Another week has flown by, which means it's time again for the Wednesday Question. I can't wait to see your responses to this one!
Of all the drugstore beauty purchases you've made over the summer, which one product are you the most happy with?
This is a tough one, but I think I'm going to say Infusium 23 Moisture Replenisher Conditioner. It took me a very long time to finally explore this brand, but this conditioner has been my go-to product ever since the day I bought it. My hair really loves it and the smell is so feminine and soft. I can't get enough! So how about you? Which of your summertime purchases makes you the happiest?
Oh...wow...only one?! LOL! I guess I'd have to say it's Milani Dress Maker, and thanks to you for the heads-up on that! =)
ReplyDeleteSally Hansen Hidden Treasure!
ReplyDeleteV05 Passionfruit Smoothie conditioner! so cheap, so effective! love it :D
ReplyDeleteShockingly Good Drugstore Finds
umm....oh, i know, Revlon ColourStay Active. I bought it duing CVS sticker sale for i think $2.50 (regular $11) and fell in love! it has SPF, it goes on quickly and doesn't feel heavy, and it lasts through water, sweat, sunscreen, etc. amazing.
ReplyDeleteWet 'n' Wild's palette in Vanity ^^ it's so convenient and the colors are just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteRevlon's Contour Eyeshadow Brush. I don't know what I ever did without it.
my best drug store purchase this summer would have to be Confetti nail polish in my favorite martian. I have bought 2 bottles and I really love the color, the formula, and best of all, the price! at 1.99 There is no way I couldn't snatch up a back up!
ReplyDeleteI have collected quite the drugstore nail polish collection this summer. So I will go with that.
ReplyDeleteRevlon, Rimmel, Wet and Wild.. Sinful Colors.
Oh, another one I forgot - Milani blush in Luminous - LOOOVE!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, this is so hard. Um, it's a tie between SH Hidden Treasure, Maybelline lipstain, and the Revlon new milky lipglosses (that we all thought were LE - they've made it into the permanent display at most of my drugstores). There's probably more I'm missing. Sorry for cheating! =)
ReplyDeletehmm... this is hard! probably my wet 'n' wild palettes, though. i've used those so much.
ReplyDeleteI have bought three Confetti nailpolishes thanks to this blog! My Favorite Martian, Paparazzi and I forget the name of the green one I got. I love it, it goes on easy, lasts long and you can't beat the price
ReplyDeleteProbably my Wet n Wild megalast lipcolor in Think Pink; I love the color and how long lasting it was. I can't wait to buy more!
ReplyDeleteProbably my Wet n Wild megalast lipcolor in Think Pink; I love the color and how long lasting it was. I can't wait to buy more!
ReplyDeleteWt n wild plumping mascara it is my favorite now and I threw out all my lumpy, clumpy goopy, flaky $20+ mascara's.
ReplyDeleteAlso eos shave cream....where have you been all my life...swoon!
for its a tie! i recently bought Revlon color burst in soft rose and Maybelline's gel liner and absolutely love both!! i guess if i had to pick one it would be the lipstick!
ReplyDeleteI think I might have to go with L'Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes mascara, with a very very close second going to Wet N Wild Brulee Eyeshadow!
ReplyDeleteI would have to say the Rimmel Fix & PErfect Foundation Primer. It keeps my foundation on all day, and just helps everything to stay, it also makes me skin super smooth and soft. Another thing would have to be the color icon palettes from WetnWild, I have the ones in vanity and greed they are just amazing.
ReplyDeleteI love the Etude House Milk Screw I bought (Korean brand). It's the PERFECT tinted lip balm: nice scent, relatively cute packaging, moisturizing, and adds a perf touch of color. I LOVE IT and I want more!! lol
ReplyDeleteWnW color icon single e/s in Penny. I thought it would be too orange but it's really pretty and summery as a wash. I think I bought every shade of blue np that Sinful makes too, but I haven't picked a favorite yet :)
ReplyDeleteI think my Olay Daily Facial Cleansing Cloths are probably my favorite summer buy. Unfortunately - it's kinda the only product that I'm completely happy with.
ReplyDeleteThat is a hard question because there were so many new discoveries.
ReplyDeleteThe one that turned my head and made me gasp was purchasing Pantene. They changed packaging and all those old ones got put up on clearance.
I don't usually use drugstore hair products, so it was out of left-field for me to try it. And, I'm SOOOO glad I did!
I'm nursing my damaged hair back to health and this is the only product that has made my hair so soft. Best discovery of the YEAR!
L'oreal HIP eyeshadow in "electrified". soooo pretty! the perfect metallic taupe that i was looking for. thanks, G!
ReplyDeleteRevlon Age Defying concealer - although it is my first cream concealer so I don't really have a point of reference. It moisturizes, has sunscreen, peptides and covers dark circles and discolorations well.
ReplyDeleteThe LashBlast mascaras.

ReplyDeleteMilani Infinite liner! It truly has saved me in the hot and humid months of Florida. It is waterproof and lasts like nobody's business. I did an experiment to test it's staying power and it lasted 48 hours with no smudging or wearing signs. Way to go Milani!
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying my Revlon Superlustrous l/g in Lilac Pastelle and Coral Reef! So pigmented one could wear alone, but I like to stack it on l/s.
ReplyDeleteI'm also enjoying Herbal Essence Totally Twisted Conditioner. It makes for beautiful braid outs and twist outs.
NYC Blushable Creme Stick in Pink Flash. I've been wearing it almost everyday since I bought it. A perfect color for summer.

ReplyDeleteI have a 2 way tie between:
ReplyDelete1) Revlon Super Lustrous Lipglosses (especially Pink Pop & Coral Reef)
2) Wet n Wild Color Icon e/s Single (in Brulee)
The best things I got were Jergen's Natural Lotions. I have all three types. It saved my skin.
ReplyDeleteIt's been 100 degrees or more all summer long. It was in the 90's in the late Spring.
L'oreal HIP Jelly Balm in Succulent. Perfect for when I'm in a rush because it's just enough color and shine and it keeps my lips hydrated as well!
ReplyDeleteSo hard to choose! I'd have to go with all the LA Colors stuff I've gotten as the surprise in a good way best stuff. I love the eye shadow palettes (6 not 12). When I am having a hard time deciding what shadow I want to wear, I inevitably wind up choosing one of them. Nicely pigmented, smooth and blendable, and last all day. Also the nail polishes, both the regular line and the color craze line. They dry super fast, wear like iron on me, and such fun colors.
ReplyDeleteOthers that impressed me, L'Oreal Color Riche lipsticks, Maybelline Wet Shine Fusion lipsticks, and Sally Hansen Line Smoothing Mineral Lip Treatment glosses. The SH gloss I wish lasted longer, while at the same time, I love reapplying because it's got such a nice minty fresh smell.
It's kind of hard to pick just one since I bought A LOT, but ... Probably my Essie nail polish in Mint Candy Apple. I love pastel nail colors
