The Wednesday Question

This week's question is one that's meant to inspire all of us beauty fanatics who tend to purchase more products than we should sometimes. I know so many bloggers do "Use It Up" posts, so this is sort of in the same vein, only I want to hear from YOU:

What beauty products have you used up lately?

Please feel free to brag and boast and inspire us all! I love the sense of accomplishment I feel when I use the last spec of powder in a compact or the last drop of shampoo in a bottle. And I know I'm not alone! So let's hear it. What have you used up in the last few weeks? Here's my list (it's been a good month so far!):

Aveeno Nourish+ Moisturize Shampoo (staple)
Suave Rosemary Mint Shampoo (staple)
Dove Damage Therapy Daily Moisture Shampoo (not a love match)
Suave Almond & Shea Butter Conditioner (staple)
Maybelline Super Stay Concealer (staple)
Maybelline Define-A-Brow pencil (staple)
Physicians Formula Healthy Wear SPF50 Powder Foundation (staple)
Dove Beauty Bar (staple)
CVS Eye Makeup Remover (generic version of Neutrogena) (staple)
Rite Aid Tugaboo Baby Wipes (staple--I use in place of makeup towelettes)

  3. I just used up a Maybelline Bronzer I had. I did buy another one but WoW, I don't use up make-up products very often.

  4. Comodynes makeup remover wipes (sensitive skin ones) and CeravePM (which I wear during the day as well) - those the only recent ones that I've used up because I really like them, but I've also been trying to use up all of the shampoos and conditioners (whether they are "HG" or not) in my shower before replacing them with something new. I'm SO bad about that! Most of this year I've been working on Terax Delicato/Crema, Regis Cashmere, Suave Rosemary Mint, and Eco-Nature Care. I can see using up all of the conditioners within the next week or so, so I'll allow myself not to finish the shampoo, LOL! :-)

  6. WOW, you finished a lot of items recently!! I wish I could say the same haha.

  7. How funny, I finally finished up a pressed powder this morning that I've been working on using every last bit of, this morning!

    Maybelline Dream Matte powder (staple)
    Queen Helene Mint Julep masque
    Covergirl Volume Exact WP mascara
    Crest with Scope toothpaste :]
    Zapzyt 10% BP
    Blistex Lip Ointment
Suave Kids 2-in-1 Shampoo in Citrus Mango

And I'm a couple weeks away from finishing the L'Oreal Go 360 Cleanser (the Sensitive Skin version), which I bought after your original review. It's lasted me that long, and I still love it! :D

  8. For realz. Those Dove shampoo/conditioners are a disappointment. I didn't even wait to use my bottles up before going back to L'Oreal EverStrong (I think it's gonna become my HG shampoo/conditioner!). The last thing I've used up was my Philosophy On A Clear Day acne treatment. I'm not gonna buy another one though cuz I found a comparable replacement in Neutrogena's Acne Stress Control moisturizer. Obviously, it's much cheaper too so it's a total win! :)

  9. My Neutrogena Anti Stress Acne Control Power Cream Wash. That stuff is amazing! It cleared up my nasty and irrational breakouts this summer and I haven't had a zit since using it!

  10. BrooklynShoeBabe, you are my best bud. I'm just amazed that people actually hit pan/finish anything before buying something else. I don't think I've ever finished any make-up product, well mascara has dried up on me, that's about it.

In my house, my oldest son goes through body wash like crazy, so that's just about the only thing I'm always replacing. I actually prefer bar soap, because it lasts forever, but now my bar of Yardley's English Lavender is annoying me because I think I've been using it for like 2 or 3 months and it's still there. I have three bars of home made goats milk soap I bought at a fair that I want to try but the Yardley's won't go away!

And you know how Pantene sells shampoo in giganto bottles or mega-giganto bottles? I have the mega-giganto bottles, so I'll be using that for the next decade or so.

  11. Oh wait! I did finish my L'Oreal Age Perfect night cream moisturizer. I was planning on finding an Olay night cream replacement since it's on sale for 6.99 at Rite Aid this week. Would you believe the entire stock of Olay was wiped out by Tuesday morning? I'm serious, there was a mile of bare shelf space where it used to be. I went to a store that's only in New England that has great bargains and got BeFine's night cream for only $5.
