I can't recall another landslide like this in the three years I've been doing these reader polls. Wow! So what's the most popular lipstick texture around here? I think it's pretty obvious...

A whopping 1,280 of you (out of a total of 2,842 votes) chose Creme as your favorite finish when it comes to lipstick. I've gotta say, I was happy to see this because it's my favorite too, and I hope that means that many of you might be happy to see more creme lipstick reviews here on the blog!
I'd say Matte, Satin and Sheer were pretty much tied for second, with Frost coming in last.
So...how do you feel about the results of this poll? Do you agree or disagree? I'd love to hear from you!

ReplyDeleteNO - you are not alone! I love them too!! It is the only kind I wear. I am shocked that only 41 out of 2842 people chose frosts...I LOVE SPARKLES!! However, I exclusively wear long-lasting, no-transfer formulas (especially Cover Girl Outlast.) My HG lip color is CG Outlast Bronze Goddess, which is definitely frosty/shimmery. I wished the long-wearing/dry/no-transfer type of lipstick had been an option in this poll, but at least I could still vote because I ALWAYS pick a frost.

I voted for cream, matte, & sheer. At first I was confused what you meant by "texture" since I've never heard anyone describe it like that! Haha, I normally say "finish", but I'll probably start using texture. Lol. :)

ReplyDeleteI'm another one who prefers matte. They're a 3 in 1. You can use them alone, as a stain, or top them with gloss. Plus they're long wearing any way you use them.
ReplyDeleteCreme is my favorite texture because it's the easiest for me to apply and know that I look good. When I'm out and about i don't want to think too much about my lipcolor. Because my lips dry out easily, I like to apply a creme lippie and/or a lipgloss and keep moving.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see more cream reviews. I personally love lipstick, anyway you use it, but cream is the best for me in terms of slicking on and heading out the door. I don't like to think too much about lip color application when I'm going about my day.
