Attention fellow Real Techniques fans (and makeup brush fans in general)! Are you ready to have your minds blown?
Many thanks to reader @salsatapatia0126 on Instagram for this one. @salsatapatia0126 spotted the brand new Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection at her local Ulta today and was nice enough to share some pics with us. Just wait until you see these...

NEW Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection (Ulta Exclusive)
image credit: @salsatapatia0126 for Nouveau Cheap
As you can see in the pic above, this collection contains seven different brushes (eye brushes and face brushes) and they're broken down into gold, silver and rose gold. These are not yet on the Ulta site as of the time of this post, but I do see that there's a banner at the top of the Real Techniques page on the Ulta site that says: "Something Exclusively Bold is Coming to Ulta Beauty from Real Techniques." So that's where I'm getting that this collection is an Ulta-exclusive.
UPDATE: This collection is now on the Ulta site HERE.
Clockwise from top left:
Bold Metals 300 Tapered Blush Brush ($23.99)
Bold Metals 301 Flat Contour Brush ($25.99)
Bold Metals 100 Arched Powder Brush ($25.99)
Bold Metals 101 Triangle Foundation Brush ($23.99)
Bold Metals 200 Oval Shadow Brush ($15.99)
Bold Metals 201 Pointed Crease Brush ($15.99)
Bold Metals 202 Angled Liner Brush ($15.99)
These brushes certainly have a higher price point than other brushes from Real Techniques, but remember that you can use the $3.50 off $10 Ulta coupons on Real Techniques, and if you wait for the next Real Techniques sale at Ulta (they often run BOGO1/2OFF sales), you can save even more with that coupon.
As you can see, the bristles of these brushes are white (they remind me of some of the Wayne Goss brushes) and do you see that brush on the far right above? The 101 Triangle Foundation Brush? Yes, that is a foundation brush that is shaped like a triangle. I'm talking the entire brush (i.e.: the ferrule) is shaped like a triangle--not just the tip. I've seen foundation brushes that have a triangular tip before, but not the entire brush. Have you?

When I was googling this collection a minute ago, I noticed that there's just one review online (as of the time of this post) and it's a YouTube video HERE. If you want a better look at the Triangle Foundation Brush, definitely check out that video.
Have you spotted this collection at your local Ulta this week? If not, I would guess that you'll be able to find it at your Ulta (and also on the Ulta site) within the next day or two.
Thanks so much, @salsatapatia0126, for the great sighting and pics. I really appreciate it!
I see a few I want!
ReplyDeleteAgreed. That Triangle Foundation Brush needs to be mine STAT!
DeleteI grabbed the angled liner and flat contour brush today. They didnt have pricetags yet so i was shocked when they rang up for 15.99 and 25.99. Im looking forward to using them and the positive is you can use the coupons with them.
ReplyDeleteThat's definitely the good thing about these, given the prices! I'd love to know what you think when you try them!
DeleteI def want them if there r good reviews in them. Bday is next mon. I need brushes bad. Just starting out collecting them. Need some for use of foundation and blending

DeleteSomeone posted a pic of these on Instagram and I think they look amazing! I was hoping they came in a set but I still want to try a few of them. Especially those face brushes. They look really interesting.
ReplyDeleteWow, super cool! Thanks for the heads up -- I'm definitely going to swing by my local Ulta tomorrow and see if I spot them. :-D Kind of pricey for RT, in my book, but maybe they'll be worth it. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! Don't forget you can use Ulta coupons on RT! :)
DeleteHere is another great video I found going through each brush. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekGHMbnjXYA
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI was hoping the small accent brush from the starter kit would finally be available as a standalone brush. These do look lovely though!

ReplyDeleteI wanted the flat contour brush....until I found out it was 26 dollars. The price point on these drugstore brushes is ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteI'll be waiting for the next RT sale...and then use the $3.50 off $10 Ulta coupon combined with the sale! :)
DeleteYep! :)
ReplyDeleteAre these LE?
ReplyDeleteThere's no indication of that on the display or packaging, as far as I know, so I don't THINK so.
