You tell ME!

Hello lovelies! I've created this page as a place where YOU can tell me about all the fabulous deals you've spotted at your local drugstores, grocery stores, Big Lots, dollar stores, Target, online, etc.

I receive so many wonderful emails every week from YOU, alerting me to fantastic beauty-related deals out there, that I just can't post about every one of them (there's not enough time in the day, unfortunately).

So if you've got a great deal that you want to share with me and, more importantly, with the rest of us, leave your comment here and spread the good news!

Here are a few simple instructions:

1) Tell us which store(s) you found the deal
2) Tell us the name of the products(s)
3) Tell us if there is an expiration date for the deal (if there is one)

Of course if you have even more information (printable coupons, etc.), by all means include that too!

Thanks to all of you who have written me in the past and took time out of your day to share your great bargain discoveries with me. I hope that by creating this page, we can ALL benefit from your knowledge!

PS: And don't forget to leave a comment if you have taken advantage of any of the deals posted here. I'm sure the original commenter would enjoy hearing from you. :)

  1. I've been wanting to share this discovery for awhile since I haven't seen anyone talk about it yet, but at my local Costco (I live in So-Cal)they are having a great sampler of Stila products for only $20. They sell a set called All About You with the following:
    ~ #30 Double-Ended Shadow Brush
~ Lash Visor Waterproof Mascara in Black
    - a travel-sized Smudgepot in Black
~ a travel-sized One Step Makeup in Medium
~ Eyeshadow Trio Palette in Warm or Cool. Cool has Stone, Smog and Kitten. These are beautiful smoky blue colors, great for us brown-eyed girls. I don't remember what the name of the warm eyeshadows were called but the trio included Kitten as well, with a yellowish gold color and a rather ordinary-looking medium brown. So if you know anyone with a Costco card hit them up!

  2. I soooooo wanna every one to check their local Walgreen out for this one!

I found the SH Complete Salon Manicure nail polishes on clearance at my local Walgreen's (Allston, MA) for $3!!!!
And last week SH nail polishes are BOGO 50% off, it works with these clearance items.
I bought 6 of them for around $14 including 6.25% tax.

The Shades were Yellow Kitty, Red Zin, Kook-A-Mango, Purple Pulse, Lavender Cloud, and Gilty Pleasure. There is one more shade I didn't get. It was I think Thinking of Blue.

I try to find these in another Walgreen, but no luck.

So, ya, go check out your local Walgreen and you might be in luck!

  3. This is an online deal:
If you go to Neutrogena.com, you can print a $15 rebate for their new Ion2 Wrinkle treatment. But, that's not the best part. If you go to Walmart.com and order the kit, you will get an ecard for $15.00 from Walmart (while supplies last). That means you will end up paying $5.97 for the night treatment kit after all of the rebates!! What a deal.

Please, keep 'em coming! :D And to any of you who are reading this--if you take advantage of any of these deals, leave a comment and let us know about it! :)

  6. On Neutrogena's website, there's $2 off coupon for any suncare product (perfect to use if you want to try out their new "milky" sunscreen, the UltraSheer Liquid Sunblock, which is supposed to be similar to japanese sunscreens).

Is there a way to make recent comments listed first? That way it'd be more up to date w/o lots of scrolling through expired coupons etc

  7. Go to Qtica.com/Zoya.com and get 3 (three) Hot Lips Glosses for ONLY $6.95 shipping!!! Use code LIPPY @ checkout. These glosses run $6 regularly (so you're saving $18) and there is a huge variety of colors. These are in squeezy tube and not at all sticky.
Not sure how long the offer is for.

  9. Walgreens (mine at least) is having a sale on the CoverGirl Wet Slicks Amazemint glosses. They are now $2.59 instead of $5+!!!

  12. CVS Clearance Sale

Hi, I'm new to this blog, but I thought I'd share my CVS finds since I got some really great deals.

    After 75% discount:

L'Oreal HIP Color Rich Cream Crayon - $2.49
These are like MAC shadesticks. I got one in Intricate (navy blue) and Authentic (emerald green).

    L'Oreal Infallible Concealer - $2.75
This is a concealer stick that claims to be "anti-dark circles".

    NYC Liquid Eyeliner - $0.49 (!!)
I'm really skeptical about how well this will perform, but I thought it was worth a try at this price. I got it in black.

Milani Buzz Worthy Lip Gloss - $1.75
These are really shimmery/glittery lipglosses in squeeze tubes. I got one in 06 - Bee Gone (a rosy pink).

    Revlon Creme Gloss - $2.49
These are click-pen lipglosses with brushes at the end. I got three colors: Play Up Pink (a vibrant pink), Just Blushed (a neutral pinky beige), and Peachy Sheen (peach).

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick - $1.32
I knew I'd love these, as two of my favorite lipsticks (Birthday Suit and Airy Fairy) are this type. I got the only two colors that I saw on sale (otherwise I would have gotten more): Crush (shimmery peach) and Paradise (deep mauve).

Sally Hansen Lacquer Shine Nail Color - $1.62
After seeing the post on this with the awesome photo, I knew I had to try it out. I fully intended to get Flair, but opted instead for Spark, which is also purple but deeper and more duo-tone.

Other things that I saw on clearance but opted not to buy:
Almay blushes, Rimmel Lasting Finish foundation, Revlon ColorStay Active Light Makeup, Revlon ColorStay mineral powder, NYC foundation, Milani foundation, L'Oreal Infallible Never Fail lipstick, Borghese nailpolish, Trim manicure tools

Favorite purchase: I discovered my new favorite mouth-of-the-moment -- Rimmel lipstick in Crush with Revlon Creme Gloss in Peachy Sheen. So lovely for Spring/Summer!

  14. These comments are FANTASTIC! Thank you all so much for sharing what you've purchased from the CVS clearance sale--and just so you know, others are reading your comments (this page has the highest amount of traffic today of any other page on my blog!).

Let me add my haul from yesterday to this list (I'll be posting swatches soon in case anyone wants to see some shades before they make a purchase):

    L'Oreal Infallible Concealer $2.75

NYC Mosaic Eyeshadow Wheel (Beyond the Sea): $1.25

Revlon Creme Gloss (Sassy Mauve): $2.49

Sally Hansen Lacquer Shine Nail Polish (Glossy): $1.62

When I made this purchase I used a $1 NYC coupon (from the tear-pad on the Shock Value collection display), a $2 Revlon coupon (from the newspaper), and a $1 L'Oreal coupon (also from the newspaper). Oh, and I also had 1 Extra Buck (From my green bag tag).

So instead of paying $8.11 (which STILL would have been an excellent deal without coupons) I ended up paying $3.11.

I'm still in shock that I got #32.46 worth of makeup for $3.11!

Can't wait to see more comments from you! :D

  15. Okay, here goes:
    2 l'oreal hip color crayons: 2.49ea
4 rimmel volume flash mascara (silver bottle) 1.87ea
3 sally hansen lacquer shine nail polish 1.62ea
1 sally hansen diamond shine nail polish (disappointed in the colors available, but the boy liked an orange with green shimmer) 1.25
and a concealer from nyc that wasn't on sale
coupons used included an nyc $1 off (used on the two dollar concealer), $2 off rimmel product coupon found at... allyou.com? plus two other rimmel coupons for $1 off (one for anything, one for mascara), .50 off sally hansen from either redplum.com (a week or two ago) or allyou.com, $1 off coupon from the paper months ago for l'oreal

So, 6.50 worth of coupons found in the paper brough my already awesome total dwn from 20.56 (pretax) to 14.06.........hell-freaking-yes. At the bottom of my receipt it says I saved 62.33.

Ok, my store was pretty stocked with the items already mentioned on here (won't include the list again), but the only beef I had was with the infallible concealor. I *really* wanted that and there was none of the lightest shade left, and there is no safety seal on that stuff so people had messed around with them. Ew.

Final thoughts: I freaking love this blog so hard. I've saved so much money (granted, I've spent more - but it evens out damnit!) checking it out every day and the ones on the blogroll. So many free samples have come to me in the mail, plus extra coupons on sites I wouldn't find normally, etc... Awesome.

Oh yeah, and after leaving CVS I hit up Petsmart for some litter that was already on sale for two dollars less and had an additional $2 off coupon stuck to the front. Plus a dollar off coupon for another brand that was in the paper. Sweet!

  18. We all know about the WnW BOGO at RiteAid this week, but I had to share my love for their tinted moisturizer. If you are a TM girl like I am (was using ELF)you have GOT TO TRY THIS! Since it's probably the most expensive thing at the WnW display, you get something else for free!
Also I got some RiteAid brand Cocoa Butter (huge pump bottle) for $4.49 after BOGO1/2 off plus 10%off with my wellness+ card. Combining the Wellness+ card with any RiteAid brand coupon is great!

  19. The only new thing I saw at CVS that other readers have not mentioned was a Milani Crystal Gloss in Kiss n Tell (shimmery gold). I got one of them and also bought Rimmel Paradise and Crush. Does anyone know if the Revlon ECBs this week apply to cosmetics on sale?

  20. I was able to purchase 4 different L'Oreal HiP Color Rich Cream Crayons at my local CVS for $2.49 each. However, there was a stash in my wallet of $1 off L'Oreal Manufacture's coupons. I saved an additional dollar off of each item.

    Total Savings! $34! Cha Ching!

    282 Intricate (Navy Blue)
    382 Authentic (Evergreen)
    842 Meticulous (Light Gold)
    972 Perfectionist (Black)

  21. I went to another CVS today (since there is one in every block in downtown Chicago) This last one had Wet n Wild products 50% off, these weren't the new ones, so if you have favorites from the old collection check your CVS. I saw red stickers on all eyeshadow palettes, blushes, some nail polishes, some lipsticks, and many other products. The first CVS I went to did not have WnW marked down, so try scanning some and see if they are 50% off.

  22. Sorry for so many comments (I'm just super excited about the CVS sale and saving money in general).

In case you didnt know Procter & Gamble (the makers of CG, Olay, Head&Shoulders, etc.) Have a magazine that you can suscribe to for free (link below). The magazine, "Rouge", is apparently jampacked with coupons. I recently suscribed, so I have not received it yet.

Rouge magazine link to subscribe for free:
    https://www.rougemag.com/en-US/Pages/Register1_Secure.aspx

Finally, these are the things I've bought at CVS today:

Milani crystal gloss in kiss n tell = $1.19
Milani mineral eye pencil in brown=$1.49
    WnW megalipstick (amethyst ice)=$0.99
WnW Silk finish blush (mellow mauve)=$1.49
WnW Ultimate expressions palette in Fantasy island =$ 2.49
Rimmel lasting finish in crush, and paradise =$ 1.32 ea.

That's it for now, happy shopping :)

Happy shopping!!

  24. I wish I had a sale to list, this is more a, "heads up," on a great deal. Recessionista mentioned the physicians formula kit with the gel eyeliner and matching shadow in an earlier post. The CVS on Saturn in Imperial Beach (shopping center with VONS and Home Depot) still has these sets for $14.99. They were not available during the 40% off sale. I received a $3 off $15 from the coupon machine and am going to use it on the eye kit plus an NYC lip gloss.

    ReplyDelete
  25. This is a really great feature, Recessionista!

I wish it were easier for me to get to a CVS now. This sounds like such a great sale!

I noticed today at my local Walgreens (in Connecticut) they had Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks on sale for $5.49... I think they're usually about $9. I already have a couple of these lipsticks, and they are fantastic! My favorite nude lipstick (blushed) and my favorite red (fire and ice) both come from this line.

And Dianna, thank you for the tip about rouge. I subscribed to the magazine. I hope it has some good coupons!

  26. You can get a printable coupon for $1.00 off any Queen Helene product by following the link below. The coupon should be accepted at most stores that carry Queen Helene products. I can't remember the expiration date but I think it's a little later this year.

  27. I was able to use the $1 off coupon on Sally Hansen's Lacquer Shine. It was 75% off, making it $1.75. So after the $1 off coupon, a mire 75 Cents. I got one of each color at that price.

  28. Reporting for duty again haha :)
Today I went to a different CVS in Wheaton, IL. and they did not have any stickers for the sale, but I scanned some of the things I already knew were on sale and they came up! I bought:

Revlon creme gloss in sassy mauve $2.49-$2.00 MFR coupon=$.49

Relvon super luster in glossy rose $1.99-$2.00 MRF coupon=FREE!!!

SH Lacquer in glossy $1.62-$.50 MRF c=1.12

I also bought two aussie hair products they are @2.99 and giving $2.00 in ECB, I had a $2/2 coupon from this sundays newspaper so they were practically free!!

Walgreens is putting orange stickers on some of the same things CVS has but the prices are not as good (for example revlon creme gloss is 5.19 not 2.49,sally hansen lacquer sine is 3.29 not 1.62) There is a $2.00 wags coupon for revlon lip products you can use though.

Have I mentioned how much I love this new feature?

  29. Last week I was stopped in a Dollar General for random stuff and I realized that they had makeup (Duh!)

They had E.L.F. makeup brushes for 1$!!! Yea I picked up five!

They also had assorted Cover Girl and Wet N Wild cosmetics for 1-5$ dollars, most 2-3$.

They also had a "No-Name" brand as well for 1-3$.

Dollar General does accept coupons so you can get even better deals if you are prepared!

L'Oreal Hip Crayon in Meticulous $2.49

  33. There is this discount store in my borough named Lot-Less. They have a bunch of drugstore makeup. Some items are only there for a limited time. Recently, I saw Physicians Formula's Organic Wear items there. They were selling for... I guess 75 percent off of retail price? so 3.99? 4.99 for the more expensive items?

  35. Hi~
I just wanted to post a more organized list of what you might be able to find at the CVS clearance event. None of this list is from my own research or experience -- I just organized everyone's comments into a categorized list. Included, when available, are the item name, price, and colors/shades that are on clearance. I also included links to the products' reviews on Makeup Alley, because I think that just because something is on sale, doesn't mean you should just go out and buy it. (For instance, the Almay Mascara on sale has 0% approval on MUA) At the bottom of the list are some coupon sources.

By the way, this list is lacking in nail polish items, because when I first compiled the list, it was just for me and my friend and we don't use nail polish. Now I've decided to share the list, but I'm too sleepy to go back and find all the nailpolish deals... Sorry~!

  36. I BLEED PINK: I'm sorry I had to delete your comment, but as Tiff so nicely pointed out, scanning coupons is illegal and I in NO way to want to EVER promote anything illegal on this site (directly or indirectly). So your comment had to go. Hope you understand (and thanks so much, Tiff, for responding before I had a chance to).

And even though I said I wasn't going to clog up this post with "Thank you" comments, I just HAVE to say that I am forever grateful for all your wonderful tips and info! Shiori: I am amazed at the time and effort you spent on this detailed CVS list. Thank you SO much for that! And Dianna, thanks SO much for the tip about Rouge (and all the other fab tips you've left here!). Wow, that is awesome!

And just so you know that your comments are being read, I want to let you know that this page is BY FAR the most popular page on my entire blog. It's getting so many hits per day that I can barely keep track. So thank you so very much--all of you--for taking the time to post here. This page wouldn't exist (literally) without you and I am so grateful!

  37. So I went to my local CVS to check out the items that were on sale for 75% off. Here's what I walked out with.

Sally Hansens Natural Beauty Natural Shine Lip Gloss: Reg $7.99 75% off 1.99 each
    Juicy Cherry
    Moonlit Mauve

Sally Hansen's Natural Beauty Color Comfort Lip Color: Reg $9.99 75% off 2.49 each
    Sparkling Berry
    Soft Red

Unfortunately I didn't have any coupons but still a huge steal. Now let me express my LOVE LOVE LOVE for these products. Did I mention that I LOVE them?? First of all I don't about anyone else but I have issues with lipstick and lip gloss. They're either way too sticky, leave my lips chapped and peeling,or even worse leave that nasty film that I have wipe off along with the product. Anyways, I've been wearing this lipstick with the gloss on top all day yesterday and today and have not experienced any of the yuckies above. The lipstick glides on smooth and lasts all day, and the gloss is non-sticky and produces a beautiful shine. I will definitely be going back for more before they're all gone. So ladies definitely check these two products out. BTW, I was a little hesitant about buying the gloss because the consistency looked a little iffy...but trust it's all good. BTW Ms. Recessionista thank you so much for implementing the spell check feature because I can not spell when I'm excited!! LOL

  38. I went to CVS today and I got a couple of things. :)

-Revlon Beyond Natural Defining Eye Pencil: $2.09
-Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in Crush: $0.32, I had a $1 off coupon!!!
-Sally Hansen Natural Beauty by Carmindy Natural Shine Lip Gloss in Clear Shimmer: $0.99, I had a $1 off coupon again!

    TOTAL (before taxes): $3.40!
I'm very happy about my purchase!

  39. The sale is on where I am, as well. However, interestingly enough, all the items that have been stickered at my place aren't on this list... But the ones that appear scan for sale prices. I can't remember what WAS stickered -- there weren't too many -- but I know most of the Revlon Creme Gloss line is on sale, so if you're a fan of those, grab them fast!

  40. I went to a local CVS today in South Florida (Commercial and 441), and saw a new display from Maybelline, that included about 12-14 NEW ColorSensational lipsticks and about 5 or 6 glosses. I think it's their summer collection...something to do with pearls. But anyhow, I picked up three lipsticks: 735 Champagne Shimmer, 730 Coral Gleam, 750 Bronze Beam. All of these come in a natural colored container, same as the other colorsensationals, but these are nude, and the lipsticks themselves are all infused with shimmer. I could not find them in any other CVS, so I'm assuming this collection is brand spankin new...there's no info on the web about it either. Just thought I would share because I totally fell in love with these.

  41. Just wanted to let everyone know that Walgreen's has Queen Helene Facial Masque on sale 2 for $4.99 (regular price is $4.49 for one). Plus you can use that coupon Queen posted a couple of days ago! I think it ends on the 29th, but I'm not positive.

  42. Hey everyone!

I have a $3 off Revlon ColorBurst lipstick and a $2 off any Revlon color cosmetic, does anyone know if I can stack them? Thanks!

  43. Does anybody know when the CVS sale ends? I picked up a couple more things yesterday (another lacquer shine and one of the $.25 clear NYC polishes for future mixing with pigments), but can't really swing much more until the end of the month.

Also, is there a coupon for HIP products out there anywhere? I *need* more of those crayons and maybe a pigment or two.

  44. ^There's $1 off ANY L'Oreal cosmetic on their website. I went to CVS and there was a Rimmel display with bonus packs of lasting finish foundation AND primer...they are unmarked but 75% off. $1.82...in the regular rimmel section the foundation is clearanced for that price, but the primer is still full price...so awesome deal. FREE if u use the $2 all you coupon! (I used all mine but it was still such a good deal!) I also got the NYC city duets eyeshadows, all colors are clearanced...I used the $1 off 1.99 tearpads I found at Rite aid. She had to adjust it down since the e/s are 75 cents, but still free, just no overage. HTH!

  45. You are so right on ur latest update from Dollar Tree. My DT is selling L.A color nail polish with hardener, and it is excellent. I just want them all, I cannot tame myself, but I ended up buying two only. So head over to ur DT, because the nail polishes are excellent. There are a lot of color to choose from. I know that at some places online, it is $1.99+. So DT is the best

  46. Shiori that was a great list you put together! You are so right about reading the reviews. The Almay mascara is HORRIBLE!! I wish I had read the reviews before I bought it. So glad it was 75% off.

  47. Just got back from a Target in San Diego (Mira Mesa location) which had double packs of Nivea Touch of Happiness shower gel on sale for $4.66. The pack contained a regular size which is already pretty big and then a smaller size, roughly 2/3 of the large one. Perfect deal if you have any of the $4 off mfr coupon that came out 3-4 weeks. Also, they had Soap and Glory stuff on sale. Finally, there's a $1 target Dove Fresh coupon on their site, and you can stack that with the $1 mfr coupon from the past couple of weeks in the paper. I ended up purchasing one of the body mists for about a buck.

  48. My local Dollar Tree had lots of LA Color shadows, but I passed on those. I did get a Maybelline Linestylist Lipliner in Nude,Colour Fresco eyeliners in Iced Mocha and Sunburst, and a Maybelline Dream Mousse Bronzer in #15 Light. Unfortunately, the two eyeliners were dried out, but it was worth a try!Happy shopping.

  49. I just spotted a bunch of Maybelline products with the 50% off stickers at CVS! Maybelline Define-A-Lash mascara (I forgot if it was the pink or green...) , Great Lash mascara, most of the Maybelline Pure foundation and Maybelline Age Rewind Cream Compact foundation shades, and Mineral Power Shimmer Bronzer in Sunkissed. I also saw Covergirl's lash exact mascara with a 50% off sticker.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I forgot -- CVS also has Black Radiance stuff for 50% off. Their blushes, loose eyeshadows, highlighting duos, liquid eyeliners, and cream eyeshadow sticks are on sale. I picked up two loose eyeshadows and the eyeshadow stick in gunmetal grey - hopefully it doesn't crease!

  51. Plaza Bonita Target on the clearance endcap:
If you are stocking up no antiperspirant they have two and three packs on sale for $4.25 of Dove gofresh, another Dove I can't remember, Degree, and Secret with the shimmer. Axe and Old Spice have three packs for the same price. It is summer, if you are traveling, buy the pack, take one with you, leave two behind, or just stocking up for the year.

    Maybelline Mineral Blushes
    Maybelline Pure Makeup
    Revlon Creme Glosses
    Almay Lip Glosses
    L'Oreal Hip Jelly Balms
And some other things that I'm probably forgetting. Pretty much one or two things from every brand.
The Maybelline blushes are only $4.19 I believe. I have two of the shades already and I highly recommend them! ^-^

  57. Stopped at CVS on my way home this evening and found a lot of 75% off , same as the others listed. Got a few more Milani Buzz Worthy Lipglosses. I love how they feel on my lips. Then I spotted a new Display for some new Maybelline Lipsticks with frost... looked for my favorite Born with It and it wasn't there. I looked around the shelves a bit more and found a small basket with some Maybelline lipsticks with 50% off... and I found two Born with It. I hope this doesn't mean they are going to discontinue this color. I LOVE this color. Of course, I bought the two for backup... just in case!

  59. I was at CVS today and found a display of Maybelline's The Falsies mascara. I've heard it's pretty popular in the UK, and now it's finally available in the US! CVS currently has Maybelline eye products 40% off, so I paid just under $5 after tax. :]

  60. RiteAid has Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear for BOGO free this week. I was able to use 2 $1 off coupons that I got from a tearaway pad on the SH Nail Art pens display. I only paid $1.21 (including tax) fort the 2 polishes!

  61. This is a deal for Canadians,
found at Dollarama for $2 each. (These weren't even avail in Canada as far as I know!)

Natural Beauty Inspired by Carmindy Your Skin Foundation, cream blushes, powder blushes, finishing powder and powder foundation.

I hauled 2 blushes (Sunrise, a pretty peachy colour; and Fawn a cool plummy-brown colour), I also bought 2 liquid foundations Creamy Beige and True Beige. The colours that I could remember were, Creamy Beige, True Beige, Sandy Beige, Tawny Beige, warm Beige, Golden Beige, Mocha, and Mahogany (so no light skintones). They also had the Luminous Matte Pressed Powder in Deep, Translucent Loose powder in Deep, Natural Powder Blush in Dusk and Fawn, Sheerest Cream Blush in Sunrise and Sunset and 1 colour of the Ultra Smoothing Lip tint, but you might get lucky at your Dollarama and find more colours

  62. Walgreens in Mira Mesa (San Diego) has Maybelline colorsensational lipglosses that are part of the Salsa Sun collection on clearance for $2 each!!!!! I couldn't believe it. This deal will very much depend on your store. Like other posters have said, Walgreens is doing their own makeup clearance though not as cheap as CVS, so if you happen to be there, look for these glosses, and dont forget to use the $1 coupons from the Sweet Thing display if you have those laying around!

  64. OK, I just could not resist coming here and bragging about the great deal I found today!

After getting a haircut, my sister and I went to a local consignment shop in our town just to browse. We went over to the cosmetics/bath and body section to look around. Now, I know that a cosmetics/bath and body section at a consignment shop is a little sketchy, but it doesn't hurt to look, right? Well, you will never believe what I found.

I got a 24 OZ, YES 24 OZ, Philosophy Candy Cane 3-in-1 for $1.50!!! I want to say that the 24 oz 3-in-1s retail for $20?

I also got a 4oz Clinque Take the Day Off Makeup Remover and a small 1oz sample of Clinique All About Eyes. These two products were in a bag together marked $1.99.

So, I walked out of the store with about $30 worth of product for $3.73!! I couldn't believe it. I'm definitely going to visit that consignment shop more often now. Sorry, I know this is not a drugstore deal, but I just couldn't resist bragging about it!

  65. In Rite Aid's clearance bin there's nail polish, shampoo, and stuff. I bought a 24 pack of Always Clean Overnight pads for $4.50. I also had a $1 off coupon bringing the cost to $3.50.

  66. Read RoxyJ's comment & rushed to the nearest Dollarama in Vancouver (there's only 2 here btw!). I found 3 different cream blushes (Sunrise, Sunset, & Ginger). Didn't care for the powder blushes but there are some! And there were only liquid foundations too. Only 1tube of lip gloss left too...

I went to Save On Foods too & checked out the NYX $1 clearance bin. Usually there's only disgusting testers of lip gloss but there were quite a few new ones and nail polishes. The best find was the $1 trio palettes and singles. There's quite a lot to choose from too! The best bet is to go to any Save On's located around you with the biggest cosmetics department & NYX Cosmetic section to find a good NYX clearance bin.

    Good luck!

  67. At Rite Aid, (at least the one in Albany, Oregon), several nail polish brands are BOGO 1/2 off with a Wellness Card. The two brands I know for sure are part of the sale are Sinful Colors, and Chameleon, since those are the two that I bought. I also finally found Hidden Treasure there, and bought two bottles, and the cashier made a mistake and thought it was BOGO 1/2 off as well, so I got the second bottle for half the price! <3

  68. I went to Walgreens today to snag that deal for the Schick Hydro razor...the razor is on sale for $7.99, plus it is giving back $4 in register rewards, PLUS there was a $5 coupon in the paper today.

Something kind of weird though...I did not buy any cosmetic items this time, but I got a $4.50 off Cover Girl Exact items coupon AND A $2 coupon good for Cover Girl lip items!

Kind of odd, but I am not complaining!

  71. If you're lucky enough to live near a Beauty Brands store, do yourself a favor and go to their website and sign up for emails. Http://www.beautybrands.com/ Near the bottom of the page, on the left you'll see something that says "Be in the know."

About once a month, sometimes more, they send email coupons for free full-size products. As long as you keep redeeming them, they'll keep sending them. The last three coupons they've sent me have been for a free ABBA Herbal leave-in treatment ($26 value), Biologe Gelee ($9 value), and TIGI Totally Beachin Styling Mist ($19 value). It's totally worth signing up for emails!

    ReplyDelete
  72. I forgot to mention that the item is free with a purchase, but there's no minimum. They have CND Stickey on sale right now for $2.98, so when I redeemed the coupon for the TIGI product, I got it and the CND for a little over $3 with tax.

  80. Little things I've noticed from the past few days of shopping:

Kmart - (not often frequented) had the best tear-pad coupons (I got $1 off any Maybelline mascara, and a Rimmel one). I think they are old(er), but still valid until mid-July. They had a very good selection of sometimes hard to find ds brands like WnW, Jane (all items on major clearance) and Milani (the store is a mess so chances are there was a lot on clearance but it was not marked properly)

    Dollar General
    - Tons of cosmetics; Maybelline e/s quads (popular ones like Shimmering Sands), mascaras, eyeliners
    - L'Oreal Voluminous mascara, eyeliners, etc.
    - Other known d/s brands I'm forgetting.
    - Typical dollar store brands: LA Colors makeup and polishes, Sally Hansen, and ELF (lots of tools; some $1 brushes, eyelash curler, bonus pack sharpener).

**I bought under $10 and a $5 off $25 coupon printed at the bottom of my receipt. Valid starting on July 2 (lasts only until 3rd or 4th I can't remember right now)**

    Sally beauty supply
    - Tapered nail files clearance priced around 50 cents
    - Boar bristle hair brush on clearance for $4.99 (Similar to Sephora's detangler brush, $24+)
    - Orly polishes and treatments on clearance for $3.99 or less (all of which I saw at CVS for full price) found in basket close to register

    Target:
    - Maybelline LE eye shadow duos on clearance (Under $2.50 if I remember correctly)
    - Maybelline XXL mascaras (only some tubes that were part of a display were marked)
    - Sally Hansen nail treatment bonus packs (various formulas, bonus was cuticle oil or nail corrector pen depending) on clearance for $3.48 (plus, there is a $1 off printable coupon)
    - L'Oreal bronzer on clearance (it is in the end cap display with the L'Oreal self tanner)
    - Other beauty/health items I noticed on clearance (didn't note prices): various headbands, shampoos, Burt's bees packs, crest toothpaste with bonus mouth wash, random squeeze tube lip glosses

CVS (was there about 5 days ago) - still had items from their beauty clearance, a lot of which were unmarked so they were practically fully stocked on a lot of the products mentioned before

  82. I have to say my great deal was buying cosmetics from mscuppycakes.com. The shipping is reasonable, and the deals are incredible! I was able to save eight dollars by just buying two products from there instead of the NYX website, and about $5 cheaper than even on Cherry Culture! The lipsticks are also at a constant low price...
the NYX Round Lipsticks are ALWAYS $1.25 (I wish I had gotten some)!

Plus I think they even went the extra mile and ordered shades for me that they did not have in stock. If you don't see it there, just make sure to ask customer service! It would probably take longer to deliver, obviously, but it's worth it! If you want it to stick around you should buy from there!

Aromaleigh has been one of the (in my opinion - THE TOP!) top Mineral MakeUp online companies in the last decade, however the store is now going out of business.

To move product the proprietor, Kristen, is offering a 35% off coupon that is good, site wide for the next 2 weeks (from yesterday). Just input coupon code "Adieu35" at check out. I just saved over 50$ on a 150$ order.

  85. CVS in Mira Mesa (San Diego) had some Halle Berry, Pam Anderson Malibu, and Faith Hill perfume sets originally $19.99 marked down to $4.99. They also had non-beauty related items marked from $19.99 to $4.99 like the Perfect Brownie maker and Emerson telescope. Have not had a chance to visit other locations, so not sure if this CVS-wide, but worth checking out if the perfumes are ones you like!

  89. Great deal on Rimmel at Kmart!

Some Kmart stores are doubling "health and beauty" coupons this week (up to $2, limit 5 coupons). In my ad, all Rimmel products are buy 1, get 1 free. I had 2 "$1 off Rimmel" coupons printed from the All You site, so I picked out 2 polishes that were regularly 3.29 each, and also a $1 elf Luscious Liquid Lipstick. Both coupons doubled with overage, so my total was 47 cents!

  91. I went to [a sketchy] Walmart yesterday, and once inside I was pleased to see they had done some remodeling and MAJOR reorganization. The makeup section was like heaven! There were a few aisles of clearance items [I assume due to the remodel] and I found PF spf 50 tinted moisturizer for THREE DOLLARS!! I was so excited and had been wanting this so badly that I bought two. I also got 2 Neutrogena Skin Clearing pressed mineral powders for $3 each and 2 Hard Candy lipsticks for $1 each. So if you notice that a Walmart near you is being revamped, check in the back near the garden section to see if they have any awesome makeup deals!

  95. 1. Went to Target, and mine is selling two-packs of Revlon Colorburst lipsticks! They retail for the price of one, which is around $6.50 at Target. It's a pretty good deal, especially if you can find a Revlon coupon.

    2. My Ross was selling bags of PF stuff. I didn't look too closely, but they had several different combos. I also found a set of Color Club nail polish for $7.99... I was tempted, but I have too many right now, hahaha.

    3. There's a store near me called Trade Secret that is offering 50% the ENTIRE STORE. Mostly, it's hair products and nail polish. I got my friend a mini set of the Essie Resort collection for under $7! If there are any OPI or Essie polishes you're lemming, this is a great chance to pick them up for cheap.

  96. Went to lots of stores today, here's what I remember:

Walgreens - not make up, but I found an Eco Tools bath set (body wash, loofah, and something else) and travel size Neutrogena face washes on clearance ($.49). Also, SOME Sally Hansen hair removers (wax strips, cream, etc.) were $2-3 off and I know there is a printable coupon floating around. Also found $.75 Garnier shampoo, conditioner, or treatment tearpad coupons that don't expire until the end of this year!

CVS - still, many items that other readers posted about in the beauty clearance were not marked so there was a full shelf (Revlon lip glosses, Sally Hansen inspired by Carmindy, etc.). Also found $2 off any Maybelline dream mousse product tear pad coupons, and $3 off Maybelline instant age rewind foundation (tear pad)

Target - Veet set w/ tote on clearance (there's also a Target coupon), new E.L.F. display (this target did not have ELF a couple weeks ago when I was there) and it was all the $1 items, nothing from the studio line; and SINFUL COLORS nail polish for $1.99. The shelf was pretty empty so it's either new at Target or really old... not sure, but I never noticed it before.

Dollar Tree - lots of LA colors (e/s pallets, nail polishes, loose e/s, glosses, etc.), Sally Hansen diamond lip gloss, new nail accessories (files, buffers, kits, etc.), Nivea lip conditioner ($2.99 at Wags), some Sally Hansen nail treatments... sold out of the Maybelline Dream Mousse blush that I saw last time. Overall the cosmetics/beauty section was well stocked

Publix - again, not makeup but some Garnier nutritioniste moisturizers and cleansers were on clearance (and there is a printable coupon)

  98. I sent this email to Recessionista and completely forgot about this great post! Hope this helps some of you gals...
    _____________

So I was wandering through my local Bed Bath & Beyond and as I looked through their health and beauty section, I noticed some ridiculous bargains I had to share.

    Sally hansen HD polish $4.99
Maybelline Pearls lipstick $5,69; gloss. $4.99
    Maybelline Dream mousse $7.39
Maybelline Color sensational lip stain $5.69
    True match foundation $8.29
    Orly binder base coat $6.99
Sally Hansen salon manicure polish $6.29
Dove Pomegrante and lemon deodorant $4.29
(they didn't have the body wash, but I think that's the scent you like...)

I tried to get the prices of stuff I know I've seen before on Nouveau Cheap and I don't know if they are all amazing deals, but they seem much cheaper than most standard prices I've seen for these, especially the True Match. They also had in my store a bunch of bins with half off a bunch of brands, including Rimmel. I was in a hurry so all I grabbed was a MB color sensational lipstain in Bit of Toffee.
( I think that's what the name is...)

I saw a sign for 40% off Maybelline, which may explain why the lipstain was so cheap, but everything else seems standard. (All the items had a list price and our price). AND, the best part was that they take manufacter's coupons so I used a $1 off one and got my lipstain for 4.69!

I'm in Dallas, so this may not help all readers, but I just had to email you about the prices! I was so surprised because BB&B is usually so overpriced...

There was a smokey eye kit, a bright eye kit (which I purchased), and a lip pallet. For $5 it's totally worth it because the pallets are HUGE. The colors aren't super pigmented but make wonderful bases and for $5 it was a great way to try a ton of colors. I wish there was a blush pallet, because for me E.L.F. blushes are super pigmented, long lasting, and all around amazing. I'll be checking around more Targets to see if there's any others out there.

  103. At Walgreens: a new LIMITED EDITION Jordana display. It included bright neon colored baked eyeshadows, and retractable eye liners. This display was not there two days ago, and yet it was already picked over, with only a few colors remaining. Each eyeshadow and pencil was $2.49 I think, and these colors looked awesome and rare for drugstore makeup. The colors were bright neon orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and pink. Check your local Walgreens to see if they have this new display from Jordana.

  105. today at target i discovered about half the l'oreal hip display on clearance. mostly the eye duos (maybe 8 or 10 different ones), the jelly balms, and the one gel eyeliner that was left (it was the brown one....unsure about the other colors since there werent any there). also several shades of true match foundation and powder. they werent amazing markdowns ($2-3ish for each item) but if you've got a l'oreal coupon hanging around......

im in baltimore, not sure if this is a regional markdown or not. i'm going to check out my other local targets tomorrow!

    ReplyDelete
  106. oops, i meant to say $2-3ish off each item, not that that was the price. the stuff i saw was anywhere from $4 to $8.

  107. There's a lot of great stuff clearanced out at Urban Decay:
loose pigments for $5, smokeout eye pencils for $5, ultra glide lip gloss for $5, two different smokeout (smokey eye) kits in either browns or greens for $15 each and they have 4 shadows, 24/7 eyeliner, and mascara in these kits! And other stuff...
    http://www.urbandecay.com/clearance.cfm

Also I mentioned earlier that I found piles of Max Factor at 10 to 25 cents each at a Walmart in Michigan. Here's the thing, most weren't marked, so I think people must have thought that they were still regular priced at 8.97, or 6.48, etc. But I found one or two that were marked and took a bunch to that price checker thingee in the toy dept and found out that they were ALL priced way cheap. So you all might want to take a look around the clearance cosmetics at your Walmart and see if you can find some of these Max Factor goodies.

  108. Walgreens have Biore combination sets for only $10! Each has a pore strip set (which is $8 alone), and then either a scrub, cleanser, or makeup removing wipes. Such a good deal :D

  110. Went to dollar tree today and scored a bunch of Maybelline polishes! Wet Shine, Wet Shine Diamonds, Express. They had a bunch of blues and unique colors. So exciting!

  111. Today at RiteAid I saw a few Wet n Wild "Lust" palettes with a $1 instant coupon on them - they were behind some palettes WITHOUT the coupon,so check every palette in there!

  112. I went to the Dollar Tree today and picked up a Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Inspired by Carmindy Moisture Plump Lip Balm in Sweet Plum. This is a very, very close dupe of Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick (in color, consistency, and finish, though not quite as glossy as the original), and originally retailed for $8-9 in drugstores. They had another bronzey pink color there, but they were stocked with tons of Sweet Plum. Not bad for a dollar! :]

  113. I hit the health and beauty jackpot! Unfortunately this is only good for readers in New England, you'll want to head on over to Ocean State Job Lot. They had Physicians Formula, Revlon, Max Factor, Covergirl, Maybelline, and so much more that I can't think of off the top of my head. To give you an idea check out the "coming attractions" (they are already there).
    http://www.oceanstatejoblot.com/comingattractions/default.aspx
Health and beauty items are at the end, so skip to 29-39.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Oh I forgot, at Ocean State Job Lot, they also had Black Radiance and Tropez. It's the first time I had seen those brands, unfortunately they were picked over. Also there was Almay, Jane, and Rimmel. They really had everything and at great prices. I was like a kid in a candy store.

  115. I had to go to CVS today to pick up my husband's prescription and took a look at their clearance section, and what do I see? Milani 3D Glitzy Glamour Gloss in Stylish for only $1.73 and Milani nail polishes in Flash Light and Photo Flash for $1.25 each! So of course I had to get them, but what I thought was interesting is that the gloss and the Flash Light polish are so similar and I can't wait to wear them together!

You didn't think I was done already, did you? HAH! I also got the 24.7 Mineral Makeup on clearance. I got foundation in medium, concealer in medium, blush in coral, and bronzer in simply bronze...$2.23 each! This stuff is usually so expensive! Now keep your fingers crossed that this all works and looks good on me. I'm getting cranky about having to powder and blot my oil slick of a face every 15 minutes this steamy hot summer.

I hope some of you can find these deals in your CVS, but I'm not sure since I know my sisters CVSs in CT don't even have a clearance section.

    ReplyDelete
  116. OOOOOOOOOOOooooooo!!!! I have the flash light nail polish on now and I'm in an indoors room with no natural light and it looks mostly pinky deep reddish orange. When I go outdoors is when you see more of the yellow orange, and when the sun hits it, it can be blinding. G already gave a great review, but I'm seconding it. If you can find this one, you'll love it!

  122. 1) My local Dollar Tree had a new shipment of the LA Colors Color Craze nail polishes, so that I found a few colors I wanted that were sold out from last time.

    2) NYC lipsticks and eyeshadows at Dollar Tree. Not sure if this is a real deal since NYC stuff are generally cheap anyway.

    3) Maybelline Fall Fashion Runway 2010 displays spotted at Rite Aid. No new stuff but they have $1 tear-off coupons. Stack that with the current 40% off deal and the $2 off Rite Aid video values coupon, and you've got an awesome deal!

    ReplyDelete
  123. I got these beauty deals at Rite Aid yesterday:

Garnier Herbashine is on sale for $6, and there is $2 Video Values coupon and a $2 printable coupon from Red Plum. So, it cost $2 in the end (normally $8)

I also picked a Maybelline single shadow, normally $3.60, at 40% off for $2.15. Tnen I used my $2 Video Values coupon, so I got it for 15 cents.

  124. I went to my dollar tree today, and found lots of almay, loreal, nyc and sally hansen.

    Almay: mascara, eye shadow
    loreal: eye liner pencils

    Sally hansen: tinted limp balm

    oh and Cutex polish remover!

i stocked up on everything :)

The Rite Aid Video Values Maybelline coupon is a manufacturer's coupon. With the 40% off, it is still a great deal, but you can't stack it with the $1 off, unfortunately.

Target's website has a $1.50 off Pond's Face Skincare coupon, and there is also a $1.50 off Any Pond's Cream Towelette or Cleansing cloths coupon here: http://ponds.com/promo.aspx

You could stack both for a total savings of $3, $1.22-$1.31 per pack depending on which one you get

Also, if you "like" Revlon on Facebook, they have a $2/1 Superlustrous l/s coupon.

  134. Lemme see...where to begin?

At Walmart they had a few things in the clearance section but a lot of it was only marked down 75 cents or a dollar, this is not a clearance price, it's barely a sale price! Anyway I did get some Degree deodorant that was packaged with a body spray for only $5. I've never heard of this but it's their "Fine Fragrance" line. I got Sexy Intrigue and Classic Romance. These are the only two my Walmart had, there is a third Delicious Bliss that I would have also picked up. Also, while looking up the name of the third one I found this website with more info if you're interested: http://www.degreewomen.com/Women/Fine-Fragrance-Collection.aspx

How about another dollar off that clearance price? Look at the bottom of the website it says, Save $1.00 now and click it for the printable coupon.

I've only used the Sexy Intrigue so far and love the fragrance, but wish it lasted longer. (The deodorant part lasts at least. lol) But body sprays generally don't last as long as a cologne, so I just give myself another spritz mid-day.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Donna: I try not to comment on this thread (because I don't want to clog up all the great deals like the one you posted) but I couldn't resist this one. :) Just wanted to direct your attention to this:

Sometimes you need look no further than this lil' ol' blog for information! I'm a huge fan of this collection and I've raved about it countless times here. Hope that helps, and thanks for the heads-up, and for the coupon info! :D

PS: I also love THIS Degree collection, in case you ever find it on clearance as well:

  136. At Sephora I thought this was a great price, there is a Makeup Palette To Go - Bronze Tones for only $7. Eight eyeshadows, four lip colors, and a bronzer/blush.

Also check out the section called Sephora Favorites, there is a combination set called Lash Stash Mascara Deluxe Sampler that I want to try in hopes of finding my HG mascara. It's 10 different deluxe sample sized mascaras for $27.

And I'm thinking about getting my sons the fragrance samplers for Christmas in hopes of breaking them of the Axe/Tag body spray kick they are on. (Oh and at Walmart Axe sets with deodorant and body spray were also $5, and yeah, I got it for them.)

    ReplyDelete
  137. Oops, shoot, forgot to leave the link for the Sephora Favorites in that last comment.

    I hope these links work!

    ReplyDelete
  138. G, do you think Gottlieb had a hand in creating Pleasures? The link said she had worked with Estee Lauder. What's interesting is that I bought a Calvin Klein fragrances set for one of my son's because I love Euphoria for men and I bought Colors de Bennetton for my other son. Both are her creations. I love them neither kid does though!

I love the Sexy Intrigue scent that you thought was meh. I'm glad you said it reminded you of half a dozen Victoria's Secret scents, now I know where to shop for my next colognes! lol

  139. Still have more. I don't know how many of you have been collecting the Stila Travel palettes, but the new one is already out on their website, but not yet at Sephora. As with the others it's only $10, a steal!

    Trendsetting in Tokyo

I'm only sorry I'm so late in posting this, it's been out for several days including Friday. On Fridays, Stila runs Friday Happy Hour, I forget the exact deal, but I remember it was another cheap package deal with several cosmetics for like $15 with a $10 purchase. Yeah, if you bought this palette you'd be eligible. Anyway, if you can hold off wait until next Friday and see what their Happy Hour deal is, it might even be better!

And L'Oreal, several coupons. You have to click at the top right where it says, My L'Oreal, then click where it says Special Offers in the sidebar. I have $2 on Visible Lift foundation, $3 on Collagen Micropulse Eye, $2 on hair color, $1 on Go 360 cleanser, $1 on any product, and a sweepstakes, on mine.

There were two displays with probably 12 different colors in each one. I bought 5, and they are all amazingly sparkly! I also got the shades you mentioned from the Xtreme Wear, and Insta-wear. There was also a new limited edition collection from L'oreal called Midnight Muse (Midnight something?) with about 10-12 new Color Riche lipsticks, 3-4 new Color Riche lipglosses, and 4 new polishes. The lippies are plums and mauves, and the nail polishes are dark vampy colors. I really love fall colors!

If you do, they are restructuring and nearly everything in softlines, to include sneakers, baby items, and miscellaneous stuff on a clearance rack is on clearance PLUS 50% off. However, this is about some organic lotion:

Organic Bath Co. obsessively pure has hydrating lotion/wash/scrub in two fragrances on sale for $1.15. This is the price after 50% off and, as you know, no taxes. The two fragrances are pomegranate fig and lavender vanilla. I purchased the hydrating lotion in pomegranate fig. I like it. Feels a little thick going on but smooths out, doesn't feel oily keeps me soft. Because I will run out of room the first few ingredients: aqueous infusion of certified organic white tea/aloe vera/green tea oil/evening primrose oil/jojoba oil, vegetable glycerin

  151. Oh shoot, I wish I had paid better attention, anyway...

G, I saw a "special price" display for Physicians Formula mineral foundation both in the loose jars and pressed powder compacts at Rite Aid today. It was for $5.99 each! I didn't get any because I'm brain dead sick right now and only went to Rite Aid for cold medicine and to fill some prescriptions. (I'm taking advantage of the deal for a $25 gift card for each prescription you transfer. It only worked for one out of two tho.) By the time I got my prescriptions I forgot to go back and take a closer look and maybe buy some.

Anyway, part of my brain deadness...I'm almost certain it was for mineral powder foundation, but it's possible it was for finishing powder. I don't think so, but I'm so dizzy who knows??? I know you love PF regular powder foundation, I bet you wouldn't mind giving the mineral powder foundation a try at that price.

  152. I wonder what's up with Makeup on the Cheap, she's really late with the upcoming week's deals. I hope she's okay and just living it up doing something fun.

I decided to check I heart Rite Aid since they usually have the best deals and wooooo it's going to be a good week, or bad one if you're trying to stay on budget and not buy makeup! There are some great BOGOFREEs coming up. Covergirl face and lip, unfortunately it excludes the Simply Ageless line so we won't be getting a deal on the blushes you just reviewed. Do blushes count as face anyway, or is that only foundation or maybe concealer too? I'll have to check your reviews to see if there are any lipsticks or lip glosses to check out from CG.

Also...Sally Hansen and Borghese are BOGOFREE! And NY Color is BOGOFREE! I'm not as thrilled with that one as I was with the WnW BOGOFREE, but NYC does still have a few products I like and others I'd be interested in trying so I'm sure I'll still spend too much. lol and I won't have any problem picking out some SH.

and Neutrogena is 40% off, not just makeup but bath and skin care too. Olay cleansers and moisturizers are 6.99. I should probably pick up some of that since I'm running low and will run out in a week or two on my moisturizer.

There's a couple of BOGO50s too, SH Natural Beauty, the Carmindy stuff, I don't think my Rite-Aid even carries that line. And L'Oreal. It looks like all the L'Oreal hair care, skin care, hair color is on sale too. Same with Garnier.

    ReplyDelete
  153. 32nd St. NEX (NBSD) has all Physician's Formula 40% off. While they don't have the gel eyeliner, they do have everything else at about a dollar discount on a regular basis when compared to stores not on base.
    Example:
Bamboo compact with mirror is normally 5.99
Separate powder runs around 8.99 (last time I checked), for both, after 40% discount and no taxes you have a grand total of 8.98? My math isn't perfect, but around there.

  163. Anyone who's been wanting to try out Rimmel Lash Accelerator, the Walgreens 50% off sale DOES include it this week! If you have any coupons, this should make your grand total much lower than even the CVS sale.

However, be careful which one you give the cashier first, because if you only get one thing, ONLY ONE COUPON WILL APPLY. I didn't know this 'cause I've been spoiled by CVS and Rite Aid, LOL, but it IS the official coupon policy. Anyway, if you have the $3 All You coupon, that means your total should come to about $1.75!

So you could get Twilight Woods Fragrance Mist, Shower Gel, and Body Lotion. Then get Dark Kiss Fragrance Mist, Shower Gel, and Body Lotion. And it would only cost $34.50 with $7.99 shipping...except of course you would use the code to get another 20% off with $3 shipping for a final total of $30.60! The code is FALL20 and of course you don't have to pick the items I suggested, or even that sales deal since there are some other great ones, but use that code before you checkout no matter what you decide to buy!

  165. OMG OMG OMG!!!!! I just got back from my Dollar Tree and they had Sally Hansen Nail Prisms in two packs. Unfortunately there were only 4 shades but since I had none before now, I'm happy with that. Besides my husband would not have been happy with me if I spent $30 at the dollar store. lol

I'm not sure if you'll find these at your Dollar Tree, since it just seems that they are slower than everyone else's at getting makeup and putting it out. Everyone else was finding these last Spring and Summer. So it could be they are just getting around to putting them out, when they have had them in the stockroom months ago.

But the other thing I got was a few NYC Nail Glossies polishes, these are also in two packs with many shades to choose from. Every Dollar Tree I've gone to is putting out old discontinued NYC stuff, so you are very likely to find this at your Dollar Tree too.

    *doing happy dance*

  169. Woooooo boy, I just love that Dollar Tree. I had to go to CT to visit my family this weekend, so I got to hit a few "foreign" Dollar Trees. All of them did have the Sally Hansen Nail Prisms but may be mixed with other Sally polishes in the two packs. Also the selection is very limited with only 1-4 shades. I still got some nice Xtreme Wears, Maximum Growths, Fire/Star Opals, No Chip 10 Day Nail Colors, and Salon Nail Lacquers. So yeah, lots of Sally Hansen showing up lately.

But I also found Love's Baby Soft, Berry Sweet, and Sugar Kiss! They have big bottles of Moisturizing Body Splash (10 oz), Moisturizing Body Lotion (12 oz), and Moisturizing Body Wash (12 oz). Even though they call it a "splash" it still comes with a pump to spritz it on. I hate having to splash fragrance on and much prefer a spray or pump. I went to 4 Dollar Trees total, and every one of them had some of these, so you should be able to find it at yours, but each had a different variety. My Dollar Tree only had the splashes and body wash (in Baby Soft and Berry Sweet), so I was surprised when I hit the next one and there was lotion too (and Sugar Kiss). Also, 3 of them had it in the section for shampoos, body wash, and other soaps. The last had it 'hidden' on an end cap that I almost missed. So look around!

3 out of 4 of the Dollar Trees also had Olay Body Wash. These are in smaller bottles, 6.8 oz each, but I still got a bunch because Olay is so darned expensive, so to get even these smaller bottles for $1 is a steal.

The last thing I spotted was a bunch of Revlon Matte eyeshadow singles in so many beautiful colors. I picked up 6 or 7 of those. So I went nuts at all these Dollar Trees! lol

  170. My RiteAid has certain shades of Sinful Colorson clearance for half off. Also on the same clearance is the Maybelline Fashion week line. My display still had the $1 off coupons, too, so a really good deal!

  171. This past weekend, I visited Ross and came across a bunch of nail polish and makeup sets. They had a pack of Color Club polishes, which were basic and neutral colors. They also had Color Club nail pens. There were a bunch of Wet and Wild nail and makeup sets for the holidays. I picked up a couple of Tres Risk nail polish sets for $4.99 with some gorgeous metallic shades. Each clam shell had 4 polishes. There were also a couple Tropez polish sets, and I picked up one with a really great purple/lavender shimmer. Those were in packs of 6 for $2.99. I have never heard of Tres Risk or Tropez, but the colors seemed too great to pass up (and Tres Risk is 4-free). There were also some sets of Physician's Formula with powder, eyeliner, and I think blush. I don't remember the price on those sets. It looks like they are gearing up for the holidays so I would expect to see more sets in the next couple months!!

  172. ANYONE LOOKING FOR HARD CANDY'S "MR WRONG"...

Walmart.com has it in stock! They have it labelled as "periwinkle" but it's definitely Mr Wrong! It's $5 plus $.97 shipping on any cosmetics order, so you're paying a dollar more instead of $5-$15 from eBay or other retailers.

I still haven't seen "Beetle" online, or in my store, but I'm definitely keeping my eyes open for them!

    ReplyDelete
  173. ETA: It's free shipping to home. Even better!

  174. Hi again G! i sent you an e-mail w/ pics of some NYX palletes i saw at CVS today. Hope this helps!

  175. Dollar Tree had softsoap body washes. total of 3 kinds, honeysuckle and orange peel, the pomegranate one and the shea one. Got all of them as well as some Olay body washes.

    ReplyDelete
  176. Mine had the Softsoaps too, but I already spent so much on all the Love's stuff and cosmetics. But really people, get down to your Dollar Tree. It just seems that they are coming up with all kinds of great new bath and beauty products. I'd love to see if other parts of the country get different things.

    ReplyDelete
  177. I stopped into TJ Maxx today and they had Shisheido (sp?) and Nars cosmetics items, ELF too, and a couple others I didn't recognize.

    ReplyDelete
  178. Texas ladies. HEB has full sized Orly polishes on sale! Buy 2 polishes for $5.00.

  179. I hate Zoya, but only because I want Zoya polishes so bad and Mary at Body and Soul just had to go post that they are having a BOGO sale at Zoya.com right now. I have no money for this, why couldn't they have waited another couple of weeks to do this??? Oh hell, I'd only be broke in another couple of weeks anyway. Who wants to lend me a few hundred dollars for all my lemmings? I promise I'll pay it all back... as soon as I win the lottery! lol

Go to Zoya.com. Pick out up to 10 polishes, the limit is 5 free ones. Use the coupon code BOGO5 when you check out, and you're good as gold!

  180. Be careful with the 50% off at Walgreens... When I went today, the manager said it was only for things between $0.99 and $2.99 or smth. I might check again tomorrow just to make sure, because this isn't specified anywhere on the national ad.

On the other hand, they seem to be clearancing out all Borghese polishes for $4.19 each. I used a $1 coupon from a display to knock it down some more. If you have any other Borghese coupons, now is the time to use them.

    ReplyDelete
  181. The 50% off at Walgreens does not apply to the Holiday Palettes. Booooo :(.

Sally's has Fingerpaints NP on sale for $3.99 and if you buy 3 you get a free clutch. They are also printing out a $5 off $20 to use over Thanksgiving Weekend with any purchase.

    ReplyDelete
  182. I would seriously complain if Walgreens does not honor the 50% off on the holiday palettes. It does not say anywhere on that ad that they are not included. I saw someone post that a manager said that it was only items priced from $.99 to $2.99. The signs clearly state $.99 to $5.39.

I bought some and wasn't paying attention, and they charged me full price. I ended up getting another $5 off $10 coupon, so I ended up just buying them again and they rang up $4.99, but the cashier did an adjustment without hesitation. I then returned the original ones to the store where I bought them.

If they don't honor it, that is completely lame.

  183. There is even more at Dollar Tree, now they are getting in Maybelline Mineral Power Blushes, these are the loose powder ones, in ALL the shades. I had the hardest time choosing there were so many. I finally decided on Gentle Pink, True Peach II, Simply Coral II, and Sunset Bronze II. And yes there are two shades of the peach, coral, and bronze. To my eye the difference is that the ones marked II are a little darker, I have a medium complexion so I prefer a little darker.

I also popped into Target to pick up a few things, but I don't often go there, so I'm not certain but it looks to me like the ELF display has new palettes and sets for the holidays? I got a 32 piece eyeshadow collection for only $5! The box has gold snowflakes on it, so that's why I am assuming they are limited edition for the holidays, but maybe they just decorated the boxes for the holidays? And I've just been in the dark about these being available any time? There are several shades in browns, bronzes, taupe, black, grey, silver etc for neutrals, but also some gorgeous jewel tone colors. If this is limited edition, then get your butt down to Target before these sell out (and all the other sets for $5 and $10! You'll see something you like, or want to get for a present for someone on your Christmas list!)!!!

    ReplyDelete
  184. I forgot, Dollar Tree also has Miraclear 12 acne cream, spot treatment, and face wash. This surprises me because I've bought this for my kids and I know it sells for $8 - 12 at drugstores, Target, Walmart, etc.

And they had Softlips lip balm too, and that usually sells for $3 - 5. I got the honeydew, but they had several flavors to choose from. I think I'll go back for more since every winter my whole family gets chapped lips.

    ReplyDelete
  185. My Dollar Tree is killing me! They got in even more Sally Hansen polishes, now I'd be able to resist if they just kept getting the same thing in, I don't want duplicates, but no... now they have Lacquer Shines! I love those so much I've been buying them off ebay, so of course I had to get more!

They also had different Nail Prisms, and Opals. Before I thought, geez these opals suck, you can't build them up, it's like having slightly pearly top coat on. Then I read somewhere, use 'em over a dark polish. So I put on NYC glossies in 247B (Sapphire) since that was an untried Dollar Tree find too. Gorgeous glowy dark blue, that glowy quality keeps it from looking black. And I have 10 different shades of Opals, so now I have a bizarre skittles mani! lol

I recommend that if you find 06 Red Opal, do not let it get away. You layer that baby over black or another dark color and it will shock you, in a good way.

OMG! My word verification is discomon! lmao

  186. If anyone lives in the Oklahoma City area and likes Wet n' Wild products, this tip is for you: Go to Walmart and get the All You magazine with the purple cover, clip out wet n' wild $5 off $10 coupon, go to Walgreen's, grab $20 worth of Wn'W, head to counter, enjoy your $5 out of pocket expense. :)

Walgreen's is having Wn'W products at 50% off until 11-20. That dosn't include the gift sets or new limited edition palettes. But, you can still grab two of the palettes, and something for a buck and use the coupon. :)

  187. I went to CVS today, and they had a brand new Revlon polish called Perplex. The display called one of the hottest runway colors (or something like that), and it appears to be a Chanel Paradoxal wannabe. I don't have the Chanel so I don't know if it's a dupe but I'll settle for $4.99 any day! Revlon's are BOGO1/2 right now too!

  188. Hi again G! I sent you info/pics of orly mani minis that i spotted for $3.99 at Bed Bath & Beyond. Hope this helps!

  190. I don't know how many of you are in New England, probably not many. But if you are head over to Ocean State Job Lot. They had 5 packs of Styli-Style Plastique lip glosses for $4. These things sell for $7.50-$8 a piece usually! I got two of those.

They also had a bunch of Sally Hansen limited edition Salons, the same ones that had Hidden Treasure, but they were picked over by the time I got there. I want to know if Hidden Treasure is at any other OSJL. I still got 5 of the other colors for $2 each!

I got a SH Xtreme Wear in Night Lights for $1.50.

I got Covergirl Boundless Color in Pink Twinkle and City Lights for $2 each.

I got 4 Sally Hansen/La Cross eyeshadow brushes, 2 regular and 2 crease brushes. Those were $2.50 each.

I got one Diamond Cosmetics powder brush and one Diamond Cosmetics blush brush. Those were a dollar each.

And a bunch of other non-makeup stuff too.

    ReplyDelete
  191. Oh and I got SH Beyond Perfect Speed Shine top coat for $1.50 at OSJL.

And at Walgreens the SH Maximum Growth Plus is all clearanced out, but not much I wanted, so I only got Adoring Amethyst. I forget the price though, like $2.50 or $3.

  192. I'm very sure you have readers that are either spouses of those in the US Military or are in the US military themselves.

The Navy Exchange is going to have an AMAZING sale on their ENTIRE stock of drugstore makeup after Thanksgiving! It's a one day sale!

Here is the link to the flyer I scanned.

I uploaded it to my Flickr. I'll post about it at my own blog. I am going to stock up on Revlon Photoready, mascara and some lipsticks at this event!

  193. I've been putting off buying Maybelline's Falsies because I didnt want to pay $7 or $8 for it. I took advantage of Wag's sale, bringing price to $4.49, and I used a coupon for $1 off any maybelline and got it for only $3.49! Can't wait to try it out!

And just a tip for anyone wanting to take advantage of the sale. Look around and see if they still have the "Fall" maybelline display (that had that grey and dark green polish) and see if they still have coupons on there!

    ReplyDelete
  194. The Dollar Tree now sell Revlon Matte Eyeshadow's. The colors are navy blue, brown, light green and purple. The brown one is really nice. These are still sold in CVS for 4.99 still so it's a steal.

    Lip Gloss $6.00

Also True Colors is having a sale on their 8-stacks of pigment. They are normally $55 for an 8-stack but right now you can get four 8-stacks for $99 plus free shipping. I like this brand because the pigment is very very intense and a little bit goes a long way. I am still using 8-stacks that I bought in 2000!
