A huge thanks to two lovely readers for the following info! First of all, thanks to reader Anon for the following photos of the new Wet n Wild Limited Edition Be Jeweled Collection, which she spotted at her local Bartell's (a regional drugstore in the Pacific Northwest). Anon also said these have been spotted recently at Fred Meyer (another regional drugstore chain in the Pacific Northwest). And reader Michelle said they've also been spotted at Meijer (a regional drugstore chain in the Midwest).
A quick FYI: these polishes look to be quite similar to the China Glaze Prismatic Collection polishes, which I believe just released in the US (they're now available on the Sally website). I found a lovely Canadian nail blogger who has swatches of the all China Glaze Prismatic polishes--click here if you'd like to see them.
Another FYI, if these ARE similar to the China Glaze Prismatic polishes, then they are NOT holographic in nature. Rather, they are multi-colored glitters in color-shifting bases, which give them a prismatic look on the nail.

A huge thanks to reader Michelle for additional details about this new collection. Michelle told me that there are five shades in this collection (there are six shades in the China Glaze collection) and the names are: Born into Privilege, Bow in my Presence, Jewels for your Highness, Speak When Spoken To and The Crown Is Mine. The colors are as follows: gold, blue, dark violet purple, magenta and pink (sorry, I'm not exactly sure at this point how the colors match up to the names).
Since Fred Meyer and Meijer seems to get many of the Wet n Wild LE collections ahead of the rest of the chains in the country, I'd say it should be a few more weeks before we start to see this display at other retailers. In the meantime, are you excited to get your hands on any of these new LE polishes?
Another huge thanks to Anon and Michelle for the fantastic info!
Really hope my Walgreens gets these. They had the last LE glitter polishes and I regret not buying more. If not, oh well. I'm done trying track down their LE stuff. Ironically the one store in my are who carries the full WnW line, doesn't get that many of the LE collections. It's very frustrating.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're able to find these! :)
DeleteI'll never see these will I? haha They look awesome though. Keeping my fingers crossed I come across these.
ReplyDeleteNever say never, honey! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. xo
DeletePicked up one of each of these today at Meijer! The display was already pretty sold down, so I felt pretty lucky to be able to get them all.
ReplyDeleteAnd I know it doesn't really matter, but Meijer is a supermarket, not a drugstore. We're lucky here in the Midwest because their prices on cosmetics (and most things, really) are generally lower than most everywhere besides maybe dollar stores. For example, each of these polishes cost me $2.79 even though the display lists $2.99 as it does in the picture above.
A far as I can tell (they look really, really similar to one another in the bottles),
Born into Privilege is gold
Bow in my Presence is blue
Speak When Spoken to is the violet-y purple
The Crown is Mine would be magenta
Jewels for your Highness is pink
Bow in my Presence and Speak When Spoken to look almost the same in the bottles, as do The Crown is Mine and Jewels for your Highness.
Thanks for passing the great info on to us, as always! :)
Thanks so much for clarifying that Meijer is a grocery store, and thanks so very much for all the great info! :)
DeleteMeijer isn't really just a grocery store, either, more a mass merchandise store like Walmart. They sell clothes, electronics, etc. too.
DeleteI will be lucky if they come to my area, but I will keep an eye out for them! lol. My Rite Aid never gets anything, and Walgreens had the last LE collection way late. But, I guess I may get lucky. I will just have to start stalking drugstores on a weekly basis. Will you post if you hear about them anywhere else? I live in the east so I am wondering how long before I could possibly see these.
ReplyDeleteI will definitely post when these have been spotted in other stores! :)
DeleteHum...since you're in the east, I would probably check your local Rite Aids first (I know you said your location doesn't usually get the LEs but it's been my experience that RA gets these a little sooner than Walgreens) and maybe Duane Reade if you're in NYC. Hope you find them soon. :)
My local Walgreen's had better get these! I want these. Nao! :D
ReplyDeleteExciiiiting. Ever since you mentioned these last night and I saw a picture of the display on Steph's Closet I've been dying for more information. Now I have something new to stalk the drugstores for since I got all the new Sinful polishes I wanted last week.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I will definitely be checking my two local Freddy's tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteThis is exciting news! Once again Wet n' Wild has brought another beautiful set of nail polishes! I am not going to stalk my Walgreens this time, because they were so good about having the Ice Baby LE polishes, that I am certain they will have these too.I cannot wait to see how pretty they look!
ReplyDeleteNot only am I going to get these, I'm going to be the Walgreens stalker until they get them in. :)
ReplyDeleteThere were 2 FULL displays at Fred Meyer in Redmond, WA on Saturday. I got the violet-purple one, and it looks best layered over a grey-blue - it make it more opaque.
ReplyDeleteThese look absolutely amazing!!
ReplyDeleteI just bought Bow in my presence and Born into privilege today at Fred Meyer since they had BOGO/half off on all Wet n'Wild cosmetics. I swatched them on my sister's nails but didn't take any pictures before she did her manicure.
ReplyDeleteI'll try and swatch them tomorrow.
Fred Meyer also has the Sinful Colors St. Patrick's day display with Green Ocean.
It seems like most Fred Meyers got rid of their Sinful Colors core collection display and replaced it with a large LA Colors nail display.
I've noticed that Bartell's and Fred Meyer out here in Edmonds will tend to have the LE collections a bit before they hit my local Walgreen's. Don't know why that is - but it's been fairly consistent. Happened with the WnW holiday ColorIcon palettes (the cream/glitter shadows and the baked shadow palettes), the Sally Hansen Mermaid's Cove polishes, the Physician's Formula Happy Booster additions this year...
ReplyDeleteOh man!!! I can only hope that these pop up somewhere in Central NY!!!! I dont have any luck with LE collections of WNW.... HOPE HOPE HOPE is the all I can do while keeping my eyes wide open. I have given up hunting them!!!
ReplyDeleteWANT. Stalking Rite Aid & Duane Reade BIG TIME.
ReplyDeleteSeems like WnW found a new use for their old Mega Last bottles though!
When will these hit the stores on the West Coast? They look pretty!!! =)
ReplyDeleteWill you be making an interactive map for this? I want these BAD!
ReplyDeleteYou read my mind! I have been working on maps for this and the other new LE collection and just posted them. :)
DeleteStill haven't seen these in the Bay Area :(
ReplyDeleteDoes it bother anyone else that they're $2.99 for such a little bottle? I'd love to see a comparison w/the CG colors. I almost feel like it would be a better deal to get those if the colors are close enough
I want to see a comparison, too. I haven't seen one posted anywhere yet. I guess it just depends on how much a person would use the polishes. I probably won't be using glitter polish too much, so I don't mind 2.99 for the smaller bottles. Although, I do think that they should be 1.99 like the rest of the polish, but whatever I suppose. I don't think I will be getting the CG set.
DeleteCheck Scrangie's website. She provided swatches from both collections in different blog posts, and I believe she will try to do a comparison of the bottles side by side later on.
