Spotted: New Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Makeup (cute alert! cute alert!)

For so many of us, a swipe of pretty color from a nice compact can instantly improve our moods. But what would you say if the actual powder itself (the ingredients) could make you happy?

Well, that's the claim that Physicians Formula is making with this new (and mind-blowingly adorable) new collection called Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Makeup. My pal Kimberly over at Libby's Pink Vanity just sent me some pics of this new collection (she always gets the best stuff first!) and I'm telling you, this might be the prettiest collection I've seen yet for 2011:

As you can see, there's a bronzer, a blush and a translucent finishing powder in this collection. Here are some close-ups, and look how pretty Kimberly's polish is! For a closer look at that holo goodness she's sporting, click here.

Could those multi-colored hearts be ANY CUTER? Just looking at them already puts me in a good mood! And that $3 peelie coupon on the boxes puts me in an even better mood!

Have you spotted this collection in your area yet? Are you excited to try one (or all) of these new products? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Thanks again, Kimberly, for the awesome scoop!

  1. I picked this up last week, and I really like it! I got the rose blush, and it's really nice. The smell is awesome, too! It smells like violet!

  2. But makeup already boosts my mood... especially new makeup so I'm definitely eyeing the translucent powder. I don't know what properties make it mood-boosting but the burst of hearts is adorbz and gimmicky makeup with claims that range from the unexpectedly practical to the cheeky is a guilty pleasure for me.

  3. I saw these the other day, I was trying to smell the blush through the packaging and it just wasn't happening :) The scent must be very lite. Does anyone know what it smell like yet?

I love the heart, it makes me smile just looking at it. But it was like $12.99 when I came across it, and I swear I didn't see any coupon on it. I will have to take another look, either way it seem a little pricy.

My usual makeup buyer's remorse might cancel out the mood boosting effects of the product. lol.

  5. I got the blush and powder from PF to try & I really like them. They smell nice :) The powder has a very light shimmer and feel. I love all the little hearts!

  7. I got the Rose and Natural blushes at Meijer yesterday. I used Rose today, and it smells like roses. It's so pretty and glowy (without being sparkly or making me look greasy)! The blushes were only $9.99 less a $3 coupon, so I broke my "if it's not on sale, I'm not buying it" rule. :)

  8. I was just thinking I was in need of a new powder! This looks like it will fit the bill wonderfully! They are soooo cute! Where were these spotted, I wish I had a Meijer near me!!! :)

  9. These certainly do look cute, however I'm starting to feel like PF is just making their old mosaic powders into different shapes with different names and calling them 'new' so I'm starting to become less interested each time I see this. Then again, I have a lot of PF already but if you don't they're probably new :) I'd definitely wait for sales, though.

  10. I saw this display at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I went to Ulta today and didn't see it there. I didn't know it smelled like violets! That's a bonus. :)

  14. Cute Idea and I bought them..I will be returning both Natural Blush and Transulcent Powder. Too much shimmer and I don't like the flowery Violet smell!

  17. I found these at CVS with the $3 coupon plus a $2 coupon I printed from an email from CVS. I bought the Rose blush but had to return it-it was just too bright for my pale skin. It was so pretty in the package :(
