Essie 2013 Bridal Collection: Using My Maiden Name
There are just four shades in this collection:
Using My Maiden Name (lavender)
Meet Me at the Altar (lilac)
No Baggage Please (pale pink)
My Better Half (dark pink)
Now, this collection might seem a bit dull to some of you, but you MUST see the swatches of Using My Maiden Name because there's gorgeous pink hidden shimmer lurking in this polish! Click here for swatches of all four shades in this collection (there's shimmer in My Better Half too).
Have you spotted this collection at any of your local drugstores yet? Thoughts? I NEED Using My Maiden Name!
Thanks again, Alli, for the great picture. I really appreciate it!
I want them! So much for my no-buy! LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you mentioned how beautiful the swatches were for Using My Maiden Name...I never would have given it a second glance but I'm SO glad I did! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I need Using My Maiden Name too! It is gorgeous and I am slightly obsessed with this bluish-purple color right now.
ReplyDeleteOh how I hope these surface at Target, being I have a Target exclusive coupon to save $2 on any Essie nail polish (exp 5/20). UMMN is soooo pretty!
ReplyDeleteI almost bought Using My Maiden Name the other day! Love that polish!
ReplyDeleteI actually bought baggage please, and it was SUPER SUPER STREAKY, even after three coats It was still streaky not opaque either. When I saw the swatch of it in the store I died in love, but not worth the hype.
ReplyDeleteJust an FYI: it looks like Dermstore has this collection for purchase online with free shipping.

I need Using My Maiden Name. I kept my maiden name, and the colour is inspired by blue hydrangeas, which were my wedding flowers. PERFECT.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how hidden the shimmer is? Does it need the sun/bright lights to show up or would it show up easily indoors as well?
ReplyDeleteI need all of these. I wonder if they're at CVS yet.
ReplyDeleteLove the names!
ReplyDeleteUsing My Maiden Name reminds me a lot of Essie's She's Picture Perfect from last year. I'd love to see a comparison if anyone has both. So pretty and perfect for spring!
ReplyDeleteI just bought Using My Maiden Name at TJ Maxx for $4.99.
