So I was at a CVS recently that's known for stocking new Orly nail color collections (not all CVS locations carry the new collections, as I'm sure most of you know!) and I finally spotted the Precious Collection that I've heard so much about.
Finally seeing this collection in person, I've got to say, there are at least two shades that I would love to eventually own.

So, polish fans, are you feeling this collection? Do you already own any of these shades? Anything catching your eye? I'm loving Guilded Coral and Royal Velvet.
I have Gilded Coral and it's so pretty! There's a Sally Girl nail color that looks very similar in the bottle but when swatched, they're completely different :(

ReplyDeleteUrban Warrior, give Orly a chance and you'll be pleased. I love Space Cadet, Razzle, and Very Berry so much! Application is pretty easy (Space Cadet was a tad tricky) and the colors are vibrant. Plus it's fairly easy to find at Sally and Ulta. Get a Sally card and get it pretty cheap!

ReplyDeleteI want to get electric pineapple and senorita bonita from the china glaze island escape collection. I havent seen them in sallys yet and the associate didnt know when they would be coming in. I think Ulta might already have this collection but Sally's can be slow to get stuff out. maybe in May it will come out.

ReplyDeleteashwillis83 I was at Sally Hansen yesterday and of course picked up 3bottle of Orly. Not the new collection as the display was completely empty. But I grabbed cotton candy and I was really surprised how thin the brush was and how hard the formula was to work with! UGH! So disappointed. I had to use 3 coats and it was bubbly and streaky. A total mess! I hope Sally beauty takes returns on nail polish!
ReplyDeleteI was looking at Royal Velvet and looks very similar to a Wet N Wild shade I forgot the name of it but it's something eggplant.
ReplyDeleteRoyal Velvet looks really great, but I would have to hold off til fall! Maybe I will find it in a clearance later this summer and use it going into fall!

ReplyDeleteKlary, I think you mean Eggplant Frost? I have that one too (and have yet to try it... so many untrieds, lol), but I think Eggplant Frost has more plum in it than purple. Both very pretty colors!
@Lilybeans: Sallys will exchange just about anything with a receipt, or if you dont have a receipt they will give you store credit.
