Well guess what? They're inching their way closer to us--they've landed in Canada! A huge thanks to reader Elle for this sighting:

Revlon Photoready Skinlights Face Illuminators in Canada
(retail: $15 CAD, 1.0 oz)
There are four shades in this range:

100 Bare Light, 200 Pink Light, 300 Peach Light, 400 Bronze Light
Granted, these are not exactly like the old Skinlights collection (the old line had tons of different products including loose powders, blushes, etc.) but I'm hoping that since Revlon is using the name "Skinlights," this means that these new versions will include some of the qualities that made the originals such a hit.
I'll of course keep you posted if I hear anything about a US launch date for these. Until then, are you excited to see these coming closer to the US? If you're in the UK or Canada and have tried "Skinlights 2.0" I'd LOVE to hear from you!
Thanks so much, Elle, for the awesome sighting and pics. I really appreciate it!
Can't wait until they hit the US!
ReplyDeleteI JUST heard from a reader on Instagram that they were spotted at Rite Aid!
DeleteI think this the first time a non-Canadian brand released a product in Canada before the US!!!
ReplyDeleteActually, nope! Maybelline and L'Oreal have also done this. The Color Tattoos hit Canada first, and the Colour Caresse glosses, etc. Seems to be a growing trend.
DeleteWhere in Canada? !
ReplyDeleteI've heard from several Canadian readers that they're all over Canada now, from east to west! I think they're at Shoppers.
DeleteI saw them at Shoppers and Loblaws
DeleteI love your blog. I wanted to share that i just picked up all four! For 14.95 canadian @ my local crappy Wal-Mart. I think I gotta get back ups though! :)
DeleteAm I correct in assuming that these just add glowy highlights to the skin? How wouly you say the old version compared to NARS Illuminators? Because if Bronze Light would do for me what Laguna does at half the price? POW! (Not that I've ever PURCHASED Laguna. I'm a TRUE Nouvette!)
ReplyDeleteThis is exciting! I can't wait till it starts rolling out here.
ReplyDeleteI tried the pink one and I'm not very impressed with these..I tought it will be a dupe for benefits high beam, but it was really just shimmer, no color at all..
ReplyDeleteThanks for your feedback. I was hoping that they'd compare to other high end products too.
DeleteI just spotted these in store tonight.. did not pick one up because #1 ) price $16.00 where i live.. yikes and i dont really know what they are for.. a highlighter..????
ReplyDeleteI saw them at Jean Coutu yesterday!
