This is just too exciting to save until after the Review Blitz is over, so here you go!
A huge thanks to reader AS for this one! AS just told me that the new Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat Textured Nail Colors are now on the Target website! You can't order them online yet, but there is a store locator.
What's very exciting about this I didn't think the Fuzzy Coats were due in stores until June! There's another line in this collection called Sugar Coat (not yet on the Target website). My pal Mary of Body and Soul has a sneak-peek of both the Fuzzy Coat and Sugar Coat polishes here.
I could be wrong, but it appears that the Fuzzy Coats could be similar to the Nails Inc. Feather Collection polishes (small, matte bar glitter), and the Sugar Coats could be similar to the Zoya Pixie Dust polishes.

In other Sally Hansen news: The new Spring 2013 Insta Dri polishes (Blue Away, Fuchsia Flair, Peach Breeze and Pink Blink) are now available for purchase on the Target website, in case you haven't been able to find them locally.
What do you think of the new Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat polishes? Do you think you'll pick some up when you spot them? Are you excited to see the Sugar Coat polishes when they land in stores? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Thanks again, AS, for the awesome tip about these!
Ugh. I must be the only person in the world that doesn't like textured nail polish. It's not that I don't like the look of it. I hate the FEELING of it. If my nails aren't smooth, I can't stand it. It grosses me out. I can barely stand glitter sometimes. Plus it stags snuff.
ReplyDeleteSeems like only months ago bloggers were complaining about glitters that left a gritty finish, now the polish companies have capitalized on grittiness and bloggers are crazy for it! I really wonder what the next trend is going to be, or have they run out of ideas?
DeleteWhat I like about these (if they're like the Nails Inc Feathers) is that the bar glitter is smaller, and also matte. I'm a sucker for matte glitter.
DeleteSign me up as one of the people who can't stand if my regular nail polish ends up textured (lumpy, indents) because I can't stand how it feels. I think some of these textured polishes *look* nice, but know it would be a waste of money if I ever bought them.
DeleteFuzzy Coats?? They are intriguing but I'll have to wait and see some swatches and reviews.
ReplyDeleteJust seems weird, lol!
ReplyDeleteCurious how it will look since it seems to just be bar glitter. I really hate bar glitter because it's a PITA to get to lay flat and not snag on everything.
ReplyDeleteI don't like textured nails either! Whenever my nails have any kind of little piece on the side by the cuticle that isn't flat, I pick at it. ..... sometimes i don't even realize I'm doing it till it's too late and I've picked off my polish. ....I notice I'm always running my fingers over my nails for something to pick at. ... so if they were textured I'd be picking at them all the time! LoL
ReplyDeleteNot feeling textured polishes. Snags my hair and other crap.
ReplyDeleteall I can think is ewwwwWWWWW!!!! fuzz on my nails?? Fuzz, like MOLD? this was thought up after somebody drank all the koolaid in one go! I am so skeeved out by this.
ReplyDeleteI do not like this textured nail craze, yuk!
ReplyDeleteFuzzy Fantasy and Peach Fuzz !! Ugh, I'm just starting to get into the texture trend, I'm not too sure about this one, but the colors are gorgeous :O!
ReplyDeleteis it just me or does Fuzz-Sea remind anybody else of FLOAM? Is it supposed to be the bar glitter version? I'm intrigued to try them, I never say I hate something before I try it
ReplyDeleteI'm with you 100%
DeleteFloam was the first thing I thought when I saw the pic on my android phone, as well!
DeleteI was excited for a Floam-like polish, but I'd rather it were a round matte glitter.
DeleteFYI: These are NOT available online, I just checked and it says in store only.
ReplyDelete??? If you re-read my post, I didn't say these were available online yet. In the first paragraph of my post I said the following:
Delete"You can't order them online yet, but there is a store locator."
Hope that clears it up!
Oi, please ignore my inability to comprehend simple English. Leave it to me, an avid reader of all your posts to have THIS as my first comment. I went to delete it just a moment later when I realized my mistake. <3
DeleteLiterally last night I was checking out the Nails inc version....so I'm pretty sure I will be stalking these! Love the coral, teal and black!!
ReplyDeleteTweedy looks pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely curious to try these out. I love textured nails. It's the only nail art I don't habitually mess up. Haha!
ReplyDeleteWant, want, want!!!! :-) I love all these bizarre nail polishes.
ReplyDeleteI love textured nails! They're ideal for the lazy girl who wants a nice mani but sucks at painting her nails. You can't mess these babies up and it's wham gorgeous everytime! For these reasons, embracing this trend is easy for tons of people. I can't wait to see these in drugstores. There aren't many Targets in NYC. Excellent catch Gianna as usual!

ReplyDeleteHaha I feel the same way :) personally I really like all these fun textures trending now and wasn't into polishes before so color me jumping on the bandwagon LOL
DeleteI find I don't experience as much in the way of snagging or rough edges after I use a thick gel top coat - like the one Essence makes (or made, I haven't seen it at Ulta since I got mine) - which also makes pretty much every polish last MUCH longer and resist chipping.
I don't like any of these textured polishes, at all. It just allows me to save money for the polishes I really want.
ReplyDeleteWith nail trends coming and going so quickly it is nice to have reasonably priced options. I just may buy one once they hit the brick and mortar stores! This is exciting!
ReplyDeleteI agree. Even if I don't end up loving fuzzy nails (Lol) at least we have options that don't cost an arm and a leg!
DeleteCount me in with those who are not particularly impressed by these. However, I'm glad there are drugstore alternatives to some of the products from high end brands.
ReplyDeleteI was looking at the Nails Inc versions - and the price tag - so I will DEFINITELY be looking SH up at the store. Love the micro bar glitter and matte glitter, so this is a two-fer for me.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to try the light green one!
ReplyDeleteugh I just can't stand bar glitter! I hated it the first time it came around (that I can remember) back in the 80s-90s and this is one trend I really wish would hurry up and die again.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think I'd like the texture polishes, but I did a snakeskin mani (OPI liquid sand with CG Crackle topcoat) and I LOVE IT! It's different and fun and I loved not waiting for the shiny topcoat to dry. I'm looking forward to trying these new ones.
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of this type of texture. When someone says "fuzzy" the first thing I think of is a "flocked" mani, and I realize there are Ciate kits for that, but wouldn't it be cool if there were "flock-textured" polishes? Maybe for a fall/winter line, little fuzzy sweaters for our nails. I do like the color selection.
ReplyDeleteI just saw a kit to make Velvet-textured nails at Rite Aid... seems like more of a fall trend to me and the 4-6 shades they had were all dark. I haven't tried them but your comment kinda reminded me :) I did pick up a set to do ombre-shimmer (silver to black) but haven't played around with it yet.
DeleteI agree with the poster about mold (I think that's what she said).
ReplyDeleteHopefully, this trend will die a quick death, painless or not! I think the polish 'creators' are running out of ideas.
I'm loving textured polishes such as Zoya's PixieDust and OPI's Liquid Sand, but am not a fan of bar glitter. That's OK; I'm glad there are many different finishes!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I'm going to track them all down! I usually hate bar glitter, but these look cute and fun and like they'd make a great accent or gradient! :D
ReplyDeletePS: Love the new layout! I did a double-take when I first clicked over here from my RSS reader because I thought I'd gone to the wrong site! lol
loving your new layout girl!!
ReplyDeleteI don't like how these look in the bottles already. Can't imaging that they will be good on my nails.
ReplyDeleteOf course I'm getting these! Now I'm glad I didn't find the Nails, Inc ones.
ReplyDeleteomg..these look too cute!! Might have to try one or two!! There goes my wallet again G.!!! lol..
ReplyDeleteBlog looks fantastic!!!
xoxo
Ann-Marie
OMG....must have them all ......NOW!!!!
ReplyDeleteMust have NOW!!!!
ReplyDeleteThese look so cute!! Peach fuzz reminds me of the book Fuzzy What Was He!! lol
ReplyDeleteThere's supposedly seven different Fuzzies! I found it out on here:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.allure.com/beauty-trends/blogs/daily-beauty-reporter/2013/04/trying-sally-hansen-fuzzy-coat-nail-polish.html
They put these out at my Duane Reade today -- I think there are eight total. There is a darker blue/white, a sky blue/white, and a blue/white/tan. I have some (ok I have all) of the Nails Inc. Feathers colors and these do appear to be very similar if not the same.
ReplyDeleteI just picked up Fuzz-Sea and these are not really fuzzy or all that textured. They are just matte bar glitter (confetti) in a clear base that give the illusion of being fuzzy. I did 3 pretty thick coats and still didn't get full coverage so I think they would be best layered over and color
ReplyDeleteThese are available at CVS in a special display.
ReplyDeleteI just bought the Wool Lite color of the Fuzzy Coat.... one word.... horrible. It clumps up and looks crazy. I will be returning. It looks nothing like in the magazine. BBC
ReplyDeleteI really like them, but I apply over a similar base color. For example I painted my nails with a base coat of a royal blue by Revlon then two thinnish coats of the S.H. Fuzzy Coat in Tight Knit -a royal blue and white mix. I love the way it looks that way, basically just like the photos on the displays of the polish! Also, get the effect with at least one less coat (I'm also a cheapass, lol) I have not seen any bloggers doing it this way, and I don't know why.
DeleteI personally do not like the look of a contrasting base coat with these specialty polishes. But, it's on your nails, so whatever floats your boat! ;)
