I know I'm not the first beauty blogger to mention this, but I cannot let this go without sending you a big "HURRY!".
CVS is holding their semi-annual beauty blowout clearance sale right now (many items 50-75% off) and I want you all to have a chance at these goodies before they're all picked over.
I'm getting ready to scoot on down to my CVS right now (and of course I'll report back) but I have heard that tons of L'Oreal HiP stuff is marked down to 2 bucks each, as well as select Almay and Revlon stuff. I'm SURE that's not all, but that's what I can confirm at this point (if you've been to a CVS this weekend, please leave a comment and let us know what you've scored!).
Also, before you go, be sure to visit CVS.com and go to the coupon section because there are printable coupons that you can take with you to get even more money off your purchases (there's a $2 off coupon for any L'Oreal face product, a $1 off coupon on any L'Oreal eye product, a $1 off coupon for any L'Oreal lipstick, and TONS of $2 and $5 coupons for Lumene stuff).
Also, I want to mention that in addition to these crazy savings, CVS currently has a BOGO on all Revlon foundations, blushes, powders, concealers and lip products. PLEASE NOTE: THIS BOGO ENDS TODAY, JAN 2!

I just went a little crazy at my CVS thanks to this post! I found an elf gift set (they sell these at CVS?!?) of 3 click up Hypershine lip glosses in a bin by the front door for $3 (vixen, flirt, & va va voom), and then I started on the stickered items. I found 75% off Loreal items, so I ended up with HiP color rich cream crayon in 382 ($2.25), colour juice lip gloss in tutti frutti ($2.12). And then 50% off for Maybelline: XXL volume + length mascara in very black ($4.15), and Mineral Powder foundation ($4.75). Woo-hoo! Thanks for letting me know about this early so all the good stuff wasn't gone! ~Liz~
ReplyDeletewow so weird because after reading this post earlier, I head out to CVS and nothing much is really on a sale. Revlon is BOGO and only a few other items (non of loreals though) are on sale. May be I went to a bad CVS?!
ReplyDeleteI just got back from mine and there wasn't much on sale really...not a lot of 75% off stuff either...some physicians formula powder and a few lipsticks...i did pick up 3 l'oreal color juice lip glosses for about 2 bucks each
ReplyDeleteI had see this earlier in the week. I had seen a lot of L'oreal lipstick, HIP duos/crayon and Revlon mascara, blush and matte lipsticks on 75% off. I got couple HIP duos and Revlon lipstick, but even though Revlon cosmetics are BOGO this week it didn't apply to the 75% off items (that sucked). But they do have some terrific discount on very good items. Thanks for the CVS discount printable coupons.
ReplyDeletethanks for the heads-up.....i went and checked it out. only got one HiP cream paint though, there was just a scant handful of the magic green stickers on really random items. i'm happy though cuz i have had my eye on the paint i bought (reg 12, i got it for 3)!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads-up! I went to CVS and picked up a really pretty Revlon lipstick. It was marked down %75 from $8.99, so after tax, it cost me only 2.16! I would have picked up more, but I have some vet bills that I am going to have to pay, since my Guinea Pig has a problem with his foot. Poor little guy. :(

ReplyDeleteI was at CVS earlier today and saw nothing? I didn't go on a huge make up aisle search because I was there for specific non-make up items, but still -- I didn't notice any more tags than usual!
ReplyDeleteThey had a ton of stuff for 75% at my cvs. I got some L'Oreal colorjuice glosses for $2.12, a L'oreal age perfect foundation for $4.25, L'Oreal Trumatch powder for $2.75, L'Oreal single pan eyeshadow for $1.25, Milani Glimmer Stripes for $1.87, Milani twist foundation for $2.12, Rimmel Vinyl lipgloss for $1.62, and Revlon colorstay lipstick for $2.49. Aside from these items, other 75% off items I saw include almost all of Rimmel blushes and foundation, some Rimmel lipstick including the Birthday Suit color, several sheer colored Milani nailpolishes, some Milani lipglosses, all of the Almay pure blends lipglosses, some of the Almay shadows and mascaras, some of the Revlon creme & twist glosses, and some of the brighter Revlon eye shadow colors which I believe were part of the matte line. From what I recall, the brands mentioned about all had 50-75% off. I did not see any Physician's Formula or Neutrogena makeup on sale, and not much for Maybelline only a few nail polishes at 50% off.
ReplyDeleteMy local store is on sale as well! I picked up a bottle of Revlon nail color (It was kind of pointless, since my local grocery store is also having a 3 dollar off revlon sale which applies to all revlon products...) and a L'oreal gloss...

ReplyDeleteI bought three Rimmel lipsticks for 1.32 each, a green Sally Hansen NP for 3.25, a Rimmel lip jelly so 1.57, a Revlon matte shadow for 1.25, one of the HIP paint creams for 2.99, a L'oreal duo for 1.49, a HIP duo for 1.99, and a L'oreal lipgloss for 1.99. They didn't have a whole lot of stuff there, but the stuff that had the 75% off sticker on it I went to town with
R: i got the HiP paint in Secretive- a golden neutral shade- because the other shades on sale were very dark and this one looked like it could double as a shadow base. i'm test-driving it today...think i overapplied though.

ReplyDeleteI use the Secretive paint as a base sometimes, but I use a primer, then the paint, then my shadow. I like it a lot, but it has shimmer in it so it's pointless for matte colors. It does help a lot with vibrancy though, and those lazy days that you don't want a full face of makeup it can be just a little bit extra something with mascara:)

everything totaled, i saved a whopping $75.10!!!!!
they didn't have much of the l'oreal HIP products on sale, unfortunately, and i didn't see any of the HIP jelly balm, which i adore. has l'oreal stopped making it?

OH! and before I forget: Those HiP Jelly Balms are showing up at 99-Cent Only Stores (if you have those in your area). I got a gorgeous deep wine shade there the other day and posted about it. I have seen them at Rite Aid as well, so I'm not sure if they're being d/c'ed or if they're just getting rid of old colors to make way for new. At any rate, check your dollar stores for 'em! xo
