Walgreen's had the small counter display when I went 2 weeks ago. I picked up 2 Pumpkin Spice (I was incredibly disappointed last year when I literally searched 3 states and couldn't get my mitts on one) and a bottle of Black Magic. I was in a travelling mood tonight, so I popped over to the next-closest one (which is 24 hours, yay for that!!), where they had the whole display!!! I picked up Citrine, which I have been DYING to find (I actually picked up Clementine one day by mistake, thinking it was Citrine...still very pretty but I was slightly disappointed) and the Glow in the Dark polish. I wasn't too impressed with anything else, particularly the permanent line. But I'm so glad I got all the new ones, plus the hard to find one!

  26. I want the spider one .Because it contains some red lines .I really prefer it !!! And I have bought some props from toyswill.com .Now I just want the spider one !!!!!

  27. I picked up the Black Magic, a few stripers, the nail appliques and a Citrine tonight at my Walgreen's...where they ALL rang up at 2 for 3 dollars with my Walgreen's card! Super excited, that's me. The sale also applied to the Leather Luxe polishes I picked up. I didn't see that they were on sale in the weekend circular but I may have just missed it.
