Hard Candy has a released a TON of new, permanent products for Spring 2015, and I have lots of pics to share with you today! Please note that I have not received any official press info from Hard Candy at this time, so this post contains photos both submitted to me by readers, and also some things I've spotted myself. If there is anything missing here, I apologize, but it seems like things are starting to trickle into Walmart stores little by little right now.
Also, if you have sent me photos via social media and you don't see them there, I apologize! I received several tags and direct messages over the past several days, and I'm afraid I couldn't keep track of them all. I'm featuring as many photos as I can in this post so, again, I apologize if you don't see your pics here (and thank you so much for taking the time to share!).
NOTE: Prices listed when known.
First up, some sightings courtesy of reader Jill (@hermakeupmemoir on Instagram):

Hard Candy Glamoflauge Foundation
(eight shades)
I was wondering if HC was ever going to expand their wildly popular Glamoflauge line, and here we have a new foundation. I've been hearing comparisons to Kat Von D Lock-It foundation...I can't wait to try this one. Also, just so you know, this is a PUMP bottle.

I'll be showing you some additional reader pics of two of these palettes a little bit later in this post.
Next up, some pics courtesy of reader Lissa:

Hard Candy Sheer Envy Conceal & Corrector Palette
Medium Tan
(retail: $6)
I spotted another shade in this range at a local Walmart recently (I'm not sure if there are more than two shades in this range):
Hard Candy Sheer Envy Conceal & Corrector Palette
Light Medium
(retail: $6)
I also spotted a few other products at a local Walmart:
Hard Candy Smokey Eyeshadow Primer
Hard Candy Shimmer Eyeshadow Primer
Hard Candy Clear Mascara Waterproof Top Coat
(primers: $5 each, mascara top coat: $6 each)
I am VERY excited to see a waterproofing mascara top coat at the drugstore level, since I don't know of many other affordable options out there right now. I know some of you use Ulta Raincoat, and there are higher-end versions like Anastasia Beverly Hills Lash Genius out there. I'm excited to see how this HC version compares.
Also, I'll be showing you some reader swatches of the Shimmer Primer in a moment. But here's another new product I spotted at a local Walmart recently:
Hard Candy Sheer Envy Eye Brightening Concealer
(Radiance, Light and Medium)
(Radiance, Light and Medium)
There are three shades in this range (at least that I'm aware of): Radiance, Light and Medium.
And here are some pics (and swatches!) courtesy of reader Vicky:

Hard Candy Fast & Fabulous Makeup Setting Spray
(retail: $6, 2.2 oz)
I'm very excited about this new setting spray, considering that it retails for $6 (a lot less than the L'Oreal setting spray, which is $16.99 at Ulta for 3.4 oz). So far I've heard some good feedback about this one from some of you who have already purchased it.
Vicky also purchased two of the new eyeshadow palette tins and kindly shared some pics:

Hard Candy Sassy Natural Eyeshadow Palette
I know what you're thinking, and you're absolutely right. this palette looks A LOT like the Too Faced Natural Eyes Neutral Eyeshadow Collection Palette ($36).
I'm very excited to try this one, and I want to thank everyone on Instagram who requested that I review these--I have been looking everywhere for this palette locally but I've only spotted the Sassy Eyes and Smokey Eyes tins so far. The hunt continues!

Hard Candy Shimmer Eye Shadow Primer
(BOTTOM PIC: Comparison to Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin)
Vicky was also nice enough to share some swatches of the HC Shimmer Eye Shadow Primer, including a swatch comparison to UDPP Sin (Sin is on the left, HC is on the right in the bottom pic above). Sadly, not a dupe.
UPDATE:
UPDATE:
Hard Candy Stay In Line 12HR Mechanical Gel Liners
Blackest Black, Dark Chocolate, Eggplant, Midnight, Gunmetal, Black Metallic
(retail: $5 each)
I went to another Walmart location today and spotted the two new eyeliner lines that some of you here and on social media had mentioned to me (thank you for the tips!). This first one, the Stay In Line Mechanical Gel Liners, remind me of the new Nyx Tres Jolie Gel Pencil Liner that I reviewed HERE. Here's a closer look:
Next up:
I think that about covers it--for now! If you've seen any other new Hard Candy products are your local Walmart stores that I have not covered here, I would love it if you'd comment below and filled us in. In the meantime, do you already own any of these new products? Thoughts?
Hard Candy 12HR Smudge Proof Felt Tip Eyeliners
five shades
(retail: $5 each)
Now you know I'm a huge felt-tip liner fan, so I can't wait to try these. It's rare to see COLORED jumbo felt lip liners at the drugstore level (we usually only get black at the drugstores, right?). I didn't get to jot down the shade names (sorry) but I did get some close-ups:

Thanks so much, Jill, Lissa, and Vicky, for the great sightings and pics. I really appreciate it!
I wish I was well enough to get to Walmart so I could check all of these things out! I've been a bit disappointed with a lot of their products in the past, since it changed so much since hitting the shelves of Walmart, but I really want to try some of these things now. I've never tried their foundations or primers before, and that smoky eye kit is something I could really use. Same with the concealing kit. Meds are killer on my skin so I need better coverups than simple things like coral lipsticks for concealing under eye dark circles under my foundation.
ReplyDeleteI bought the sheer envy concealer palette and it is a NO NO! Greasy and sheer. I would definitely not recommend it for anything except maybe cleaning up under the brows.
ReplyDeleteI also have the shimmer primer and it has visible chunks of glitter but it does work well as a primer. I don't find it to make my shimmer eyeshdows anymore brighter but it simply works as a primer.
I have the blush in sunburst, the foundation, and the lip gloss in make me blush. I love all of those products! I also tried the concealer, but I ended up taking it back because I didn't like it. The coverage wasn't very good and it seemed to get clogged up coming out of the brush applicator
ReplyDeleteI was at Walmart today and picked up the 12-hour long wear primer... I was very interested in seeing the ombré blushes in person but that was the one thing they didn't have... I thought hard about those palettes too, but passed them up for the time being since I just got *both* L'Oreal La Palettes last week 😳
ReplyDeleteThere are new eyeliners, too. Gel pencil liners and felt tip liners. Also, new foundation. I picked up both new ombre blushes, the foundation, three glosses one gel and one felt liner and the a radiance eye brightner. I like all the products except the sheer light pink gloss I chose accidentally--I thought it was intense like the others.
ReplyDeleteSorry. I missed the foundation in the photos above! That's the one I got. It's fluffy and mouse-like. Love it, so far.
ReplyDeleteWill be interesting to see how many of these new products are available at Canadian Walmarts. A few of them caught my eye.
ReplyDeleteThey are at least in Quebec except the fushia mascara, the concealer palette and the brightening concealer (nooooo)
DeleteI just picked up the Setting Spray and Clear Mascara topcoat at Walmart and saw most of these!

ReplyDeletemostly intrigued by the ombré blushes & the intense lipgloss in make blush , knockout punch & adrenaline .

I grabbed the last Natural Eyes palette. I have also heard the buzz about it being a dupe for the Too Faced palette. Can't wait to try out. I was going to grab the foundation but I wasn't sure about the color. I am so pale and was worried it might pull kinda orange? I would love a review! Pretty Please?!?!
ReplyDeleteI'm pale with more of a neutral to yellow undertone. I grabbed the lightest shade and it's perfect. Not orangey at all!
DeleteEverything looks fantastic! Can't wait to see if my local Wal-Mart stores have recieved these makeup goodies in yet. My first purchase is going to have to be that Glamoflauge foundation. I love the concealer and I'm hoping that I will love the foundation just the same. A setting spray for only $6? Now that is awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI should not have looked at this. This is going to be VERY bad for my wallet.
ReplyDeleteI usually use a different palette daily. (I have tons of high end!) But now I have the natural palettes and use it every day! It blends like a dream, and is a pretty close dupe to the natural eyes from Too Faced! I love it!
ReplyDeleteThe Natural Eyes palette is actually incredible! I have a comparison with swatches to the Too Faced palette on my own blog, but I won't post it without your permission.
ReplyDeleteThe first pic of the lipglosses had me do a double take. I thought they were cream eyeshadows until I actually read the caption and it said lipglosses! Always looking for an affordable face primer, so I might get that. The ombré blushes look nice too. But yeah, those eyeshadow tins look spot on the Too Face ones. Thanks for all the great pics, G and everyone who submitted them. :D
ReplyDeleteI purchased the natural eyes palette and glamoflauge foundation this week after I watched JamBeauty89's video where she compared the Hard Candy palette it to the Too Faced palette and so far I'm loving it! I plan to try the foundation this weekend. Thanks for all the exciting tips on new products! I'm obsessed with this website!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to point out that you can order these products on walmart.com. The pictures of the palettes don't match the descriptions though, which is 'awesome'.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that too- the only palette I could find in my local store was the "smoky" one, which I don't want. Online, they have a picture of the pink "sassy" palette, but the description says it's gold, while the gold "natural" palette description says "purple." Sigh.
DeleteThey're all mixed up. I ordered all three though so I should be good. XD
DeleteWalmart allows makeup returns now? The last time I tried to return a fairly expensive foundation, the customer service rep belittled me and tsk'd tsk'd during the entire transaction. Then she had the gonads to tell me "people like you are why makeup is so expensive". I should've turned her in and now wish I had but ever since, I've only bought cosmetics there that I was willing to lose the cash if they didn't work out. I don't know if policies differ from store to store, but if they do you might want to check before buying there.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, the palettes look really nice as does the Lumi touch clone but since I'm in makeup rehab I'm gonna have to say no no no ;-)
Kelly-You shouldn't have any issues returning makeup to Walmart. If you do, I suggest asking for management or reporting her to their 800 number. I've worked there briefly. :)
DeleteI'm intrigued by the glosses. Like Carol G. said, I too thought they were eyeshadows. That looks so fun. I'm also loving the bright mascaras, although lime or pink would make me look like a ghoul with pink-eye.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how that foundation is. Just splurged on Estée Lauder double wear last night. It'd be nice to have a cheaper alternative...
ReplyDeleteI recently watched emilynoel83 drugstore haul with a few of these items. she gave a thumbs up to the Foundation and the ombre blushes what she's wearing in her video. I trust her opinions, & can't wait to try some of these.
ReplyDeleteI was at Walmart last night and they had everything but the setting spray and the blushes sadly , those were the two things I was looking for. I did end up picking up the lip gloss in Skyfall and man it is pigmented :)! I am going to keep checking for the blushes and setting spray.
ReplyDeleteIs skyfall really that blue?
DeleteThere were about 6 natural eyes tins at the Walmart in national city
ReplyDeleteMy Walmart never gets new stuff in, so I just placed an order at walmart.com for pretty much all of this stuff lol
ReplyDeleteDitto to an above comment -- check out JamBeauty89 on YouTube, she compares the palette to the Too Faced one.
ReplyDeleteHC is really stepping up their game! I need to go find some of these items. Btw..... NYX now has a waterproof mascara top coat on their Proof It line.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great post. Some day soon I hope to look at all these. I think the eye liners interest me most! Thanks G and everyone that contributed!
ReplyDeleteOh I love those pallets and about everything else. I saw the pallets at my Walmart we have two and newest nicest not a lot of traffic one had them and I stood and drooled the other day. I have to approach these things wisely with my husband who was with me. So I know they have them and I know I will be back to get them. I noticed the section was stocked well. So I am going to have to check out all these other Wonderful products. I have not seen Spring products yet. I have to check out my CVS sometime. I did see Jambeauty89 Jessica's video in the eye pallet that looks a lot like Too faced. And it was very close. She is great to watch and get to know. Awesome girl and all about Drugstore most of the time. She is really growing and everybody needs to watch her if u get a chance. I have been watching for almost a year and never disappoints. Lots if personality and getting ready to get married to a nice fella that has a travel channel. His name is Tyler which I believe is Tyler's Travels. Sorry for the distraction from the subject for a min. I don't know them personally just feels like it when u watch someone's video and or read a Blog like yours. That's so nice and u enjoy so much. Thanks for all u do. I am stuck at home a lot due to illness so really enjoy getting to be in contact with people however u can do it. I love the beauty cmunity. Has brought me so much info and entertainment and enjoyment. Thank you again.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info Sparky. Now I can check out some of this collection and not feel so guilty when I have to bin it. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm super interested in that foundation, loved the kat von d foundation. I have some acne scarring and I'm always looking for full coverage things. Just bought that face primer, I'll let you know my thoughts when I've worn it enough. Since I'm NW10 for MAC and W1 for L'Oréal true match, do you think there's a shade of foundation that will work for me?
